Considering how fast time in the Deeprealms passes, Shigure simply leaving to pass the message to Azura surely means everyone must have been annihilated by the time they return lol. Also, that clip at the start where Jacob didn't recognise his own son because he's coded into the scene as a non-parent is pretty funny.
It's kinda complicated to talk about what could have happened with Shigure considering ho he and Azura really are, so I guess putting him in the deep realm is kinda the safest option (in this route anyway) but honestly, couldn't Azura ask some of her friends to help hide Shigure? She could remind them that Nohr is not safe at all for her son considering she's essentially, a bastard daughter of the king and keep him in a safe until the war ended. And (spoiler) when she disappeared suddenly and was never seen again, I doubt the Nohrian siblings wouldn't take him in and raise him as one part of the family.
Wait, Shigure inherits Wyvern Rider from Jakob? I would've thought he inherited Cavalier from Jakob, assuming the class set he gets from his mother was fixed. Fathers must pass down their class first, it seems. This must be the only edge case for him like this, since Jakob is the only male Troubadour who can sire a child that isn't Kana. Wyvern Rider is indeed more interesting for Shigure since he gets to use Rally Speed + Rally Defense + his personal skill. I see you passed down Voice of Peace + Inspiration, but I'm thinking Rally Resistance wouldn't have been a bad option either. Four rally effects in one turn as a L8 Wyvern Lord? Not a bad deal. Much more worthwhile than Dwyer inheriting Sky Knight. It's fun in the rare edge cases when children inherit parallel classes. I take it your Nina is aiming for Diviner with Nyx as a mother?
It's actually because no unit can inherit Songstress from Azura, so he would normally get her secondary class. However, her secondary is Sky Knight (which he already possesses), so he gets her hidden third class. However, it's Troubadour, which Jakob already gives him, so he gets the Nohrian counterpart of Sky Knight, which is Wyvern Rider. Yeah, it's weird. Should 100% be Cavalier.
Shigure inherits Troubadour from Jakob, and the Sky Knight parallel Wyvern Rider from Azura. ngl this stuff's confusing and makes my brain cry especially with children involved, but it is really interesting to see these cases in action.
From what I've gathered, parallel classes for children is such a rare occurrence and only applies for very specific matchups (or in Shigure's case, always). And, I can't even find any Hoshidan-exclusive children that has this trait. The "fixed" parent always gives the same class, and they always give this class first. They would first give the base class, but if it conflicts with the child's base class, the second class. And in Shigure's case, Azura will always give the parallel of what she *would've* given Shigure, which is the parallel of Sky Knight, Wyvern Rider. And then, the "variable" parent. If both their class sets conflict with the base class of the child *and* the class the fixed parent gives, they would give the parallel of what they would've given the child. Nyx would give Nina the Dark Mage parallel and Beruka would give Percy the Wyvern Knight parallel. That sums it up quite nicely, but I do kinda want to explore some other cases, that being Friendship/Partner seals. This is where we see the parallel classes return but again, it's extremely rare. In fact, you would have to pair with someone with an exclusive class (Noble, Songstress, Kitsune, Wolfskin, Villager). So someone like Arthur using a Friendship seal with Keaton would get the parallel of Wolfskin, Outlaw, and Silas using a Partner seal with Cavalier-talent Corrin would get the parallel of Cavalier, Ninja. However, there is apparently an exception for Apothecary, Troubadour, and Shrine Maiden cuz according to Serenes Forest, there are *no* parallel classes. I don't know why this is the case at all, so I guess you'd be out of luck if your base class is one of those three and you want to use a seal with a Corrin with conflicting talent.
@@vexjlproductions9444 regarding Apothecary/Troubadour/Shrine Maiden parallel classes, it does indeed seem weird that they have none. What does Jakob gain from a female Corrin Troubadour with a Partner Seal?

I'm using this pair in revelation and Wyvern Lord Shigure will be interesting
Apparently Jakob doesn’t know that Shigure is his son

Yeah it's a pretty edge case for Shigure when Jakob is the father.
And, nope, I didn't think of using Nina at all for this playthrough.
