i dont understand something, really nice editing, good filming, rythm, nice explications so ... the guy is in a professional shop but he work on the floor and use screwdrivers like pin pinch and wrench like a hammer. WTF pay him tools please ahahah thank you for sharing knowledge but buy him more tools please
My lada niva gearbox broke so we had to fix it. It had a missing chunk in the corner, so we when to a welder and he done it good. The next thing we did was we put the gearbox back on the engine and we unbolted the middle diferential and removed the rubber donut to see if it was good. After we are done we drove it home without having the middle diferential calibrated. After a ride it started screaming when we let go of the clutch for a second. We recently bought the big yellow mount. We mount it we calibrate the differential as best as we can and it still screams when we let go of the cluch for a second or 2. Can you guys help us please?
hey ladapower guys, i am wondering if the old donut can cause the propeller shaft shaking or so, it started long time ago but its been getting worse every year. i have just replaced the support bearing and joints but now it runs even worse, i tried to mark the propeller shaft also so it would go back together in right position...
@@LadaPower thanks, we made a small mistake when replacing joints and one of the cups cracked.. it still works like it should which is weird, so we will replace it again.and replace the dpnut :)
@@LadaPower by the way, is there more of classic lada repair instruction videos coming? if it is possible i would suggest to do gearbox rear end bearing replace, the place where the donut is attached to gearbox :) i see mine is loose and dont know how long it still lasts, need to get rid of that vibration at least hehe... it already has lasted 8 years of daily drive tho!
You will know when your car starts to vibrate when driving. If the HI-LO and gear box lever are vibrating when you drive, its a good time to have a look at the rubber doughnut and check for any cracks along it.

All the latest Niva have a reinforced donut. It is much stronger.

Yes. Donut can be a source of the vibration.
