I had Kaze standing on a pillar equipped with a dagger effective against beast type enemies. He took care of all the Pegasus knights with a Corrin backpack.
THIS MAP. Hated it so much. You practically have to plan around the wind patterns, which you need to know in advance, as you otherwise wind up overextending yourself without wanting it. Its only saving grace is that you can opt to end it relatively quickly on account of the Seize objective, but with treasure littered all over the map (and not just any treasure, a Dragonstone+, 10K Gold, and a Rescue Staff!), you actually want to go and get it. Ugh, so annoying.
This chapter is not about having strong units. It's about having an actual PLAN! Strength says NOTHING when you will get bombarded with status staffs. The enemies are relatively strong but nothing you can't handle. It's the damn wind that you need to handle, and I won't even start on Hayato and his HEX. Still, nice video :)
I did drop my first Conquest run through cause of this chapter lmao. Coming out of Birthright, my first fire emblem game ever, I thought of doing what I did before and leveled everyone in my army up! Horrible rookie mistake.
OH MY GOD, this is a map that I ABSOLUTELY GUILTILY LOVE despite its poor reputation in the fandom. I admit it's annoying when the winds pester you when you're nowhere near range of the enemies (especially because I have to backtrack to get the chests that flat out shouldn't be ignored). But, using the winds to your advantage is oh so satisfying. You can break up the enemy formation (notably the part with the Lunge Priestesses right before Fuga and the Falcon Knights bumming Hayato) and "break" the ai (the enemies aggro in groups, so if you use the wind to separate them, you can let one part of the group attack you, and the others will be aggravated too but they're miles away!). And generally, it's really good for approaching the enemies so you can attack them before they attack you (the Kinshi Knights particularly with their massive range) and creating little "shortcuts" around the map. This map is also VERY susceptible to LTC (in a good way) since you can fly all over the map with fliers, it's surprisingly fun. My other gripe about this map aside from what I already mentioned is the BRUTAL reinforcements. The first set of reinforcements are fine, they're easy enough to take on, but the final reinforcements feel so dumb. Upon reaching Fuga's platform, you get bombarded by 5 Kinshi/Falcon Knights in the western stairs and 3 Omnyoji and 2 Spear Masters from *the Fuga platform itself*. 10 reinforcements in total in one turn. But, once you do know this, it's easy enough to just block the stairs (the immobile Priestess with Freeze is conveniently in attacking range of the stairs). I'm guessing they want to rush you to defeat Fuga but it's not a very pleasant combination with the Freeze Priestess and the very narrow passageway leading to the platform itself. Final thoughts: it would be nice if the winds stopped after defeating Fuga kinda like if you defeated Takumi in ch.10 or Hinoka in ch.24. But ig since Fuga isn't using a DV and isn't controlling the winds it makes sense this way.
Fuga and Hayato are my favorite antagonists in Fates. I found the other enemies to be too one note while Flora and the royals sans Takumi come off as too OOC when you fight them. It's odd you kill off Kaden/Keaton and their entire clans, but the Wind Tribe lives even though it's a fight to the death. Even though Fates has lackluster storyline, the gameplay is still solid. I feel it'll age better than Awakening or Echoes. I think the writing of Echoes is better, but gameplay can be tedious and monotonous at times. I've beaten Awakening no DLC/no MU/no grind on Lunatic/Lunatic+, but it's more hax than real difficulty.
Honestly, it’s times like these I wish Lunatic Phoenix mode was a thing. My squad just dies and dies and dies and then “woop” they’re back only to chip off some hp and die again
What did you expect? It's called LUNATIC. It's supposed to be insanely hard and unfair at times. Hard mode îs The perfect difficulty, hard but fair and balanced, with no a Bush spawns or insanely boosted units în random place like endgame birthright or awakening. And even then, lunatic conquest îs arguably the most balanced and fair out of all The other lunatic /maddening difficulties în other games. So I don't get why people complain about lunatic conquest being hard, it's supposed to be like that. At least it's tested and playable unlike maddening în houses.
@@mihaimercenarul7467 year later, i’ve let Conquest Lunatic off the hook. But the fact some people actually defend Three Houses Maddening is really… maddening.
Yeah, starting at C you get a bonus depending on the weapon. For example, Swords and Knives get 1 attack, then 2 attack at B, 3 at A, and 4 at S with an extra 5 hit rate.
Very much, I made a big mistake not putting him to use here. He has a big Speed problem, but at the time I didn't really know of all the ways you could patch that up. He is a very good mixed tank with the Horse Spirit from Ophelia's Paralogue.
Absolutely, it's the one skill you don't notice until you've initiated combat. And it's absolutely tailored for the enemies, it's on a crappy class for playable units and it's not even a good skill in that context.
This chap ez when compare with chap 10-true challenge even invasion 2 more harder this chap. I beat it no need Dragon vein, no buff and no need Xander-Camilla
Jakob isn't really a unit I use for combat, haha. I kept him as a support so he could learn Inspiration and pass it down to Dwyer, who will replace him later.
Both of them have a hidden mechanic that lets them level up much faster than other units. A lvl 13 Camilla for example levels just as fast as a lvl 8 Beruka. So given that context, it's not as insane as you'd think.
U must be fucking kidding me : 1 U have more XP + Items that u should have if u played conquest lunatic + classic. 2 The IA are SO stupid that cant be Lunatic or we dont have the same game. 3 The damage are jokes u are really taking 3 damage from ennemies in this chapter 😂 4 U fucking build un skills randomly u still have less diffuculty than me i m out of this
The AI is really bad in this map cause the wind messes with them. The enemies swap between magic and melee weapons and he's swapping between heavy DEF units and heavy RES units hence the 3 damage His builds are actually quite nice actually hence the lower difficulty, they are about reducing damage greatly or doing an insane amount of damage when HE attacks. You can also tell He's on Lunatic by looking at the boss skills which match up with the ones on the wiki for the lunatic versions

"I dropped Conquest in this chapter" lul. So true. And then you get to the next chapter after finally coming back to the game and quit again
Chaoter 21 îs easy tho

this map is so easy, I think you know now how bad you are at this game

Unlike Awakening, you can't just put a unit in a mob of enemies and wipe them out. Do that on Conquest and you'll get your ass killed.

owain wants to be a dark mage , anakos okk bro let me fix you , this man : nah ah bro you are gona be a swordmaster anyways
27:00 wait, does weapon proficiency actually affect how well they can use a type of weapon? Or does it just mean u can use higher ranked weapons?

28:30 although use OP character like Xander and Camilla still rescue them. Lmao. Maybe change title: game of rescue

54:51 « Prepare for oblivion! » using Sol instead of a critical. Gosh 😅 that was so close for ruining the whole chapter! 😭

Cool
Wait a minute... LvL 20 Jacob strategist?!?! And LvL 13 camilla? was hoping for realistic units for this level
Jakob isn't really a unit I use for combat, haha. I kept him as a support so he could learn Inspiration and pass it down to Dwyer, who will replace him later.
Jacob has no problems getting to lvl 20 strategist. Camilla on lvl 13 is quite the stretch tho.

He reclass Jacob with heart seal at chap 14 not promotion.
