Not boring at all. I'm gonna clean my carb tonight in preparation for the new main jet coming in the mail. This is (hopefully) the last piece I need to do before my BBK rebuild is complete. Thanks for the content!

Good job bro, I'm going to give you a little tip on how to keep those battery nuts in place so it is easy to tighten them down. Just cut a small piece of fuel line about 1/4 inch or so, and stick it underneath the nut to hold it in place. Then when you have to remove the battery again they will stay in place until you have to re-install the battery. Trust me on this one.

@@RollingWrench I just drove 90 miles to go buy a 2009 Kymco Sting 50cc 2 stroke. I bought it for 200 dollars not running . It has 1,500 miles on it. I checked it for compression and spark, and it has both. I got it running with 1 hour after i got home. Man, what a awesome scooter ( 2 - Stroke ). Now me being the kinda guy that don't like running stock crap, i did some window ports on the piston and some cylinder porting, milled the head 20 thous. re cut the squish dome on the head. I cut the stock silencer off and welded one of my old Suzuki RM-125 silencers back on it. This scooter flat out rips. It buries the speedo at 50 and most likely is doing close to 60mph. I will take some video of it in action and send it to you. Do you by chance have any tips on these Kymco 50cc 2 strokes.....2 heads are always better then one. ( I used to be Jeff "Chicken " Matiasevich personal mechanic back in 89-93. You may have heard of him...if not just google his name. I also used to race motocross and was no slouch. I think there may be some videos of me on you tube. But i would like to pick your brain on these scooters if you don't mind? My younger brother Tommy the Bomber Bonacci is also a 6 time pro world champion jet ski racer. I build all his motors. He owns Bomber Eyewear ( floating sun and safety glasses.) . Shoot me your address and i will send you a couple pairs of safety and sunglasses no charge ( it is my gift to you ) I also do motorcycle and jet ski mobile repair on the side....so we have a lot of the skills that we like to share with others. If you want to give me a call 714 724-4080 Johnny or just e-mail me. Bonacci151@gmail.com

actually no, it isn't boring to me, because i bought a non-running yamaha vino125 two years ago, it hadn't run in four years. Hubby & i cleaned the carb, got a new battery, changed the oil, put a new back tire on it, checked the brake fluid on it, ect....but the carb fell apart & wouldn't work right, so we ended up having to buy a new carb, but it didn't cost that much really/60/70 dollars i think & presto chango, it ran & it's been running ever since !!!! (oh, he also cleaned the gas tank & got all the rust out of it, we tried to buy a new gas tank that was for a 50cc, but it wouldn't fit, so we soaked it in vinegar overnight & then once it was cleaned & dried, he sealed the gas tank, he also used a wire brush on the gas tank/he had to improvise)...ty for the video !! (p.s. he did clean both jets, but it wouldn't still run)we also used 'sea foam' too, it didn't work either
