It is truly an ideal place to stay for several days in this beautiful surrounding. Through the window if your room yo can get a sense of the sheer scale and beauty of the canyon.
Yes, but you have to call the toll-free number. Bright Angel is very good with assigning the requested room, Maswik, not as good. You can then follow-up with the front desk a day or two before arriving, which is when the final room is assigned. I have had very good luck with getting the requested room. Yes, the prices have gone sky high at the National Parks lately. Unfortunately.
I think that is the best time of year to visit. As long as there is no holiday weekend, you should find it relatively quiet. I do have a video on the best time to visit: th-cam.com/video/xMRJwFuUG50/w-d-xo.html
Bright Angel is all single story, but if noise is a concern, do not stay there. Maswik allows a top-floor selection on the computer when you book, which I always follow-up with a phone call to the 800 number. If you are really serious, you can also call the front desk a day or two before arriving, which is when the finally assign the rooms. Definately stay on the top floor at Maswik, and in an end unit if possible. They are quieter. I have never failed to get a top floor room at Maswik. Maswik also has several ADA units that are single story. Yavapai has a lot of one floor rooms, but they are not on the rim. End units would be queiter as well. I hope that helps.

Hopefully you can book such a room on your next visit!
@ It would be nice, but I'll think about it when and if it comes to that.
That is quite a place. Love the fire place.
It really does make the room a bit more special!
Great review and summary❤ Noise is a big nuisance😂❤👍😃
Yes, as a fellow traveller (and light sleeper), I find it to be one of the worst problems in a hotel.
Nice and thanks for sharing today
Thanks for watching!
It's looks perfect! Are you able to book a specific room when making a reservation?
Wow!! That's pricey!! 😮

Awesome info thanks. I’m pretty much planning on going the first week in November, which I hope will mean it’s not gonna be crowded.

Hello, and thanks for watching!
How do I get a room in one of the Lodges with nobody walking above me? Thanks for your videos
