If they’re adding this, they gotta add the B-58. That thing is a beaut.
B-58 literally has a tail mounted *defensive* M61 Vulcan, in which a crew member can lock on to an enemy fighter on its tail, and the automated weapons system will calculate trajectory of enemy fighter. After locking on, all the gunner would have to do is press the trigger to *instantly obliterate* the bandit.

The yak38 is like an awkward drag car. It goes fast, it can lift off differently compared to other vehicles, it needs parachutes to slow down, but most importantly: it STEERS LIKE A BATTLESHIP

bombing everywhere and still has bomb to next match
gets murdered 2 minutes into the match before it can even chance course.
Also known as the TU-4 experience except it happens on downtiers as well.
Which is really annoying because i am a bomber player myself and these large strategic bombers are insanely fun to fly, but the 8.0 ones already get atomized, both by their tier and by their repair costs

The Tu-4 is fun tho ( if you've a lot of SL) , I spaded it 2 months ago and had a 2:1 k/d ratio, the only real threat to the Tu-4 are the F-89, Sea Hawks and it's repair cost but it's a really rewarding experience when you see the fool who dares approach you break his wings as soon as your 23mms sneeze on him. Can't say that about B-29s tho, American bombers desperately need a .50 cal buff...
why can't the snail give us some cool maps like that? Look how cool and relaxing is to play a game like that, instead of the current game state where when you're just retracting your landing gear and there's already Harriers and Su-7s rushing your airfield...
Snail does not want a lot of people to be having fun on a big map for long time as that will lock those people out of the free player pool waiting for new game, thus the wait queues will be longer. In other words our idea of fun gameplay is not something that Snails's statistics capture, and snails' devs only work with statistical to make game changes.

There was an interceptor version of the Yak-28 that carried missiles.
Fun fact Phly, they made a lot of different versions of the Yak-28 and one was made for anti air, maybe they'll add it later on.

It would be fun to see it being used as a Nuclear Delivery System but on the downside,it will be a huge target . There's no point in adding strategic bombers at BRs beyond 6.0 given the current state of the game,Gaijin should create a seperate gamemode for Tier III + bombers with factories ,military facilities etc that they could bomb whilst being attacked by AI fighters(maybe?), it would be a good use of their range and payload. Something like "Assault Bomber Arcade" or "Enduring Confrontation: Berlin/Tokyo/New York/London etc " (for realistic modes) . It would help bomber players farm SL and RP without being bitched at by the fighter planes...

Im currently at top tier ground but nowhere near top tier air and im looking at this map (the last one) and thinking, imagine if there was a gamemode where planes , ships ,helis and tanks (player controlled) were fighting there own separate battles on a huge map like that, every force has their objectives and they can also help eachother out while both teams have a HUGE pool of tickets or no tickets at all but they have to complete their objectives to win. Now that would be epic imo, instead of the old cap ABC and win.

This makes me excited. I've been wishing for cold war bombers for years (I know we have a few already but not the iconic ones). This makes the addition of the B-36, B-52, tu-95, avro vulcan, and handley page Victor all the more likely.

Bombers often found cargo planes or other bombers. It wasnt dogfighting but there many confirmed kills. Hence a good little cannon
