The sound of a switchblade is like the sound of hitching a shotgun both are iconic
4:22 eargasm
and a garand ping
Also butterfly knives in movies
@@thing4826 I nutted my self 😢
All Switchblade's sound different
EVEN THE GRINCH HAS GOT A SWITCHBLADE !
He was probably going to use it kill his old tormentor.
An Italian one to fine switchblade for a movie
CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY the grinch is aloud a switchblade but British people arent
With a Kris blade no less hahaha
I’m deaddd
i like how switchblades, especially the italian stiletto ones, are almost always associated with villains. probably part of what makes them so cool to use.
That’s why they were made illegal in many countries and states in the first place.
Got & Frank B abalone scales and it is one of my favorite blades works flawless every time & very attractive.
The grinch growing up on the mean streets of whoville with a Switchblade 😂
i love how you included the full part of anchorman so i could hear,
"Brick, where did you get a hand grenade?"
-"I don't know." haha priceless.
As a knife collector, I approve this.
I the bet switch blades are illegal in California because their so popular in movies.
The Destroyer they are i live in californi and mostly every ganster got a knife like switchblades
They're legal, unless their blade is shorter than 2 inches.
Peter Andreev i believe you mean longer
The Destroyer mah nigga
I'll bet they're illegal because of all the liberal bullshit that seems to be rampant there. Only there can we see actors mishandling and glorifying guns on film then whining and crying about banning them after they've collected their paycheck. Expect knives to be any different?
3:33 best scene ever
4:24 hell ya
From "Second-Hand Lions". It's a pretty good show.
The old Italian stiletto (a' mulletta napulitan') is always the most iconic.
Oh yeah. Will always be😊
Switchblades I’m movies 2:00 Switch blades in movies when my parents walk in 2:06
Awesome -- there is also a switchblade used to nice effect in DIRTY HARRY.
4:50 best part 😂😂😂

Nexus V. U
yooo that shooting switchblade is cool wth
this is awesome!!!
There's two switchblades in an Eddie Murphy movie called I Spy from 2002. Both times used by Famke Janssen's character during interrogation scenes. The 1st time she pulls an AKC Concord on Eddie Murphy and cuts his belt (and threatens to cut off his penis), the second time she uses some sort of kriss swinguard, and does the same thing to Owen Wilson. Interestingly, one of the main plot points is a jet called the Switchblade which has wings that operate like a switchblade.
thank u
4:55 Tom Cruise in collateral is a Chris Reeve classic lefty Sebenza framelock. It’s a manual opening knife not an auto. Still cool videos you’ve put together tho.
Title sir?
@@hamburgerplz7281 Collateral is the name of the movie
Very nice I own a few of those..
Nice!
2:05 I think we all know where this is going.
A favorite for me is the Birthday cake scene in Luc Besson’s 1990 film NIKITA.
The rest of these are what people think switchblades are like, but 5:28 is how they really are
Auto knives are what people call those, switchblade is generally used for stiletto styles, all are correct.
@@rosecitystud1908 automatic and switchblade are the same thing by the way.
Lol no it’s not, ALL of them are “how they really are”. You’re not making any sense by lying about that nonsense right here as ALL switchblades shown in these movies in this video are ALL accurate. You don’t “fake” any one of them here. Just stop with your elitist nonsense, seriously!
@@Gadget-Walkmen What I meant is that most people who like switchblades aren't badass mobsters trying to stab you. They're just average people who like knives. No elitism here
@@batrachianbill9760 oh ok, THAT makes sense and is alot more clear here entirely so and I agree with that entirely.
Did somebody know the name of the music that plays in 0:45 ???
2:09 hentiiii
I know im a year late but sauce please?
I know I am 2 years late but can I have sauce?
MeZz Skate bruh it’s the cowboy bebop movie
@@badasslama3228 cowboy bebop the movie. The anime is actually a really good watch too tbh
@ 4:07 i might be mistaken but, is that the actor for Professor Stein in the DC TV shows?
the launching Nato was awesome
I’m sure you covered it but I’m trying to figure out the white handled switchblade from the scene in rebel without a cause where the hood slashes Deans tires. I’m thinking Mauro Mario picklock.
Hey Brick where ya get a hand grenade...i ..don’t know! 😂😂
1:22 Frank was on his shit long before Paddy's lmao
3:35 switch blades and butterfly knife
0:13 noooooo hes destroying the knife broooo, this is why we should always carry a multitool
Amen. It’d be one thing if it was a cheap knife but it was a microtech halo 2. Very nice and about $350 when they were still being made.
2:07 CHILLLL
4:51¡ qué elegancia la de Francia!
All the OTFs are microtechs 👌👌
Some are vintage french otf
"I'm gonna have to confiscate your pinkie!"
HUAH- HAUH- AHH!
That clip with Tom Cruise is from Collateral and there he got the Sebenza. Sebenza is a manual folder, not the switchblade
Wat's the one with the Anime at 2:05?
The back of the lower neck or the liver are to spots to try for amongst about 4 or five others.
What movie was the '' rick where'd you get a hand grenadine.'' From
Manny The one Anchorman
He said brick
5:11 that’s a ballistic knife, not a switch blade….
butterfly knives are considered a form of a switchblade and are illegal in California. So yeah....still counts.
@@techfrank2431it being illegal is irrelevant, they’re still switchblades as a ballistic knife!
what is the first knife guys?
5:57 oh no they got frank gallagher
0:09 that was a single action of knife
Props for Spartan. What about the most iconic in my time, The Outsiders fountain scene?
The grinch " yeahh"
The first knife is a microtech halo

1:18
That wasnt a switchblade in the Wrong Turn scene. It's just a pocket knife
whats the name of the movie at 4:44
Anchorman
William Burnette thank you
The knife in Collateral was a Sebenza, not a switchblade
I think switchblades are used to pick locks and to scare people
you forgot 2 movies
Somtimes they come back and 12 angry men

A SERBIAN FILM
jay k what’s the movie in that scene
Victor Montes rape scene
You made a balisong movie right ?
satisfying
Where is pay it forward?✌️
2:06 which movie?
@Aimfor1337 It's a Protech Godfather.
A lot of these knives are OTF (out the front) knives. Meaning the blade springs out of from inside the handle
Can some one put the name of the movies on the video
what does an animated cartoon doing in there?
In Collateral 14:54 That's NOT a switchblade, that's a Chris Reeve Sebenza. He just flicks it open.
Too bad nobody seems to know the difference between a switchblade and an automatic knife...or that the knife in Collateral wasn't a switchblade OR an automatic knife.
I thought 'automatic' was the broad technical term. Whereas 'switchblade' is the US slang, 'flick knife' is the British slang, 'cran d arret' is the French slang... So what is the difference you see?
@@nixonwasframed you're right.
Switchblade and automatic are the same thing. I'm sure you probably know this now after 9 years
Yes an Automatic knife applie's to any knife that can be opened under spring power
In Collateral Tom Cruise uses a Chris Reeve Sebenza
2:04 this one kinda sus but I’ll let it slide
The knife in collateral is a sebenza
2:03 What anime is that?
It's the Cowboy Bebop movie.
The anime is called Cowboy Bebop.
4:20 what's the movie ?
Second hand lions
The Grinch carved roast beef with a switch blade? 😂
Yep..with a Kris style blade at that
which movie is 1:50 ?
@oAROWANAo one of my favorites.
Wheres Battle Royale and American Psycho? Those both came out in 2000 and had switchblades? :(
