This aircraft has a successor with the same guns and an additional engine giving it 50% more thrust when necessary. I really hope we see the Aefer Ariete sometime soon.

now imagine when Gaijin decides to add the Sagittario's "little" brother, the Aerfer Ariete is the same as the Sagittario 2 but with a additional engine that makes it break the sound barrier (Mach 1.1 top speed), I can predict it will be a premium and that unlike the Sagittario they won't remove it's best ammo belts
It never had the APDS, Only the 30x170 had it not the 30x136 on the sagittario, the APDS was made 20 years after the sagittario.

@@SleepySkull1 those rounds weren't apds they were solid AP and the plan was for all jets armed with those guns to be capable of using it. Gaijin unhistorically has nerfed yet another italain vehicle because they grossly under tiered it.

@@Alex21610 most wheeled tank destroyers have a similar treatment. Centauro was the first one hence why so many people still hate it but pretty much everyone (other than USSR and Sweden) have one at this point at a similar BR with pretty much the same capabilities

He might have it easier in war thunder but that doesn't mean the same for other games, as for the ones he uploaded on his channel, he always has fun and takes the time to enjoy it. You're not forced to play the game, playing the game is a hobby, not a chore and if you treat it like it to get the vehicals you want, there is no way you wouldn't get mad.

The Hispano-Suiza HSS.825 30MM Cannon never enter serious producton for any aircraft, it was in a couple of Argentine prototypes, and also in a swiss proto. The HSS.831 is a AA Mounted version of this cannon that is only in use with el Ejercito Argentino papa

The crazy pen was from source of apds ammo used on similar but more advanced hispano suiza cannons, while i've seen ammo data only for the he for the hs825, even if it probably could have used the more advanced ammo.
So basically:
-It was powerful in air battles, but the thing that made it OP was it's ability to counter ground extremely well
-Gaijin takes the belts away and adds only HE with double the explosive
-Now it should be super broken in air battles and useless against ground targets

one plane I liked for this role at a higher tier was super mystere, has high pen 30mm, not as fast ofc but good ones. Those center fire rockets, and french bullpups or missiles.

People take this game seriously phly because you have everything unlocked and have nothing but fun. Everyone else has to earn everything by playing and war thunder is the most unrewarding game is existence. So yeah people are gonna take it seriously
People with the A-10 don't even need to shoot directly at the tanks, they can just burst into the air and those tanks will scatter
