- Many believe that the origin of Robert’s evil lies in the one who originally gave him to Gene Otto - the servant who worked for Gene’s parents. This woman was supposedly mistreated by her bosses and to punish them it is believed that she cursed the doll with Voodoo and Black Magic. That might explain the many mysterious and frightening experiences people have had with Robert the Doll; but if so, wouldn’t the haunting end when the owners died? No one really knows for sure. But one thing remains constant: Robert The Doll continues to taunt and scare those who come to view him - especially guests to the museum who attempt to take photos. Many have reported their cameras becoming inoperable when they tried to take a picture of Robert, only to begin working again when they left the museum.
Here are some other things that people also agree is true about Robert: That he’s haunted and that he has caused car accidents, broken bones, job loss, divorce and a cornucopia of other misfortunes.

There's a HUGE difference between ghost hunting & leaving a blood sacrifice especially when that blood is your own and meant as a gift for a known malevolent entity. I say this with 30yrs of paranormal investigations under my belt and many experiences with this type of energy. I've tried warning you about offering your blood and I explained not just the dangers of this but long term how this could effect you, the people around you & your overall quality of life not just here in the present but down the road & into your future. Also, magic is all about the intent/intention so both from that point of view and from let's say a classic religious point of view...I don't understand why all of these people would show such awe, fear and respect towards something malevolent. As someone who has beliefs in Wiccans and Paganism world, you do NOT offer up the blood unless you're willing to face certain consequences.
And neither of them actually used the proper ways to protect oneself as well as the equipment. They used store bought crafting needles. Not an Athame, which is a ritual dagger for ritual purposes.

I was actually there 2 months ago. Went in and the whole place was empty. Super cool experience. Robert seems chill. Said he looked great for being over 100 so maybe he liked me. Nothing bad happened to me. But walking out of his room, my friend and I both heard a distinct growl. Scared my friend half to death but I thought it was the coolest thing. The timing couldn’t have been better. The place isn’t as eerie as people say it is. I got nothing but good vibes around that place. It’s key west, the overall place has a laid back vibe.

That was an acute panic attack if I’ve ever seen one.
It really sucks feeling your whole endocrine system go out of whack and not knowing what’s wrong. Your brain just says “danger!” and you’re compelled to flee from something but you don’t know what and your logical mind can’t sort out the signals.
I would say acute attempted possession is more accurate.
The old ‘fight, flight or freeze’ panic attack symptoms!
Most people don’t ever experience panic attacks and figure their nervousness or anxiety is a panic attack but until you’ve had one- it’s indescribable!
Your insides burn, chest tightens, think you’re having a heart attack, full blown hyperventilation, nausea, migraine, brain malfunctions and doesn’t know whether to run or freeze and you just faint.
It’s awful.
I’m not saying his experience was psychosomatic but it was 100% a panic attack!!

Experiment something negative in your own skin is oftentimes the only way to lean a lesson. My mom would say "you should experiment on someone elses head" I know it doesn't make much sense but she meant I should look others decisions/actions and learn from them without the need to learn the hard way. What I've to say to this is, certain situations you HAVE TO experience yourself, even if they're negative, to really get it. For example here. He didn't take as serious Sam & Colby's experience so he had to experience himself in order to fully believe. That's how life is 🤷🏻♀️

Robert's story was actually the very very first story i've read about paranormal things, i remember when i first read it i got so scared, but few years later the story is actually pretty fascinating, i've had some paranormal experiences trough out my life, but that all stopped when i moved out of my house (givin the history of my childhood home it makes sense) but since living on my own i've put a protection spell on my home, it helps greatly with thing like this.

2nd time seeing Robert. 1st was with Sam and Colby. I've looked it in the eyes (even other highly dangerous dolls too). I feel more an honest curiosity. As an artist, I find the doll to be an interesting design, not creepy or ugly. Though sad to see his degraded appearance due to age, I find the doll beautiful for its time. I respect it but not out of fear. TBH I'd NEVER do blood sacrifice or offering because you are giving a part of your body, your soul and lifeforce...binding you to whatever you are offering it to. My soul is my own. I am an empath, I can sense many things and have not felt any malevolence transferred over any video or audio. I myself have my own paranormal and supernatural experiences. I was slightly annoyed, as well. I clicked the video because they had blacked out Robert’s eyes so I figured it was safe.
In my personal opinion, you can never be too cautious when it comes to the paranormal world.

I have a theory about robert the doll. In the estes session he kept saying stay and i appreciate you. Eugene was obsessed. And the people who work at the museum arent being cursed. What if robert curses you when you leave him. Like hes lonely or the spirit in him is someone who died aftef being left. Idk. But either way what if he curses you when you leave him. The museum people come back all the time so of course they arent being cursed
After I watched the video I went a few hours later to sleep. I had a very intense and weird long dream. Woke up and saw something clearly moving on my chair (something small) and I definitely closed the window before I went to sleep but woke up and it being wide open. My boyfriend also saw a face when laying down and he looked into its eyes and it felt like my bfs eyes were burning and then he turned around and wanted to sleep. He opened his eyes for a second and saw me laying next to him and I was smiling. He closed his eyes again and after 3 sec he opened them again bc I was talking and I was NOT in the bed. ( I was not there anymore when he opened his eyes again) Jesus Christ that was so scary and now I wanted to share this. Stay safe y’all.
