We took a private tour with Sebastian in Athens in October. It was one of the top highlights of our 2 week trip through Italy, Greece, and Malta. Our time with him felt like hanging out with an old friend. He ordered us a phenomenal lunch of traditional cuisine and took us on an amazing walking tour full of beautiful sights. He provided us with a ton of information about the history of Greece and Athens, as well as all the things we were seeing on our journey. He even helped us out with some tips for the next day in Mykonos. We came to Athens on a cruise and, over the course of our trip, did other tours through the cruise line. Booking this tour privately with Sebastian was a far better choice than the excursions offered by the ship. We had great food, got awesome photos, avoided most crowds, and had an amazing time! Sebastian was responsive, easygoing, relatable, super knowledgeable, and really fun to hang out with. It was an invaluable experience that we will always remember fondly.

We were just in Plaka last Sunday, I think some of the places you showed we walked at night, bustling with diners and people shopping and having a blast, it was awesome, I have been watching your videos before we went to Greece esp in Santorini where I followed exactly your guide how to find the blue domes and other things, and the rental car you recommended was great, picked it up from Port in Fira. Thanks for these videos! Very Very Very helpful, we had a GREAT AMAZING TIME, 2 weeks in Greece, lotsof walking and climbing and views are just out of this world LOL...we will be back!!!

Yes, I agree the most competent and consistent travel guide channel. Fantastic and many thanks for the hard work. If possible, frightend by the feedback from many tourists I am considering renting an e bike rather then a car. It would be great if you could tell us more about touring the islands this way?

Apart from Agistri, Aigina and Hydra, I wouldnt recommend renting (e)bikes in Greece. Super hilly, speedy drivers, harsh sun ... not great.

    This video is FANTASTIC!!!
I just got back from Athens and I followed it religiously and to the letter. I did not deviate one bit from it (yes, even "robbery alley" :D ) and I got a WONDERFUL Plaka experience, seeing all the sights! for the record, the bouganville tree is pretty even when it's not violet : )
I also like the format of the video - the entire walk without edits, but speeding up through most of it. I think it's the best compromise, as good as walking videos are, one has hardly time to watch 50 minutes of someone walking. The format of unedited walk / speeding up parts is ideal. Oh, and I did it in the morning on a sunny day - Plaka was basically desert and I have postcard-like photos of Anafiotika.
So thank you very very much for helping me out in having a PERFECT Plaka experience! you're the man!!!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I have watched just about all of your videos and they have helped me so much in preparing for our upcoming trip to Greece! Currently obsessed with your channel! If you have the opportunity, I would love videos on other islands like Mykonos and Crete! Especially Mykonos because all the videos I have found are just about party party party, but I’m sure there is more to the island! But seriously great channel and videos!!

You do not navigate the Plaka, the Plaka navigates you. Just walk. Let your eyes and heart be you GPS. You do not walk the Plaka. You do not tour the Plaka. You slowly meander. You slowly explore.

You mentioned Plaka places that have music. Have you ever done or will you consider to do a video on places if someone wants to go have dinner other than lPaka, where you can listen to live Laika or Bouzouki music? Or maybe even an Ouzeri? I'll be in Athens next year and I love Greek Music from the 60' 70's and 80's . Efkaristo poli

Funny story, i had one night of exploring and wandered off into Plaka. Came across Mnisikleous by accident and was totally mesmerized by the stairs just lined up with seatings from restaurants and thought i would be nice to have dinner at on of the restaurants here the next night. It was my mistake not taking note of where this exact street is because i never found it again the next day.

I'm going to try and follow this when we are in Athens next month. I wanted to book you but my husband took so long to agree that the date we are available is now grayed out on your calendar. I'm sad. I contacted you a few months ago. You had a very professional auto-reply to acknowledge my email as you "out of office" and then you wrote me a few weeks later. I just want to share how professional and helpful your emails were to anyone thinking of booking a tour with you.
