Back in the day....I remember creating my own physics mods, with sounds, and some art. Pretty sure we used Anvil and Forge on those old Macs. I love seeing that this whole trilogy is still being enjoyed!
There's also Marathon RED, developed by Ian McConville in the early 2000s. The fusion pistol (DS Microwave) is really good for clearing out large hordes of enemies with the main function, same with the flamethrower (Krom Cannon) The real game changer is the Alien Weapon (Fusion mace) with the ability to fly almost using the secondary function. Both it, the Krom Cannon and the rocket launcher (has 4 shots instead of 2) can all be found --SPOILER ALERT-- on the level 'Last Minute Shopping', although that level is a bit annoying since it's an extermination level. After the level 'Mmm, tastes like evil' you spawn as one of your enemies, only you are a god compared to everything else.
I can't believe some of these scenarios are as old as my wife... that I was searching Lh'owon for some piece of data that could lead to the defeat of the Pfhor when she was only 1 year old.
Awww maaann..... I allready played all of these😢😢 But I don't remember the evil mod to be so bright, did you turn up the brightness for this video? Or do I just misremember 🤔
I got a question, do you know how to install and play these? I can't find instructions for marathon scenarios anywhere on the web and it is driving me mad!! Help will be appreciated, thanks. :)
You can place the folders with these mods into your Aleph One directory, then double click Aleph One.exe and open the mod’s folder through it, everything else exe file does on its own and launches the game. (Same works with all of the Marathon Trilogy games, although for Rubicon X remove the “F” letter from it’s folder name and just copy files of Aleph One into Rubicon X folder)
@@Quiver333_real I figured it out through a forum post, the way I tried is dragging the mod folder over the Aleph One application and selecting "open with Aleph One", I really appreciate you trying to help thank you :D
Boghman22 it’s absolutely necessary if you don’t want to have motion sickness for the rest of your month or even life, heck I somehow managed to beat Marathon Phoenix with this shit
