Here's the Passenger Locator Form that you will need to fill out before arriving in Greece: travel.gov.gr/#/
I forgot to mention in the video that there are a bunch of countries in the Balkans and eastern Europe that are open now, some of which don't require vaccination or even a Covid test. They are: Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus. If you know of any others comment below. And see these links for more info about which countries are open, which ones are opening soon and what the entry requirements are:

Note: I deleted all the comments here about mask wearing. Feel free to discuss the issue in the comments below, but I don't want this particular thread to be an ongoing discussion about masks and conspiracy theories. This thread is intended to be about which countries are open to tourism and entry requirements, etc.

Hi Gabriel. Glad to see you back in Europe and doing your thing.
May I ask, what proof did you provide to enter Greece? I have been fully vaccinated (Pfizer) but Canada, my home country, doesn't have a standard, internationally accepted "vaccine passport". Also, I hadn't heard from any sources that the U.S. has one either.
Did you just need to produce your 2 vaccine certificates? Or whatever they have in the U.S.? In Canada our vaccines are distributed and administered by our provincial governments not our federal government. Its still very confusing in Canada...lol.
      Thanks and enjoy!

@@donlee2053 The vaccine card they gave me when I got the shots did the trick. I don't think there's any other kind of proof at this point. Maybe they will create something more universal in the future.

Very nice video,if you are interested and still here in athens, you can visit the first cemetery, there are a lot of amazing statues there and tombs of famous greek people, for me its worth a visit and its near the central athens (really close to Panathenaic Stadium), another place I would like to visit and I suggest to others to visit too is the commonwealth cemetry (WW2 cemetry for the ally troops that gave their lives for greece!) Its a really interesting place too.
I know Athens isnt great and it can be really ugly and depressing some times but it has a lot of little things that makes it beautiful..

@@GabrielTravelerVideosGabriel I love your videos but calling Athens mundane is not the most accurate way to describe the city!! Of course in terms of architecture it cant compete to the likes of Rome, Paris or Prague, however in terms of world class museums, exhibitions, restaurants, and cultural life in general its probably amongst the very top of European cities. And dont forget that you can grab a Tram from the very centre and find yourself in some very beautiful beaches in no time. Give yourself the chance to explore Athens a bit more without the very 90's stereotypes of "Athens is ugly, just escape to the Islands", and the city will not dissapoint!!Have a fantastic time in Greece Gabriel!!

I know I've recommended it before but the Charles Schwab visa card is the way to go!
No monthly / annual fees and all possibly atm fees are reimbursed.
I've been using the card on my travels since 2017 and never looked back.

Gabriel, this time if you can visit Vikos Canyon, Zagoroxoria, Metsovo, take the dragon lake hike on the Epirus mountain range, Parga is a nice place to.

Great video Gabe. If you return through Athens, I highly suggest a local dairy/bakery place for breakfast called "Stani." They do a sheeps milk yogurt with honey and walnuts that is one of the best things I have ever had.

@@GabrielTravelerVideos Enroute back to Montana for the summer, trying to land a job in Antarctica next season. If that doesn't plan out I'll be heading to Turkey I think.
