Sorry, I got confused with your videos... I have the TC56 with 8.1.0 installed. I want to wipe it out and start fresh. Which of your videos and files do I need? On the Zebra site, they have a full install of the 8.1.0 but it is the non- GSM version. What version do you have? If you could point me to the correct file and your video that would be great! Salutare, am un TC57, avea android 8.1 I am facut un ubdate cu android 11 de la tine, toate bune si frumoase, pana cand acum 2 zile, cand cei de la Amazon au facut ei un update la aplicația și acum nu mai merge sa scanez, se aprinde scanerul dar nu citeste codul de bare! Am colegi care au adorid8.1 tot pe TC57 și lor le merge!! Poți te rog să îmi dai android 8.1? Sau eventual să încerc cu android 13!!! Mulțumesc
I followed these instructions to the letter, I do have a TC56DJ. However I get an error - failed to verify whole file signature. Signature verification failed. Installation aborted. Could this because I'm on Android 6.1, or could you please tell me what the problem is?? Thanks.
I don’t think that the low version has anything to do with the error. I never had this error but I can suggest: try another SD, put the file on the root of the SD and do not extract, use it as it is.
@@GsmTips Yeah i put it on another sd drive that was totally empty and it worked first time. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this help, I can now hopefully get a few more years out of this device before I have to give it up🤩.

What file do you pick up to install? I copy all the files to my sd card, when I pick up a package to install I only see android Lost.dir Meta-inf/ System volume Efsstorage
You have in the description a mediafire link with an archive. Copy the archive on to your sd as it is, don’t extract it. And that’s your update package. No need to put it in any specific folder, straight to the root. Hope it helps.

Why would you downgrade? Not sure anyway on Zebras so I cannot advise. There is a chance to brick your zebra, in that case you lose your data, entirely up to you if you want to try🙂
@@GsmTips not a fan of the white themed quick settings and white toast notifications. Have you got the link to download the firmware for both OS? I've tried to get them from the zebra website but no luck.

I only tested it on TC56-DJ just for you to know. Try another SD I would suggest. File must be kept as it is, do not unzip.
