IVAN2104 t-shirt ??? Oh yes, please !!! Loved the video. Very descriptive and engaging. BTW, working on an '86 carb was very nostalgic for me as my first car was an '86 2104...
Great video Shawn !! Looks like my latest addition ('87 2104) will need some carb lov as well. However, what it will need the most is a diagram for reconnecting all the hoses and such... as everything is disconnected right now. I can only go so far by checking my '91 2104 as it had a Weber carb installed back in '08 when I got it. I do have a Haynes manual but would love to find something more detailed. Thx !!!
Hello havena, you are correct here is a filter screen at the fuel port on the carburetor, we did pass air though it as a check but have never found one to be in bad condition unless a fuel pump diaphragm has failed. Typically the primary fuel filter in the fuel line captures any debris. Thank you for your comment and for watching our videos! - Darren
fucking carb. They loosen on their own. Having many rods on the sides tend to loosen. It happened to me several times that the screws were loosened. I advise adapting another carburetor.

Carb rebuilds are therapy! Tip: To not struggle placing the main jets at the bottom of the bowl, you can use a wood toothpick. Nice Lada!
That is a great tip! Thanks for watching and sharing that advice we hope we will hear from you on our other videos! - Darren
