Reese i appreciate all the time and effort you put into producing these videos imo the best farming videos on TH-cam 👍
With Dennis proudly wearing his Director shirt, we the audience, fully expect a special edition Ivers Farms 4th of July episode 🎆😄
That Kendall Johnson aka farmer Johnson posted a video of a good fix for the wing wheels bolts on that 2160 bean planter you got so it can’t slop around and break those bolts
❤❤❤
We love all you do to put out great content and feeding the world.
Thanks to Reese and Dennis for explaining the intricate controls for the planters. Quite a bit different than I remember 40 years ago.
47 minutes in, I am now watching my favorite family of the Great American Midwest. I'm viewer #1977 from Barbados 🇧🇧 in Caribbean for those who didn't know where that was.
Dennis, Reese, thanks for the entertainment. I could watch you guys for hours.
That drone shot of the turn was great. Thanks for that.
Reese
Appreciate the fact that you can get by with just a few hours of sleep once in a while! Awesome video my friend. God Bless You
Wow, you are dialed in now. I am so glad that planting is going well for you. Praying that God will send the rainfall this Summer for a great harvest. 🙏
Man it looks like they are just flying with those planters.!
Love that banjo music keep it up! Our corn here in Texas is shoulder high but we’ve had close to 20 inches or rain in April Mother Nature what can u do! Good luck rest of planting.
Thank you for staying up and putting together another great planting, spraying & Salford video
I remember getting chewed out for planting at 5.5 mph!
Appreciate your work ethic and your constant drive to get the most out of every single acre! Please keep up the good work and stay safe
Yep! Funny how the boss can tell the difference between 5 and 5.5 mph.
You’re truly blessed when you get rain right after planting. Dennis looked like he had been rolling in the seed trench early in the week!! 🤣🤣
Thank you, my Sunday morning treat!!
great video reese good to see you geting it done
Good job Reese! You and the guys know what you're doing. Thanks for showing us
You look like that jack smith character
Thanks for sharing
You know what black sand means. "there's gold in there"...... 👍👍 Looks like both planters are running smooth, hopefully you guys have a flawless planting season this year.
At least the boss is happy about the corn n beans r up !! I hope u have a great growing season !! Like they say !! Farm hard pray harder !!!
Mornin Reese great video y'all covering a lot of ground even if is showering
I feel your pain! It's the year of hydraulic hoses and o rings on my 1255.
Great video again! Love your drone footage and the ability to see the different field variations that you deal with. We keep getting rained out up here in ND so not a very good start so far.
Good video,, 👍, keep on rolling 👍👍
Nice Vid! (Love the long Vids)
Thanks
Great Video Reese ! 👍 Awesome progress on getting the crops in the ground . Thanks for Sharing the ups and downs , stay Safe out there ! 👍🚜
Looking to be a great year.
Nice video Very good Drone footage Glade you guys are moving right along. Glade your dad got the bugs work out his planter.Hope you have a good week next week,
Sometimes those o-rings blow is caue of the aluminum blocks and steel fittings cause of the heating and cooling they loosen up
👍
Treat/spoil us w a mid-week vid next week!! 😊
Be safe at least you guys get to plant up here in Wisconsin we can plan because it’s been wet
25:26 might need a waterway there
Enjoy the video like your showing progress at end of video,Who got the big new case 715.
Sure missing George? Hope and pray that there is no problems? Maybe he just went fishing? Jim in Texas.
Thanks for the great video Reese.👍 Glad to see you guys making good progress between the rains. I was wondering if you notice the corn planter pulls a little easier since you took the Conceal fertilizer system off.
I haven’t watched a video yet. We have not been in the fields here since April 18. 40 minutes north west of Hannibal Missouri or 28 miles across the creek from Quincy.
Go big red
I’ve some issues with the soybean shells myself this year. Can’t remember ever seeing that before either. They were collecting in the top of the mini hoppers on each row. Stine beans tho
👍👍
Another quality video of 2024 planting season!! How does that 380 handle that planter, does it work it at all, or does the planter get into it's ass a little??? Thanks again Reese!!! Happy successful planting!!! Wyoming!!!
I've noticed the same thing with our beans having cracks in them, made me wonder on treating them did it,
What kind of controls does the cat backhoe have? Probably backwards from what you're used to with the deere..
Every time I switch fields I take the ole open end wrenches and Allen wrenches back to all of the hydraulic blocks just to check, ever since I’ve done this I haven’t had a blown o ring. A little extra time to avoid a big mess. I don’t remember having this problem planting at 4.5-5 mph must be the high speed that loosens the fittings? What do do you think.
Dennis I think u need to trade the 2160 off for a 2150s. Not sure if they have a track option for those
Did you add the pro lift to your planter or did it come with the planter?
How do you raise the rows on the corn planter? Is that an aftermarket kit or a factory bought piece? Need to do that with my 2150s thanks!
Does Bob still run Crawford hydraulics? Hell of a guy!
Guess i didnt know you farmed right next to equity
what do you run your closing pressure at for no till stuff?
Reese, it looks like you still running furrow force on the outside 2 rows. Can you talk about them again?
Will do
I was just wondering....when you plant 2 different varieties in your planter do the 2 varieties cross pollinate
Yes, a little in corn
I am not a row crop farmer. Why do you plant end rows before going back on and forth.
What’s the weather app you use on your iPad ?
Hello! Are you only involved in crop production? What kind of crop do you grow?
If I was bouncing around in that tractor on the rough field, I wouldn’t be able to get out of the chair. If I turn wrong I throw out my neck & back.
Chinook helos
What are u folks using the new 700hp case quad track
On tillage equipment they have been using it.
Man y would u keep buying that red junk with all the problems u keep having, from planter to monitors to the new combines last year, who cares how good ur service is if they break down and fall apart all the time, y would u get another bean planter when that one falls a part every year, haven’t heard anything bad about the Deere sprayer
That's because they plant at 11 mph things will break down going that fast lol,I'm a huge Red person but you are so right nothing beats the DB planters,I guess he just needed to hear it from someone else you keep fixing and I'll keep planting 🤣
They all break down. Modern equipment is all junk.
@@gregjames5070 that's a straight up lie you just told
Im not a subscriber but I just want to know why any farmer would go 11 mph when planting, you break stuff at 5 mph,we get stuff done with 12 planters we don't need to go that fast Trump 2024
We run 8-9 without issues. Get a hell of a lot more done that way than going slow
It’s called being efficient. Buying 12 planters and hiring all the guys to drive them 5mph will probably be the worst idea I’ll hear all year
I planted lg beans a few years ago, full of splits , rocks , small pieces of wood. They did nothing about it soooo no more lg.
@@iversfarmswhen you are trying to cover 35,000 acres one planter doesn't get the job done, and besides every planter is already bought and paid for 😁
