Some parts don't fit exactly, and the humbucker ring needs to be filed down. The screw holes on the new pick guard might also be a bit misaligned, but nothing too major. Happy building!

Yeah for sure! Whenever I get new guitar stuff I'll make sure to post about it lol. But I don't think I'll go outta my way to buy stuff just for content like I do with keyboards tho, wanna keep it as a fun hobby for myself 😂

Have you printed "Bocchi the Keycap" yet?
The model that Bocchi bought wasn't created just for the show. The PAC611vfmx was a limited run from 2018. It was a low quantity Japanese domestic release to begin with and it's been several years, so they're vanishingly rare on the secondhand market.
The ad you cited was for a special collaboration between the anime and Yamaha where they made a handful of replicas of instruments from the show, including Bocchi's Pacifica, and raffled them off to fans after displaying them in music stores across Japan.

Pretty sure the vfmx doesn’t have the white outline in the pick guard like bocchi’s, humbucker ring is different as well
i managed to find this guitar on the used market but it still has the black humbucker rim. but it looks close enough hehe

My first electric guitar was a Yamaha Eterna Pacifica, so it makes me happy to see the Pacifica regaining popularity
And there's push pull pot to split that humbucker into single coil, pretty versatile guitar. Love the sound in middle position. I have mine in red burst color, which was the original color for the manga version before they change it for the anime

Had the same issue, keep hoping somebody finds a bolt-on humbucker trim ring
Great video, but a couple things to note.
1. P90 pickups are always screwed in through the guitar body, I have no idea why
2. To save the sanding, ensure the bridge humbucker ring has been made for an uncovered pickup, as you can get the rings with tighter radii for pickups without covers.

Peko-chan bgm? There is the Fubuki intro bgm at the end of the video. I don't follow so much pekora so I don't know if before fubuki bgm there is a peko bgm
Honestly the guitar itself is incredibly practical for the type of music Bocchi plays too. The humbucker bridge really brings out the crispness of the distorted lead tones and the P90 bridge will bring out some of the deepness of some of the more subtle pbackground leads.
Its a great guitar. It would be perfect for Doom and Sludge too

As someone who plays a 2011 pacifica 112J i can attest to how good these guitars can be. And they're wonderful mod platforms if you get bored with the standard layout. Found out mine is routed out completely under the guard so im gonna turn it into an HsH monster
I have a 112V myself, nice too but some things are a bit off (it's hard to keep the low E string from buzzing on the frets sometimes despite doing adjustments with the bridge screws; that lil plastic ring on one of the tuners snapped too and something I can't locate makes a buzzy noise in the body sometimes as if it was loose; maybe it's just the one I have which has these misfits (it's also newer than yours, I bought it around early 2020)

How'll you attach the H in place of S? Will screwing in new screwholes be necessary?
@@tg9521 imma make an entirely new pickguard, backplate as well. An it sounds like yours needs a nut adjustment and just a general tune up. I keep both my guitars clean and after 120 hours of play time (usually a month) I toss the strings put on a new pair an intonate em
@@dethmedic52 as I struggle with keeping any practice routine it's hard for me to count the hours but I do change the strings every now and then anyways and clean the guitar(as I don't play so often it doesn't get dirty too fast) at the same time so at least that's one thing I do right, I think
@@tg9521 everyone's different, but my rigs are part of how I make side money as well so I'm constantly "working" on em. My Ibanez custom been needing adjustments with every string change because I'm finally exploring drop tuning.
well now that I see how easy it is to do (in theory), guess ill be saving up a few bucks.
It's incredibly easy cuz most of the setup has already been done by the manufacturer. The hardest part is learning the strat for mounting the spring loaded parts back on

How did you sand down the pickup ring? With a file?
Yup! Just a little bit of sanding required, the humbucker ring is about .7mm not wide enough
i really want this butttt i dont really wanna mess with an 800$ guitar so if i ever do ill prolly just look if i can pay someone else to do it lol
It isn't so hard! I'd say the hardest part is retuning the guitar after restringing it. Since it can be difficult to tune the action through the truss rod and the tremolo, I would recommend bringing it to a shop if you want the action perfectly set for playing!

It's literally not possible to tell if a guitar is intonated by just looking lmao
Yeah, I wanted to not mess it up so I took it to a local guitar shop to get it set up lol
@@daggercatz7297 It actually is with normal set od 9s or 10s with plain G string the intonation is never right when saddles are all aligned like on this instrument in video. They need to follow cascading pattern going longer from e to G and then again shorter for D and to E. For different sets of string and for wound G string it’s different story of course and there are guitars that play OK with flat saddle but strat style guitars are not like that. Cheers mate.

This is the second "Customize a Pacifica to make it like Bocchi's" video I've seen and you both ignored the fact that Bocchi's has a matte black body, not glossy.
You need to sand it down and repaint to truly make it like Bocchi's.
Sure, the sound would be similar but appearance is important, too.

From what ive seen you could also just get a black yamaha pacifica 612v II
Different pickups. P90 in the neck position is what makes this guitar stand out from the crowd in the first place.
No offense but the way you move makes me uncomfortable
