- In this installment of Crooked Shed Bike Builds, we'll be building up a Cannondale Caad10 road bike. This bike is subtle, but has quite a bit of personality that makes it special.

Nice bike & build video. The handlebars cost more than my used 2014 CAAD10 I bought 2 years ago! The creaking BB30 was driving me nuts so I got a thread-together BB and using a SRAM GXP crankset.

I have a problem about selection of CaneCreek headset for CAAD10.
I don't the accurate size for my frame.

Upper: IS42；Lower: IS47

You are correct. The caad 10 uses a "Campy standard" tapered headset. The headset taper is 1.125" to 1.25". This means that it is 47/52mm. You can just use IS42 upper with seperate IS47 lower. For instance, Cane Creek IS42 upper with stock lower. Cane creek also has IS42/IS47 headsets.
Why do people invest so much cash into alloy frames? I ask because I’m also investing $3000 in my own CAAD 10 build, not because I think it’s stupid.
because your going to be no faster on a $7500 s works frameset than you are on one of these picked up for $300 and they "ride" better

wow, i hate everything about this. every single choice made for this bike is the absolute last thing i would ever do. damn, that's pretty remarkable. somebody was all in for this. good for them. def not my bag, tho.
