Most of those ppl r either just in denial, have to much pride or maybe they just dont wanna go against their family bc my sisters friend was an atheist but when she came to church and bible study and youth group a few times she said that she wanted to get baptized and turn her life to God but her parents wouldnt let her, she ended up dying a few months later which is rlly sad but I hope she still somehow made it into God hands

God created mankind, god and mankind saved his life. The ice broke because thats what ice does. The boy made a mistake. Jesus dies on the cross for our sins/mistakes. Therefore, the boy ate the apple (took the risk of going onto the ice) but great people and God himself along with great faith from a great mother saved his life. Regardless thank the Lord hes alive and now has more knolwenge then most of us in how precious life is:)
@calendarphotoscamera Canuck God didn't let him fall through the ice. God gives us discernment of right and wrong. We have to answer to our decisions. The kid new it was 60 degrees and the ice was melting. He said in another interview that the ice was cracking and water was coming through the cracks. The kid had no oxygen for an hour. Is that not extended enough for you?
@calendarphotoscamera Canuck and it affected ALL their lives. Life is a lesson, not just for ourselves. Actually the doctors were going to call it as a death when the Mother went to say good bye, so the medical staff had given up

God put us on this Earth to get over things and push through things when life doesn't go our way. God loves everyone who he creates...even those who don't believe in him. He wants us to go to him for things we r worried about or even things we r grateful for. God works in miraculous ways. "God can restore what is broken and change it into something amazing. All you need is faith." Joel 2:25. God is everywhere. I hope u can consider Christianity yourself!

i'm from Germany and John is a great friend of my...i met John's brother from Dayton by online gaming and met John first time in 2009 in St. Louis and visit him in St. Louis August 2017 last time
the message about his accident hit me very hard when i was at work that that day i could't even finish my job that day.

God shows forth his work when people are open to receiving it. Her faith in God is what brought John back to full function. John had that experience to show forth God's power. The doctors could do nothing but nothing is impossible with God.
I just watched this movie with some friends and this movie really touched me. I cried during most of it and I was completely surprised how this young kid survived this accident. 45 minutes withOUT oxygen like really and he survived? Wow! I am too a miracle baby. I was born with a cyst on the side of my neck and had to have emergency surgery and from I was told I wasn’t suppose to make it. The doctors removed 80% of it at first then went back and removed the rest. I literally almost did NOT make it. I was never given the opportunity to be breast fed cuz I spent most of my first days being born in the emergency room. I had a tube in my stomach to help me eat and at first I could test then after a while my sister pulled out the tube I was surprisingly able to eat on my own. Like I said i am too a miracle baby. I literally could have died. I thank my parents everyday for given me a chance to live. God was definitely with me that day. My parents could have given up on me but, they told the doctors no we want our baby so please do whatever u can to help her. I even have a scar on my neck to prove it. This movie really hits close to home. I’m here for a reason. I just don’t know why. John Smith’s mom knew he was going to make it JSU like my parents knew I was going to make it. Just like John said be thankful everyday that ur alive kiss ur parents good night and good morning. Tell them u love them everyday and night cuz u just mite never know when it could be ur last.
I loved how the mom told the doctor that there wouldn't be any negative talk in the room 🙌

I remember the day this happened. I was at school and the PSA went on warning people *not* to walk on the on the ice at a small lake next to our school. I had heard what happened after school.

I meant him at my church one time. It was at Kids first and it was right after we watched the movie. He came out and this man and his mother was amazing
God does miracles, if something bad happens in your life or any others lives, it is not Gods fault, it is satans. God suffers to see us suffer. He loves us all, even though some of us don’t believe in him. We are all children of God. And I am so blessed and fortunate to be one of God’s children. May he bless each and every one of us to the full extent. And bless this traumatic family Lord, who have been through so much already.

I was almost killed in a car where the gas pedal stuck when i passed another car. I pulled on the pedal and the car was going about 65 with both feet on the break. I have a hard time thinking of this even now. I am 62. I just said God please help me and the gas pedal popped up
