This is the #2 airport in the world! It's officially called the Tokyo International Airport, but so many people call it Haneda that they were just kinda like "welp, I guess we're Haneda now." I'm not joking, that's what they told us.
my boyfriend and I are at 10:45 in the background!! I'm in the pink coat with the blue carry on and my boyfriend is in the green/grey jacket!! so cool. haha.
andriup How do you know what we did? You only see us for 1/2 second before we're cut out lol. for the record my boyfriend freaked out and waved and called out to them haha, and later on, after we ran into them again, right after the cut in the video. Rachel said hi to us again. Sorry for freaking out and possibly bothering you guys btw, we were too excited haha. we were having a bad day because I had to go home temporarily, but seeing you two brightened up the day!
I choose Haneda whenever I can as long as the ticket price is not too expensive. With Narita, not only is it far from Tokyo, but the train to Tokyo may cost around $30 so you want to take that into account.
Yes, and the train ride from NRT to Tokyo is sooooooooooooooooo slow!!!!! It takes an hour. I've only flown to Narita once and never again will I fly there. lol. Haneda is the best! And then the almost 4 hour Shinkansen ride to my girlfriend's town. :(
I'm going back to Japan from April 1 to 15 and I deliberately chose hnd over nrt because the last time i went i had a lot of fun just inside the airport itself haha
Am I the only one who thinks Rachel looks like a human-Japanese fox spirit because of her hair and facial features? Haha 🦊 Edit: I mean this as a compliment:)

I agree with you 100%. Airports especially the internationals Ines have this vibe that's really intriguing; people from different parts of that country, other countries going on leaving a lot back &a looking forward to getting so much more. And then there is you yourself, endlessly going about what that airport has to offer, oh wait , is there Wifi available, oh awesome, wish I was going to that Reykjavik flight as well :P, oooo flight delayed, awesome I will walk around and what food court has to offer....etc It's silly that I wrote such a long comment, I really love airports and airplanes even more 🤷🏻♂️🙂
There’s also an AMAZING balcony thing where you can walk around and see the entire view of Tokyo. I know I’m like 2 years late but I went to Tokyo in May 2017 and found out about all this stuff and I was so excited. I wish I knew of this video then, I would’ve looked for your cute tag!
Flight simulator....I did this for tech and I FAILED SO BADLY like omg every little move sends your plane doing cartwheels and crashing in the middle of the ocean. And when we have to follow a plane, I loose it in two minutes....well that's how I know I'm not gonna be a pilot

This looks like two amazing trips to me. First Trip: - Fly into Haneda Airport and explore Tokyo. - Go over and explore areas around Osaka/Kyoto/Nagoya and eventually fly out of Chubu Centrair International Airport. - Arrive at Incheon International Airport. Explore Seoul and neighbouring areas. - Fly from Incheon to Hong Kong International Airport. Explore Hong Kong, Macau, and maybe Guangzhou (if you have the visa). - Fly from Hong Kong to Changi Airport Singapore. Enjoy your time around Singapore and then fly home.
Second Trip: - Fly into Heathrow Airport in London. Explore the UK. - Fly over to Frankfurt. Take a roadtrip up through Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, and back down to Frankfurt. - Fly to Munich International Airport. Go down to Füssen, make your way through the Alps and over to Zurich. - Fly from Zurich International Airport over to Hamad International Airport. Spend time in Doha and then travel to Dubai while you're there. - Leave from Doha and go home.
I'm flying to Haneda in October for my first trip to japan! It's a late flight though so hopefully they have some cool stuff open a bit later at night whilst i wait for the trains to start running again in the morning eeep
Thank you Rachel and Jun for the wonderful experience your video provided! Finally going to Japan, like I've wanted to for years! I'll be spending quite a bit of time in this airport especially so I'm really excited. I love all of the videos both of you put out and have been bingeing in preperation of going haha.
Wow, beautiful place, with lots of cool stuff! The airports I've been to all only had one overpriced shop, where you could get food and reading material. =/

A great vlog guys! Amazing that Haneda officials contacted you to do this. I much prefer flying out of Haneda than Narita when gong back home to Toronto Canada. Some amazing things to do in the airport. Thanks for showing us ( even though I have raced the cars...lol ...and yes Rachel I lost too....lol)
Jun: “Rachel, I want this vase so bad..” Haha! That would be my reaction too, not gonna think twice about it i would definitely buy that Jiji vase! Ghibli stuff are the best!
Omg the scene with Rachel as the pilot was sooo freakin hilarious!! Im dying right now 😂😂. And when Jun was in the cockpit like omg 😂 I'm watching this while at the gym and I'm trying to hold back laughter cuz I don't want ppl to think I'm weird lol 😅😂
Wowsa! And here I thought the Atlanta airport was full of surprises! I've been watching lots of your videos, this is the first one of I have commented on. First of all, you two are so adorable. Secondly, I am really enjoying learning about Japan through your eyes and experiences. I've even tried my hand at making ramen and bought some matcha blendy sticks. Keep up the fun videos!
I've been to Japan last June and it was like SUPER FUN, and when my mom said when my little sister is older we can go to Japan every year and i'm super excited about it! Oh and sadly i went to Narita and not Haneda ;-;
i was here a couple of weeks ago and had no idea about this omg the entire time i was there i was thinking about how bare and boring it was ah if only i knew there was multiple floors
Can the evangelists take their judgements and perceived soul-war elsewhere? This is quite literally a video about an airport. Not about your God, your religion or converting someone (Jun). Jun's soul, believe it or not, is not some kind of object up for grabs that goes to highest bidder or shoutiest commenter with a bunch of likes. He is a human being, not some rope in a religious tug-of-war. Further, can we not disrespect Jun by reducing this entire video down to whether he believes in a God or not? Disrespect and rudeness, even claimed 'in the name of God', is still disrespectful and rude, something created and perpetuated by man. Can we please redirect back to, say, how awesome this airport is and how much effort went into showing us how great it is? Rachel and Jun worked really hard to bring this content to us and it does their effort a disservice by squabbling over one tiny side comment.
"So where did you go in Japan?"
"Tokyo."
"Yeah, but where in Tokyo?"
"Just Tokyo. I never made it out of the airport."

I was there September last year and was impressed by what they did to the airport. This video makes me homesick.

@@chitentoppachitentoppa4680 Did you find it? :O It has been a year XD
Cecillie Nelson gotta agree all these god comments are annoying
And he was making a joke, so fragile.
Cecillie Nelson yeah. Not EVERYONE believes in God. But you should stop giving people SHITS for that. It’s their choice.
you're basically the only religious comment i've seen in this comment section, how do u feel
@@borklynn Tf? Dig deeper man.
This cements it for me. Japan is amazing, and everyone would be happier if other places took notes.
You guys make it sooo entertaining
