You elevate a man to the status of a god , but he wasn't a.god. He was.a.drug addict , alcoholic pedophile. Don't say he wasn't a pedophile because it's a proven fact that he always toured with three 14 to 15 year old girls who were always ready for pillow fights , kissing and cuddling. He was well known for liking his girls very young. His marriage ended with a rape. So , not a god., just a very flawed human being.

I’m blessed and honored that God loaned this Angel to us and I got to hear his amazing voice.
My mom got to meet him when he came to Hawaii. She had a picture with him that my dad was jealous of so he cut it up. She said Elvis was kind and gentle when they spoke.

His memphis true friends told Elvis u can let us go n take care of urself. Elvis was grown up man, he could fire that old man, his mgr Colonel Parker. IElvis wanted that way. He needed more drugs for performing this stupid concert. His health got so bad yet he was taking more to keep it going. Noone wants to see his after 1974 concerts. He looked so ill n was about to fall on stages with heavy sweating.

Elvis last performance was 5 nights after this on June 26th 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the VERY last performance he REALLY gave his all, (it's great to hear on double vinyl record - very authentic) and the show was 'longer' than any other concert he performed in his last year. (1977)♥

"KING" of Rock & Roll Harmonica. There is only one person in the world that has "MUSIC" in his heart and soul like Elvis .....and that is the very reason I am a very special harmonica player that will never be matched, nor copied......Sorry I waited until I was 80 to let the world know about my style of playing a harmonica.....I do have an Elvis song on my "TH-cam" channel that is no ery good...but...I never head this song in my whole life. I listened to this song and recorded it on my second playing of this song ever .....hope you enjoy and subscribe..."hit the bell".....and stay tuned to my channel until you have heard me play every one of Elvis' 550 songs....And don't be afraid to give me a thumbs down if you don't like my style or you think I messed up Elvis' song. "Enjoy!!!!"

No words can describe the beauty of that voice & how it affected millions of fans. This performance also speaks to the beauty of his soul & the man himself! His crooked little smile may have been
one of his trademarks., but it was
genuine. He shared it with us during this amazing song at a time when
some folks would have written him off.He loved sharing his gift with his fans right up until the very end
when he showed the world that no matter what ,he never lost his crown! No performer has

With so many new negative comments here, I feel compelled to post again................
To those here who have such negative comments I ask, 'Are you perfect?' I thought that was reserved for Jesus! Elvis knew he was not perfect.
Quote 'Christ is King. I am just an entertainer.' Elvis Presley
This man changed the course of American music, was known throughout the world by only his first name and was a legend in his own time. What have YOU done for the world?
To those who insult his appearance in the end....Let us wait until you are older and ill...Send us a photo. In his prime gorgeous was an understatement. What do YOU look like?
Drugs....'The man had to take drugs to stay awake and drugs to go to sleep...No performer ever had the schedule that he did. Yes, the drugs got the better of him and he was not able to get past it. He was human. This had nothing to do with his talent, his kindness to others or his contribution to the world.
I am aghast at those here with horrible comments such as 'Elvis is not in Heaven'. You certainly are no Christian with such a comment. 'Judge Not'!
As for those who say he was not talented.....I believe the following people know a bit more than you!
Bruce Springsteen:"It was like he came along and whispered some dream in everybody's ear, and somehow we all dreamed it.
Bob Dylan:"Hearing him for the first time was like busting out of jail.",
B.B. King:"I remember Elvis as a young man hanging around the Sun Studios. Even then, I knew this kid had a tremendous talent. He was a dynamic young boy. His phraseology, his way of looking at a song, was as unique as Sinatra's. I was a tremendous fan, and had Elvis lived, there would have been no end to his inventiveness.",
John Lennon: "Nothing really affected me until I heard Elvis. If there hadn't been an Elvis, there wouldn't have been a Beatles.",
Mick Jagger: ‘He was a unique artist - an original in an area of imitators.’
Elton John: ‘It was Elvis that got me interested in music. I’ve been an Elvis fan since I was a kid. Ask anyone. If it hadn’t been for Elvis, I don’t know where popular music would be. He was the one that started it all off, and he was definitely the start of it for me.’
Rod Stewart “Elvis was the king. No doubt about it. People like myself, Mick Jagger and all the others only followed in his footsteps.”
John Lennon “Before Elvis, there was nothing.”
James Bown“ I wasn’t just a fan, I was his brother. He said I was good and I said he was good; we never argued about that. Elvis was a hard worker, dedicated, and God loved him. Last time I saw him was at Graceland. We sang Old Blind Barnabus together, a gospel song. I love him and hope to see him in heaven. There’ll never be another like that soul brother."
Carl Perkins This boy had everything. He had the looks, the moves, the manager, and the talent. And he didn’t look like Mr. Ed like a lot of the rest of us did. In the way he looked, way he talked, way he acted - he really was different.”
Dick Clark “It’s rare when an artist’s talent can touch an entire generation of people. It’s even rarer when that same influence affects several generations. Elvis made an imprint on the world of pop music unequaled by any other single performer.”
Not only was he gorgeous beyond belief, the ultimate talent and kind to others...the man could act. Look at some of his first movies, before Colonel Parker and Hal Wallis decided that his musicals were more money in their greedy pockets.
Quote by Walter Matthau who starred in King Creole with him....“He was an instinctive actor...He was quite bright...he was very intelligent...He was not a punk. He was very elegant, sedate, and refined, and sophisticated.”
Elvis' music was with me through every celebration and heartache of my life.
His voice not only gave me joy, but was there to ease the pain of sadness.
Anyone who listens to this video and is not moved, has huge issues.
Until the end he still had the beautiful voice and was giving his all to us, when he was so very ill.
    God Bless you Elvis.
You gave it all for we the public....and those of us who traveled the years with you, have you in our hearts forever.
    RIP Elvis

Love your detailed, beautiful post. Also remember QUEEN loved him. Freddie Mercury wrote "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" as a sort of homage to Elvis 😊
