.is there specific lapping location for crank bar... like this video 20ft apart id qe use crank bar then 20ft long rebar could be a little bit short...
Do you still need stirrups close together near the ends even if you have crank bars? Can you do one out of them or you have to do both close stirrups and crank bar?
1. Up to what length 2" spacing in stirup should be given? And after that what should be ideal spacing betwen two consecutive stirrups? 2. Open ends of stirrups should be placed whether on upper side or lower side?
Can you have the same number of bars and size of the beam for 7m distance between columns? without increasing beam width and depth putting into consideration bent up bar to L/4 for 7m, also stirrup details as you instructed
Good Morning and win today, Good illustration. is it possible to have a beam of 9. 90m at simple support without intermediate support. how is it designed. God bless you thanks
Sir, practically I asked the steel fixer to provide 135° in stirrups bending. But in the case of crank Bar (beam) he refused, the reason for that he told that in case of crank bars then it is impossible for us(the steel fixer) to pass the crank bars in the beam as the 135° stirrups provide resistance during arrangement of the crank bars. Now if this is the case then what to do Sir?
You can change steel fixers because its possible they were giving only shitt arguments for there own favour, & you should go for 90° Degree as well its up to you
Thanks for insight it is really helpful,Is the crank provided for all beams or long span only
Angle should be 135 degree for stirrups bending to counteracts during any deflection

Can such a beam support the weight of a room wall over it? If not, what kind of beam can carry the load of a 12' high, 9" thick wall??
It's monolithic structure. So big top moments near supports possible. Thats also a reason for crank bars.
You saved my day!
Million Thanks!
Nice video. For 16 feet span beam (10X15), can I use 4 straight bars at the top and 4 straight bars at the bottom instead of any cranked bar?
what is ideal spacing for stirups at ends and in the center 10 feet?
If we want to make 10 ft horizontal beam with one vertical beam, than how we use steel bar for the said horizontal beam. Please answer my question.
What's the plan .. it is for G+2 or above...?
God bless you wishing you all the best

This beam top tention zone lapping how.??
Thanks sir...💘
Will you please clear is the size of beam without concrete is same for all design
No beam size it not standard.
Thanks for the knowledge
Super information
Sir it is very interesting vdo.
I like it 👍 Fantastic and Suppper 👍
In this beam what steel is used is it 10mm Or 12 mm and can you tell size of the beam? Sir as well as column size and steel used...
"...especially for commercial buildings..." Distances between stirrups do not depend on whether or not the structure is for "commercial building" sir.
Great work well explained
Very informative. Please make more videos on site for practical explanation.
Also please discuss the loads and the resulting structural design.
Weldone, pls send the structural drawings for this particular video
We have use 6 bars. 2 bars 16mm and 1 12 mm in top and in bottom 3 bars of 12 mm. Is it good
Slab beam size is 9×12 and plinth beam. Size is 9×18
Nice information
Thank you! Helpful video 🙌
My Brother you are great

Sir can we provide two hidden beams in 20 by 20 hall with 20 mm and 16 mm bars?
Very nice

Big mistake in lapping area
Great job my friend
Very good explaining

thank you so much Engr.
Great Job
Awesome job mate
Hello sir was this a commercial building g+?
So much helping
Very insightful thank you
You really good

God bless you
thanks
Boss if coming like this mistake on inspection time its will be rectified or not
Sir for 26 feet between the two coloum is ok
very nice video.... thank u
Goog pm .Sir what are the sizes of the deformed bar and the stirrup you used in your illustration? Thank you
If the depth of slab is
Reply sir
Why not provided secondary beam?
Sir, do i need crank bar if i provided 4legged beam with 4 no. Of bars at top and bottom
Interesting vedio
Sir it is continous or simply supported beam
Kitne mm ki steel daali hai ye kyo nahi batya
Sir size of beam without slab in this video is...??

Nicely explained
Thanks for you showed some mistake in install rebar.
why not just add 4 whole lenght steel rods ! honest question!
Thank you so much Sir ☺️
Thanks alot

bhia, try not to repeat the conversation again and again. some where video is self explanatory, just hints required. anyway, good effort
What size rebar here?
Do you design this structure ?
Steel diameter please ?
Stirrup ?Hooks at bottom

Hook are bending with135°or not 90,*
Fine
Nice
Thank you Eng.
What a diameter of bar .
Beam ht 13 inch ?
I thought you are going to design beam according to load and do calculation
But you are just talking about parts of beam
How many stories
Continue beam should be in L by 3
