I loved asuras wrath. It's presentation is awesome, good story, cool characters, fun to watch. Only flaw was gameplay was soo little, yet fun. It felt like an interactive anime. Wish they would bring this series back. It's capcom's version of God of war and it's awesome.

Because of this, Capcom told the devs to turn whatever they had for the sequel into a DLC. About 7 months ago one of devs made a video about an Asura’s wrath 2 because people were asking him about it and he said they had no intention on making a sequel but they wouldn’t mind remastering the game. But they said that that decision was up to Capcom

Akuma isn't shown with any new skills, and since Oni is still relatively unused, they can make him as powerful as they wish.
People often assume things like "he's got no stamina" because he's weak in game. What they forget is that they had to do that to balance him. In his first SF2 playable incarnation, Akuma was overpowered... and wasn't even Shin Akuma. Fun thing is, they tried to balance him in another version of SF2... and he was still overpowered.

This isn't Dragon Ball Z, stop power scaling. And if you played the full game, you'd know why this isn't the case. Asura's strength is dependent on his anger. Tell me, is Asura visibly as angry in this fight as he was in his fights with Wyzen, Augus, or Chakravartin?

When and where is there evidence of an "Akuma power boost" in this video? *Akuma/Oni can lose in Street Fighter to normal humans, so he can't be that strong.* By that logic, Goku isn't strong either since I can beat him with Hercule. Asura isn't strong either because he can die by the hands of any random Gohma or henchman. *We haven't seen any feats of Oni doing anything Asura does, so he's weaker.* That's an assumption. You saying Oni is weaker because we don't know what he's capable of has the same amount of validity as me saying he's as strong as Asura because we don't know what he's capable of, leaving it up to personal opinion.
My version, trying not to repeat anything and giving some different arguments:

Akuma has already proved he can remain huge amounts of time without breathing in SF3:TS.

People often assume things like "he's got no stamina" because he's weak in game. What they forget is that they had to do that to balance him.
In his first SF2 playable incarnation, Akuma was overpowered... and wasn't even Shin Akuma. Fun thing is, they tried to balance him in another version of SF2... and he was still overpowered.
