Where did you get 2 years? This happened in one morning. On the Monday 11am, 3rd June. Underwater landslides occur along this shoreline about every 2-4 years. @@CrayonboxAviationAdventures well, I do apologize. When I first watched this there was zero audio. So, I heard no explanation of anything. The term landslide is used interchangeably with landslip. The difference between the two terms however is one of immediacy. Land slippage is used to describe continuous, slow, movement over a long period of time, whereas landslide is used to describe an instant event.

Earthquake shaking and other factors can also induce landslides underwater. These landslides are called submarine landslides. Submarine landslides sometimes cause tsunamis that damage coastal areas.
