I think the wobbling of the camera is more to do with the restoration than the actual filming of the episodes. I've noticed it several times in the restored episodes, but I don't think the camera ever wobbled on my old VHS tapes.
Brakes don't automatically cause wheels to stop spinning if they aren't applied full on. It's possible that Thomas brakes couldn't prevent them from spinning at the rate of speed he was going, much like James' brakes in "Thomas and the Brakedown Train."
Thomas just had an accident; it's very likely his lamp was "damaged," hence the missing parts.
At 1:59, while James was shunting a truck, you'll notice that he passed Gordon already, but in the next scene, he stops right next to Gordon.
at 3:31 in look at gordon's left eye it moved on its own thats a goof
This was the first Thomas episode I ever watched.
Same i watch it first time on a Finnish vhs tape thomas percy and the dragon.

4:01 The camera wobbled again, while danger lay ahead, and Terry Permane was shaking nervous with the video camera, that Thomas was going to crash into the muddy pond while the freight cars push him.
When Thomas says “Hello.” to the cows, he passes the signal, the face cam shows him passing it again, and then he’s stopped at the same signal when Bertie drives up.
Also the cows are orange when Thomas says “Hello” and on the close-up of them, but are white afterwards.
Oh my so many goofs. 0:40 that is my favourite set from the model series
I’m glad most of these goofs, such as problems with the face plates, studio equipment appearing, and wires appearing, don’t appear when the TV series switched to CGI, since it takes place on an animated railway with animated characters instead of models.

Normally I don’t mind goofs but that scene of Percy being in the yard when James explicitly states that Percy was at the harbor always bugged me as a kid.

In 2:04, u can clearly see that James has no smoke coming out when he is shunting the trucks
Here are some more sins. Thomas left the quarry with a different train from what he took there. You can tell because the truck's leader looks different.
Likewise, the first truck's face is misplaced. After all, it should be closer to where his railing is, instead of on his back.
3:01 David Mitton had to test out the train model of Duck The Great Western Engine's whistle to check to see if it did work, and yet it did.

James says that he has to do Percy's work while Percy is at the harbour, despite the fact that Percy can be seen shunting trucks in a close-up of Gordon smiling in the yard.
While Thomas passes the camera while taking the trucks to the quarry, the last truck's face is falling off.
When Thomas leaves the quarry and when Thomas crosses the bridge, his trucks have no faces, even though they had them before and after.
Thomas passes the points leading to the muddy pond before the narrator has time to say so.
While Thomas was being pushed by the troublesome trucks into the pond, Thomas' weight moved the track slightly.
At the pond, the front truck's right eye is covered in white residue.
The narrator said that Thomas' driver applied the brakes, but his wheels are still moving.
In a rare picture, a camera can be seen at the top left amongst the trees before Thomas runs onto the jetty.
In the close-up of Thomas after he floats across the pond, the jetty has already sunk into the pond, but in the next shot of his wheels, it has not sunk yet.
Edward says a truck of tar was left at his station, but two appear in the flashback.
The toad on Thomas' front at the end has adhesive underneath its feet.
In the US version, the narrator says that the trucks pushed Thomas past the points even though this had happened long before the scene had begun.
In the restored version:
The camera shakes in one of Gordon's close-ups.
James goes past the camera completely when pushing the trucks, resulting in the sound being heard later after James hits the trucks and James' actions being repeated when he meets Gordon in the next scene.
In the first scene, Clarabel is facing the wrong way.
In the first shot of the yard, Edward is seen pulling express coaches and there is a goods train passing through next to him, but in the next shot, both trains have disappeared.
During the exchange between Gordon, James and Thomas, Edward and Duck's whistle sounds and a guard's whistle are heard many times.
When Bertie arrives at the yard to thank Thomas for helping to find the tar, some stone trucks are in the siding to Bertie's right. However, when the shot switches to a close-up of Bertie, the trucks have disappeared.
The camera slightly moves in the first shot of the jetty.
In the Finnish dub, during the scene where Thomas talks about bad luck to Bertie, Thomas says "steam machine" by accident.
0:40 The art director suggested to use Toby's branch line for the Thomas and Friends show episode Trust Thomas
You also forgot to mention the many placements of the toad being on thomas's footplate

Why on earth did TH-cam for Kids even have to be a thing at all (ugh)? Also where are you from Useful Edward Fan?
