I would love a Marathon mod for CE that's like an overhaul of the game, similar to SPV3 or SOI's Campaign mod. Add some enemies from Marathon like the tank tread cyborgs, juggernaut, and other Pfhor enemies, while still keeping the original Covenant. As for weapons, give the AR a grenade launcher of course. Now what I'm wondering is how Marathon's fusion pistol would fit in with the CE plasma pistol? They're both literally the same gun, just one's human-made where the other is alien-made. Would there be only the fusion pistol and no Covie plasma pistol, or would they each have different properties? Like the fusion pistol charged shot is the same as the og plasma pistol whereas the mod's Covie plasma pistol charge fires a rapid burst? Ah, I'm dragging this comment out. The point is a Marathon mod would be absolutely awesome.
This is awesome. Wish I knew how to mod some of these sound effects into the game myself. I would definitely replace the rocket launcher sound, and maybe the AR, with their Marathon equivalents.
At first I thought this was quite cool, and I still think that. But then I thought about how hard it would be to implement anything from the campaign of Marathon (any Marathon). A lot of the logic would be lost in the translation and it would be a hell to implement correctly. Anyway, this is really awesome.

Can the weapons be upgraded to include proper reload animations for weapons that don't have them like the SPNKR and flames left behind by the flamethrower?
