When you get professional microneedling you can easily move the pen across the skin with a pure hyaluronic acid serum, you apply a liberal amount as needed repeatedly on the face while needling, the pen should always be perfectly perpendicular to the face or straight on if you will, you can cross hatch in sections or go in circular motions, there should be NO DRAGGING or pulling on the skin as this can really damage the skin! This is why microneedling with a hyaluronic serum is absolutely essential, as well, they don’t recommend you apply anything but consistent hyaluronic acid serum continuously for the next 24-48 hours, never letting that skin dry out and get raw. After 48 hours you can continue with gentle fragrance free skin care for the next week, do not use any active aha/bha or retinoids at least 3-5 days before microneedling and the same goes for afterwards, avoid exercising or physical exertion, strong sun contact, makeup, hot showers etc for the next 3-5 days after needling. I started at 0.75 setting needle length, I didn't realize where the speed adjustment was on the pen, and instead of higher speeds for a high number of needles used, I had mine on setting 1 (the slowest), and I've heard slow speeds for fewer needles...anyway the numbing cream was weak for me felt it didn't do much. You'll get a bunch of cartridges with 16 or 36 needles. How did it look? When I was done, the immediate look improved. I have lines to remove, and the surface looked smoother for a few hours. Now I think it looked smoother, maybe because of the swelling from the needles when done, as the look didn't last for more than a few hours. That was my first try at it. coming up on the 3rd session anticipate more permanent effects after the 6 or 7 session. I was NOT as gung-ho about it. I did not do it for very, very long, though. My face didn't stay red with as deep a color and for as long as most people have.

Hi, may I know what needle depth I should set my M8 to for nano needling? Saw on your instagram that it should be set at 0.25, but the nano needles don’t reach the end of the plastic cartridge at all at 0.25! I’m so confused! Please advise.. thank you
Hello. Yes 0.25mm for nano-needling. Nano-needling is designed to improve product absorption, it isn't meant to pierce your skin. When the cartridge is pressed onto your skin it will reach your skin comfortably. :)

@@rachelt4887 I have the same problem, I've found when doing nano or product needling which they say to use at .25 it won't ,...I put it up to 2.5 or there abouts, ....the first 3 months I used a 12 pin cartridge for deep penetration at 0,5 then I started to use a 36 pin cartridge, the difference was amazing, it's was so less painful in fact I could hardly feel anything and I had to higher it up to 1.0 and 1.5 around the cheek area, I thought at first I'd bought faulty cartridges because you were always told to only go up to .5 for deep penetration, it certainly is very confusing, at this time I use 36 needles @1.0 above my eyes and neck and 1.5 the more fleshy areas, I do the nano at 2.0- the max 2.5. .I've found that if you start at the lowest speed all over the face at those number above then repeat at the highest speed it works better.

No you can't use the vitamin C serum whilst needling. It isn't a good ingredient to microneedle with. Hi there. Sorry just reading this now. I have both. I find that the Dr. Pen is good for quickies or for lower depths for product penetration… also on temples and hairline for regrowth but the D2 I have had for a long time and it outshines this one by far. But I guess you get what you pay for. I have never had an issue with either company or either device. I just tend to do my deeper micro needling with the D2. I’m sure the M8 would be great as well. Hope this helps.
Numbing cream 🤔no no no just start off gently with hyloronic acid the last thing you want is the chemicals from the numbing cream going into you skin ..It’s better to feel it rather than not and totally over do your face.once you have treated your skin leave it for an hour for the acid to get into the skin and use a biolux led treatment machine and choose the Color that really helps with healing for kwiker healing . The trick is not to over do your very first treatment and learn what suits each of you as we are all diffrent..nice small circular motions suit me better up and down as I feel any small hairs get dragged when I’m pulling down. I suppose we’re all diffrent .
none of this is correct lol you wash off the numbing cream residue before you go in with the pen. everything is a chemical. HA is a chemical. every professional uses numbing cream and there is zero evidence to suggest it is harmful when removed before the start of the treatment.

R T this is true. I used the nano needle and put the dial up to 2.0.

can you return it? there are a lot of fake products on ebay and amazon as well (unless the seller is the manufacturer... amazon is safer than ebay... if it's half priced, most likely a pirated copy that looks real and comes in a sealed box... fyi...

Hi, just purchased my Dr Pen M8. I am an older person, so please could you tell me what needle depth I can go down to which will give me the best overall results. Also what depth would you recommend for deep dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Much thanks.
Microneedling won't help with puffiness or dark circles. For puffiness I would suggest our jade roller. As for depth, it depends on what you're trying to treat. Please see our depth chart

Hi there. Sorry just reading this now. I have both. I find that the Dr. Pen is good for quickies or for lower depths for product penetration… also on temples and hairline for regrowth but the D2 I have had for a long time and it outshines this one by far. But I guess you get what you pay for. I have never had an issue with either company or either device. I just tend to do my deeper micro needling with the D2. I’m sure the M8 would be great as well. Hope this helps.
Numbing cream 🤔no no no just start off gently with hyloronic acid the last thing you want is the chemicals from the numbing cream going into you skin ..It’s better to feel it rather than not and totally over do your face.once you have treated your skin leave it for an hour for the acid to get into the skin and use a biolux led treatment machine and choose the Color that really helps with healing for kwiker healing . The trick is not to over do your very first treatment and learn what suits each of you as we are all diffrent..nice small circular motions suit me better up and down as I feel any small hairs get dragged when I’m pulling down. I suppose we’re all diffrent .
Have to agree here. Just did my first at home treatment at 1.5mm, without any numbing cream, and the pain wasn't bad at all.
none of this is correct lol you wash off the numbing cream residue before you go in with the pen. everything is a chemical. HA is a chemical. every professional uses numbing cream and there is zero evidence to suggest it is harmful when removed before the start of the treatment.
