That tractor looks so much better with the wide tracks set on the 120 inch spacing compared to the more commonly seen narrower spacing.
Good stuff 👍👍👍
Nice seeing it folding into the transport position at the end...
I don’t know how anybody can afford this equipment, but it really is incredible and I know it would be a joy to drive.
Really cool to see this run. A couple weeks ago I found one ready to go in a neighboring field at night. It was brand new and huge for my area...very impressive.
That thing is sweet! Keep up the great, outstanding work!
Thank you for watching.
I'll be down in western Kentucky in July Jason... We are staying at land between the lakes for a week.... I'll be watching for big equipment while I'm down that way.
Thank you jason for this video
It's hard to believe they make field cultivate 60 foot wide and 36 row corn planter technology has come a long way since the 4 row corn planter.
There's actually 48 row 30in planters now.
I grew up pulling 60 foot wide spring tooth and rod weeders in the 80s. We also had a 60 foot wide John Deere grain drill on the farm. We pulled it all with a John Deere 8630 putting out around 430 hp, and a John Deere 8640 putting out around 475 hp.
Now that's getting the job done, yeah!!
👍👍
Beautiful tillage team. So cool to run that all day. Awesome video Jason👍🏻👍🏻.
It covers the ground fast. 👍👍
Awesome video. Love watching that big equipment at work.
It sure covers the acres in a hurry. 👍👍
Super equipment 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Now that’s coving ground, awesome 👍👍👍.
It sure does it fast.
I have to chuckle at the responses you get from the younger operators during your cab rides. Ho-hum, yeah it’s really great,(yawn)…. Give those young guys an 830 John Deere with a 20 foot wide offset disc for a week. Maybe a fender mounted umbrella for creature comfort… Then put them in a new 600+ horse tractor with all the bells and whistles and see how excited they are..😂
We have had one for 3 years now. Love it. Have the true set option and that works great.
It’s a nice set up. What tractor do you run yours with ?
9460R John Deere
We have the 52’6” model
Epic!
This is why I’m a fan of this channel 💪
Thank you for watching. It was a fun day in the field.
great video!
That awesome pice of equipment.
Great tillage team. Thank you for watching.
Impressive tillage team👍😁 very nice👍👍
I filmed it in a 50 acre field and it completed the entire field and just under an hour. It really gets the acres covered.
Awesome Video Buddy!!
Big Green. It was a fun day in the field filming it.
Do they use the GPS to match the corn planter over the subsoiler shanks? Breaking the compaction in the root zone so the corn can reach down for moisture makes sense to me.
Amazing brother
Thank you for watching.
Super💯video
Thank you for watching James.
You can definitely cover some acres with that setup
This was filmed in a 50 acre field. Knocked it out in an hour.
Nice Vid!
Thank you for watching.
Sure Is something to have a 60' cultivator
It gets tillage done in a hurry.
Oh yea especially with 9RX 640 to pull it
Great video and impressive machines, but the ballast is not necessary for the 9RX for this type of high speed job.
That's a good lookn tractor.
The bold flag decals have made the new 9RX tractors stand out.
My brother drove a 4320 with duals and it pulled a 21' field cultivator.
Very nice set up. Great tractor.
Great. Until it comes to changing the points / sweeps / tines
👏👏👍👍👌👌🚜🚜
Thank you Paulo 👍
We have a case ih tigermate but ive seen a wil rich and like way its built even more
The Tigermate is a good field cultivator. I had a chance to run one last week on a 4650. The Wil-Rich is heavy duty. I have a video on the 55 ft model at th-cam.com/video/Vw4IZs5eanM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rFbiA6tOaw5OeqXq
@@bigtractorpower yea, the tigermate does very well, and fast, easy to maintain also. If you were going to buy a field cultivator BTP, what would you get ?
That field cultivator looks tall.
Just over 16ft.
🚜🚜
Thank you for watching Bob.
How wide you want your tractor
Um… 2 zip codes please
Hello! Whole lot of cultivation for each pass!
It’s a near tillage team to watch.
@@bigtractorpower 👌
Non farmer here. Why use the field cultivator vs a high speed disc?
High speed disc is more for sizing the trash and smoothing out ruts, not burying the trash...Field cultivator digs out weeds by the roots, does more weed and trash burying,, and also smooths out the field leaving it more black...It will NOT size the trash and break up clods as the disc does.
How many acres a hour did he say he could do?
He can cover 50 acres an hour. This field that I filmed the tractor in was exactly 50 acres and he knocked it out and just under an hour. He mentioned that he was able to cover 750 acres in a day of open running. He was out in a field that was just under 800 acres. So he had non stop running for 15 hours.
I run a 43'6" JD 2680H high speed disc over the corn stalks in the fall , NH3 applied in the spring with an 18 knife applicator, field cultivated with a Case IH 45' field cultivator, Plant with JD 1775nt 16 row corn planter. Pull everything with a JD 9470R except planter, which I use a JD 8R 310
Great farming and line up. Thank you for sharing.
They can't build wider plows than 60 to 70ft The transport width and heigh5 would be too wide
These kind of speeds with this much horsepower and I'll bet you the field cultivator will have cracked factory welds all over it. I've owned many and know for a fact JD does not make their equipment strong enough to handle high speed nor high horsepower. But they sure charge like they do.Proof is also at farm machinery sales with these cultivators. The very back longitudal beams where they are welded at the last beam running the width always cracks.
Can’t vouch for the new stuff but we had a 2310 mulch finisher for nearly 15 years and that thing was rock solid.
@@Beyonder8335it's weird, he has a Deere tractor as his photo but then trashs Deere for something that makes no sense so I would just let it go.
Farmers prolly pay because feel its worth it. Not perfect not just tax deduction.
@@chadjustice8560Ok so what?
They would be Better Off running a Soil Finisher with that much Residue, especially if they run 1/3-1/2 of their Acres with Wheat & DC Soybeans.
People don’t realize How Much Horsepower Field Cultivators & Soil Finisher Require, especially when running them Deep. That Cultivator will STOP that Tractor in its Tracks if ran Deep Enough.
I wonder how they ever became a successful multi generational farm without you telling them what to do. Why in the fuck would you want run a a field cultivator so deep that it would kill the tractor…especially in front of the planter. 🤡
@@gregjames5070 I’ll tell you exactly how they got to be a Successful Multi Generation Farm is that they OUTBID Neighbors on Cash Rent and Roll Machinery every COUPLE of Years and NEVER OWN it. That’s how. Or Option B is that they are a Trust Fund Farm and everything is Paid for in Cash & Tax Writeoffs.
I’ve been around the Game Long Enough in Central IL. Sorry Kiddo! 🫏
You didn’t answer my question…how did they ever do all that without you telling them what to do?

I wonder if you might know the hydraulic fluid capacity ofthe 9R to fold andunfold the 6o foot cultivator as well as run the tractor itself. Its a great video.
same!💯💯❤❤
