Yea it is awkwardly cute...I met my Japanese friend at University and we both really liked each other. Our interactions felt very anime/manga like...it was weird yet cool. Anyway, we didn't actually get together because he had to go back. I mean we never brought that possibility up; but I think that was because we both were thinking the same thing. For years we both didn't date and I was trying to save to visit. Now he is engaged...which oddly happened after I finally started dating someone. As long as he is doing what he really wants it is fine...and I know we can stay friends and still hang out when I visit even though we probably still like each other a lot. That's life I suppose. haha

We dated for 2.5 wks...he returned to his US Army base in Germany and we wrote letters every day and sent a 30 minute Cassette tape once a week to each other. We married 10 months later....and were married for almost 29 yrs when he suddenly passed away.

This was such a neat story and reminds me so much of the way I fell in love with my wife. I met her at a church picnic while I was in the US Navy stationed in her home town for training . Once I was introduced to her I couldn't eat, sleep, or think until I asked her out, and even then I had trouble concentrating about anything. I had NEVER felt that way about anyone EVER. Fortunately she agreed to marry me and now its 38 years later!

I have lived in the US for 15 years and my english is still super horrible. I moved from France, and I have such a strong accent (even after 15 years) that people who aren’t used to me, have difficulty understanding what I say. That’s why I hated public speaking in College.

A lot of people remember the little things like that. When I was with my ex, she was surprised that I always remembered exactly what food she ordered at the restaurant the first time we met. You just kind of remember the details of the moment you met someone you fell in love with. She has very pretty hair. I'm thinking it's colored, though. My own hair is naturally strawberry blonde; I have never dyed my hair in my life but I think Rachel colors hers.
I am editing this as I found a video Rachel made in which she said she has NEVER dyed her hair. So her beautiful hair color is 100% natural; as is my own. Mine is more "gold" in color (and shines like gold in the sunlight) and not as bright. But I also have never colored my hair.
You will also notice that in some videos, she is wearing blue contacts. It's obvious that those are contacts as you can see the brown near her pupils; pretty common when wearing colored contacts. I think she has brown eyes (a very pretty color) and red hair BUT I think her hue is not as "bright" as it's shown in the videos. I think that's colored. I could be wrong; I also don't see any "dark roots". In any case, she's a very pretty girl. Didn't get the freckles that so many of us redheads are "blessed" with. LOL

This is how I and all of my girlfriends have always talked about anyone we've been interested in or involved with. You gotta hit all of the important quotes and dialogue, possibly-significant looks and interactions, amount of time spent, etc so you can properly interpret the emotional landscape of what's going on (or went on) and act accordingly.
