Good video. FYI- Consumer Reports rates the Conti Terrain Contact as their #1 rated AT truck tire. Both are very good AT tires for majority street use.
My Grabbers lasted 14,600 miles! Warranty is a scam. Continental made me buy another set of General/Continental replacement tires to receive my warranty credit. After the purchase and installation, Continental then denied my legitimate claim citing "severe wear" and told me my only option would be to hire a lawyer and sue them for the $1200.
I'd back off Continental and use the $1200 you'll save to fix your suspension and get an alignment. There's no way those tires should have worn out in 14k miles. Your next set will love you for it. There are more bald tires due to poor suspensions and alignments than total miles run. Mileage warranties are for properly adjusted vehicles and tire pressures. Any good technician can see when the vehicle has issues.
@@JuanMartinez-gu8sh Many assumptions. The suspension was almost entirely replaced less than a year before the tires were installed. Tires were rotated 4 times in 15 months. In addition, the company showed zero interest in the safety factor issue OR the product being defective. Denying your claim makes them $. You must buy replacements FIRST. It's a scam to sell tires pal. Until YOU bring them an issue do not criticize anything I say about Continental customer service.
@@Walker-D77Oh, such anger tough guy! What are you doing? Off-road racing? Nope. I'll stick to my assumption that your ride needs some TLC and you are just pissed that you had to pay for it. No company is going to give you replacements after 15k miles on tires that were abused. By the way, I wasn't criticizing. I was informing you in case you failed to understand. In fact, I was trying to help and make sure your next set would last longer. But I digress. You don't strike me as the type that likes anyone telling them anything. Helpful or not. Good bye.
Thanks for the comparison. The GG APT serves me well (65% pavement, 35% dirt/gravel/rock) in everything except mud.
Yes its a good tire for little bit off road. What size are you running by the way?
@@comparethetire I currently have 285/70/R17 but think I want to go to 295/70s on an R18 to get just a tiny bit more ground clearance
Yea that's fine. Just can put them on the same rim by the way. I mean you can add 10 up and down on the total width in mm.

Thanks. Yes I know. Have you checked out my list of best all terrain tires? I've added TerrainContact over there too.
Can you share what sizes and load ranges you tested?
Almost all XL sizes mostly.
