Column size 9/15 with 6 Rods(16mm 4bars and 12mm 2bars with 8mm rings @6inch) and distance between two columns is 15.8feet. two rooms, each 12feet/15.8feet. Footing 6.5feet depth width 4x4, with 1feet 40mm and 2.5feet 20mm. Is this good for g+2 residential building?
For G+2 building. 1. Column size 10 inches ×12 inches. 2. Steel rod used - 6 Nos : four 16mm and two 12 mm 3. Total 12 columns On one side, column distance is 17 feet. Is it safe??
Can we know from you, the load bearing of our existing Residential structure, to go for further floors, at professional consultation. Then how to communicate, please. Regards.
Thanks a lot o was looking for this for a long time but didn't find much info. The span I have is 22 ft. Columns 9*14inches, 4 bars16mm and 2 bars 12 mm door/lintel beam is 6inches and the roof beam is 12 inches deep 16mm bars. Will it be sufficient?
Sir, If we have four steel rods on the bottom of the beam and three steel rods in the column to tie off to how is it possible to tie the two middle rods in the beam to one middle rod in the column? I'm confused.
Sir My newly constructed house have one of the beam of length of 5.2 m (16.5 ft) and one secondary beam is tested on it. It is 230×300mm but we used 4 no of steel bars of 16 mm at bottom and 2 nos of 16 mm + 1 no of 12 mm at top. So ll it sustain to that amount of load for longer period or developed crack??? As I see many engineers recommend more than 450 mm deep beam.
I have one doubt , In your previous video you say As per Indian standard min depth of beam is d/16 = 19/16= 1.2 ft but you say now 1 ft is enough . how !?
SIR I HAVE 16 feet span G+1.stroy, i have provide beam ( 9 inch *12 inch ) , with 16 mm 2 bar, and 12 mm 1 bar at bottom, and 2 bar of 12 mm at top with 8mm stirrups @150mm c/c spacing, is it safe?? Also column size -(9"*15")
Your beam steel is not correct for 19 ft span... Moreover depth of beam is also very less for 19 ft... It should be minimum 19 ft... Rest of the calculation and suggestions are well.
Nice lecturer🎉
Good video sir..more information 👌👌👌👌

Nice lecture, sir Explain Difference between Tie beam and plinth beam
Super explanation direct to core content
1 thing missed 😊
If the size of crank bar 19 fit what is the size of carnk position. What is the is the distribution size..
It is important as well.
For G+2 building.
1. Column size 10 inches ×12 inches.
2. Steel rod used - 6 Nos : four 16mm and two 12 mm
3. Total 12 columns
On one side, column distance is 17 feet.
Is it safe??
Steel volume should be 1-2% of RCC volume for beam. Calculate it

Thanks for the lesson what about if this G + 2 story with 5 ton of load
Good lecture
Thanks a lot o was looking for this for a long time but didn't find much info.
The span I have is 22 ft.
Columns 9*14inches, 4 bars16mm and 2 bars 12 mm door/lintel beam is 6inches and the roof beam is 12 inches deep 16mm bars. Will it be sufficient?
Excellent knowledge
6 nos of 16mm in beam (10X12) for 20 feet span.column (12x12) 4 nos 16mm &4 nos 12mm for single room .can we build g+2?
It's possible even I'm doing my own house with four 16 mm andtwo 12 mm in one biller size is 8/10
Is 12mm 5 bars, 16 mm 1 bar enough For 14 feet beam ( top 3 - 12mm, bottom 2 - 12mm and 1- 16 mm)??
What should be the height of building?
What should be size of beam and column and size of steel which is 7 meters and roof size and steel size G+3
can you use 16mm diameter bars in columns and 20mm in beams?
Will you show the analysis. Formula or thumb rule for column and footing design like beam depth formula l/20 for depth.
Sir, If we have four steel rods on the bottom of the beam and three steel rods in the column to tie off to how is it possible to tie the two middle rods in the beam to one middle rod in the column? I'm confused.
what is the thickness of footings?
How many crank bar we should use? I hope if u have video for framing on all type of soil

How about if we made column size 12x12 for G+2 residential house with steel rod of four 16mm and four 12mm?
Totally safe
Waiting for response too
L/20 for 19 feet span 285mm depth so safer side you have to take 230x 380
ACI code(Beam is. span× 0.75=beam depth)
G 1 G2 G3 means what? Does it mean 1floor 2floor
Sir u could not say top reiforcement which mm bar used in this video
Thank you for giving good information about construction building.
if the span btween 2 column is 16ft...and the building is G+1+2 than explain size of column and beam...
What will be the size of footing for same building if soil bearing capacity is 70kn/m2?
It is good decision to choose deep foundation than shallow foundation if you cam to know soil is till 70kn of bearing
please post a video for culvert reinforcement details and designs
Salam sir, does this can apply to 21 ft span?
Can you do your future video measurements in feet and inches.?
Baraka lahou fikkk
If I have 24 feet span and other side is 26 feet span for G plus 1 story home only, please reply
12x9'' beam isn't safe for 19-20 feet span in beam column structure. do stress analysis
Sir can it apply in normal residential building
And calculate the no. Of beams for 40 by 16 feet
I have one doubt ,
In your previous video you say As per Indian standard min depth of beam is d/16 = 19/16= 1.2 ft but you say now 1 ft is enough . how !?
L/20
Sir is it OK to put 4 Steel rod of 16mm on top and 4 on bottom of 17.5 feet long beam
Super bro
Thanks For Teaching Sir
Need plinth beam design
maximum span between columns
supper sir, Thank you very much
SIR I HAVE 16 feet span G+1.stroy, i have provide beam ( 9 inch *12 inch ) , with 16 mm 2 bar, and 12 mm 1 bar at bottom, and 2 bar of 12 mm at top with 8mm stirrups @150mm c/c spacing, is it safe?? Also column size -(9"*15")
absolutely save for G+1
Can you explain that what is column and beam size with how many steel used with size
Also length and width distance of each column
Do pakistan and india have the same engineering principles for rcc construction .
Dear All over the world is same principles.
Even here in GCC countries are same principles.
@@MehrbanRana thanks .
18fit distance mi kon sa colum lgta hi
36/60 what is the size of the pillar snd besm
Very nice explaination but not for the poor peaple it's too much and it will be very expensive less size column beam can biuld G+2
If column to column clear span 19', i want provide 6 nos 12mm bar in column and in beam 16mm 4nos bar, any problem plz solve it
Plz any comment
