51,70X have same hardware. 52/57 72/77 can work with same file if they are already on the correct OS. It’s always best to try to use the exact file from zebra. It’ll make the specific device run better. But to wipe enterprise, it’ll work.
@@GsmTips I think we misunderstand each other because I haven’t used any files except from zebra and I already have all the zips for all handhelds available right now. I have no need to try a zip file from anywhere else than from zebra official website. Im just stating that the 52 & the 72 zip files will work on same device because they have the same hardware. Thanks. This worked perfectly for the TC56DJ. I first had an issue as the browser I was using, Safari, downloaded the zip files and automatically extracted it into a folder. So when I copied the folder onto an SD card It did not work. Once I changed the settings to leave the downloaded file zipped then it worked. The Android factory reset is 6.0 version but I was able to download an update to Android 8.1 from the Zebra site. The TC56 cannot update to anything newer than Android 8.1. Thanks again for your instructions.

I never tested it on TC75, only users reported as working and I don’t know what this error is. Anyway what I can suggest is: Do not extract the archive, or, try another sd. I hope it helps.

@@GsmTips thanks, I was able to reset it going into the settings. The Best Buy installed app would block access to the settings after about 6 seconds powered on. I had to turn it off and on several times so that I can get to the administrator settings and turn off access to that app . After this I was able to uninstall and I have it clean now :) thanks
Does this work for the TC56HO? I have several of the TC56CJ which are what you are doing the video with. However, I'm having the hardest time rolling back to Nougat on the TC56HO. I usually use adb sideload, but this seems so much easier.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I downloaded the file to my micro SD card and didn’t extract the files. When I select “Apply upgrade from SD card” and select the file (which is listed as “../“ I don’t have a list like you do. I get an error that says “No package file selected. Installation aborted.” Lastly, when I put the micro SD card back into my computer to try to delete and add the files again my computer tells me the SD card has been corrupted and is no longer usable. I’ve wasted 2 SDs cards trying to reset my Zebra. What am I doing wrong? I have TC57.
Zebra change the files. That one is corrupted. Contact me… You can’t put them on line like this. Diaper changed everything just because of people putting them online for free.

Hi, only on the specified models has been reported to work. I only tested it on TC56, users have tried on the others. You can try on TC21, probably worst case scenario it will fail but it shouldn’t affect your phone

Nothing wrong with your english :) Not sure about google account but this method allows you to wipe the admin mode. 2 devices I’ve done and I’m not 100% but I think while in admin mode, there is no google account usually. Good luck!

Hi. I have managed to get another Micro SD card ( 512mb ) I have copied the files over and i am still getting ../ on the TC57 , it does now show any files on any SD card i have inserted. I don't know what step to take next. All other videos show many files on the Micro SD card inserted. Really annoying, any help would be grateful. Thanks

When I try to download the files from Zebra, it says I need a contract with them. Not sure I understand correctly the issue. If the phone doesn’t read the SD, try another one. The info onto the SD you copy with an adaptor straight from the PC.

If you are using the right file for the right phone, it should work.. also been advised that these files work on tc57 and tc51 too so I don’t know what to say.. these are the common errors…It doesnt Like the SD or you have on your device too old or too new software version.
It should work in TC56DJ .only 2 ways, this one or via command prompt on pc. I don’t know how to do it that way you gonna have to do some research on that.
Zebra has changed all their files because they all got leaked. Those files you have are now corrupt. Email me and I’ll give you the new ones. I help. People too…. I learned the hard way. I got my account suspended and got it back and now they are all different in 2 codes.

I don’t think you can update it anymore, I don’t know how to do it. Check on their website but as far as I know they stopped support for Tc56.

Just put the sim card and if it works it’s okay. Otherwise some company’s software it will limit usage especially to settings.

Check under the battery, it should have a secret cover😅 remove that.

I had an issue with this download too, the file had the prefix .jar. I deleted the .jar bit so it was just .zip and it worked a treat

Maybe it doesn’t like that card.. try another one. The file must go on the card as it is, do not extract it.

Hi, the file needs to be archived, do not unzip. I suggest to try another SD, a small capacity one if possible like 2 or 4gb.

I wouldn’t rename them or modify in any way. I only tested the files on TC56, others have reported that they also work on TC57

Not sure I understand correctly the issue. If the phone doesn’t read the SD, try another one. The info onto the SD you copy with an adaptor straight from the PC.

I only tested it on TC56 DJ :( Some users have reported that works on few other models too. If I was you I would try another SD too just in case.

Normally these files are made for certain models but, they work on others too, so the only way to know is if you try.
Just tried said it's not compatible with this hardware and on one of the other files I had error 21

If you are using the right file for the right phone, it should work.. also been advised that these files work on tc57 and tc51 too so I don’t know what to say.. these are the common errors…It doesnt Like the SD or you have on your device too old or too new software version.

It should work in TC56DJ .only 2 ways, this one or via command prompt on pc. I don’t know how to do it that way you gonna have to do some research on that.
