I think this was supposed to be Shigure's song for Azura that sacrifices herself at the end game. Especially with parts like "lost in the waves, a pale blue stone" which is Azura's amulet that she tells Shigure to throw in the ocean to be lost forever in their Support Conversation.
I guess this is what happens when there's a Canon Male Version of a song... Still find it hard to believe that Chrom, Tygra, McCree, Levi, Kiritsugu, Jotaro and Ryoma can sing so well...

I think azura might've been better than Shigure if her voice actress used her real singing voice, rather than the higher-pitched airy voice she has to do for Azura normally (the "dark version" that she sings in conquest is a good example of her real voice, its deeper and stronger than her "azura" voice, but props to her for being able to sing well while making her voice different)

idk if anyone’s said this yet bUT JUST IMAGINE LEVI SINGING THIS. i can just visualize him singing this to himself near the end of season 3, (SPOILER) right after Erwin passed- singing it almost to Erwins memory. even making the parallel to the sea and saying how they were able to learn the truth. the lyrics just work so well ugh. and then once some of the other voices join in, imagine it being hanji and the other scouts singing it with him as a last goodbye and thank you to the commander. BRUH
Makes me wish that both corrins existed at once and if you played birthright/conquest the opposite gender would go with the opposing team but with Revelations you'd have both of them together in the final battle

i love fire emblem fates birthright and revelation I consider fates one of the best and most underrated fire emblem games of all time in my opinion up there with awaking and the archaea series this game in my personal opinion is a thousand times better than three houses just my opinion
