Street Fighter takes place most likely in the 90s while Tekken takes place probably in the future. Street Fighter X Tekken isn't canon, and neither is Asura's Wrath. Soul Calibur and The Witcher are in the same universe as Tekken, though. Final Fight, Strider, Captain Commando, Rival Schools, and Saturday Night Slammasters are in the same universe as Street Fighter also.
Matias With Zeku's existence there's heavy evidence that Zeku is the one who founded the Striders, making it so that Strider takes place in the future of Street Fighter.

The only person he's invested in is Ryu since he senses his potential if he gave in to the Satsui no Hado. Heihachi has done some legit evil shit though tbh, Kazuya is just as bad if not worse and Jin's hands aren't exactly clean either. All the Mishimas are morally dubious to some degree or another.

To be fair even if it was a debt akuma had to pay... at the end of the day that's all it was, a debt. Only Akuma fights with Honor. So he didn't throw Hei under the bus...or under the Jacks. They cleaned the Jacks and then went back to their scrap. That was pretty badass from both.
I still think the reveal gameplay was the best way to start the interaction. Akuma shows up talking about people who are dead and then he straight up tells you he has no equal.
Out of all this, they never properly explained how or even why Kazumi saved Akuma, so much so that Akuma came to respect towards someone like her? Because she's a demon? That one little detail is completely missing
I love how Goki never used his true fighting and movement speed against Heihachi. Its like he wants to test his fists at his opponents level. If he fought an ordinary human martial artist I'm sure he wouldn't incorporate any Ki into his attacks and just focus on besting that opponent at his own level.
Don't know why folks here are arguing about Akuma's power, especially those who know barely anything about his character in SF SF Akuma would obviously win against any Mishima, maybe not easily though as the Mishimas themselves are pretty powerful. While Akuma is still very powerful in Tekken 7, he obviously isn't godlike like he is in most games, and he was never shown killing off either Heihachi or Kazuya due to how controversial it would be if a third-party character killed off the main character of their own series. I can't believe no one thought of that, it's that simple. As for whether Tekken characters are stronger than SF characters, some like Dan or Sakura would easily lose to the likes of Asuka or Lei, others such as M. Bison would either be able to destroy most of the Tekken roster with only the likes of a Mishima being able to stand on his level or even beat him. Some such as Akuma/Oni or Gill, are too powerful for most of the roster of the opposing series, and should they go on full power, the only Tekken character that would be able to defeat them is if either Jin or Kazuya has the complete Devil Gene within them (gonna say Jin's more likely, as his Devil Gene is already said to be much more powerful than Kazuya's so he has a better chance should he achieve full power.)

If have to choose to have the Mishima/Hachijos power or Dark Hadou/Akuma aka Gouki power, I will choose the Mishima/Hachijos power because in reality even though it's hard to learn to control both, you still don't want to go into the club looking like Akuma because the Dark Hadou mess your face up.

Yes, and not one but two reasons 1) At 1:58, Akuma told Kazumi about the request of Kazumi (the wife of Heihachi) to kill not only him, but Kazuya also brought Heihachi to the shock and perplexity that he thought through the middle of the battle and even after the defeat 2) The fight continued on an equal footing until 8:44 when Akuma unexpectedly and quickly applied his killer technique called "Shun Goku Satsu" which means "release of the demon" from the translation. Hehyachi did not expect this kind of reception from his opponent and was weakened.

Only Akuma fights with Honor. So he didn't throw Hei under the bus...or under the Jacks. They cleaned the Jacks and then went back to their scrap. That was pretty badass from both.

I still think the reveal gameplay was the best way to start the interaction. Akuma shows up talking about people who are dead and then he straight up tells you he has no equal.

Out of all this, they never properly explained how or even why Kazumi saved Akuma, so much so that Akuma came to respect towards someone like her? Because she's a demon?

CBear624 because before gouki became akuma, he almost died. Then he awakened his demon powers, aka the satsui no hado. Probably because of her.
Then again, there's no proof of Kazumi herself has saved him, so that still doesn't help the fact

I love how Goki never used his true fighting and movement speed against Heihachi. Its like he wants to test his fists at his opponents level. If he fought an ordinary human martial artist I'm sure he wouldn't incorporate any Ki into his attacks and just focus on besting that opponent at his own level.

Don't know why folks here are arguing about Akuma's power, especially those who know barely anything about his character in SF
SF Akuma would obviously win against any Mishima, maybe not easily though as the Mishimas themselves are pretty powerful. While Akuma is still very powerful in Tekken 7, he obviously isn't godlike like he is in most games, and he was never shown killing off either Heihachi or Kazuya due to how controversial it would be if a third-party character killed off the main character of their own series. I can't believe no one thought of that, it's that simple.
As for whether Tekken characters are stronger than SF characters, some like Dan or Sakura would easily lose to the likes of Asuka or Lei, others such as M. Bison would either be able to destroy most of the Tekken roster with only the likes of a Mishima being able to stand on his level or even beat him. Some such as Akuma/Oni or Gill, are too powerful for most of the roster of the opposing series, and should they go on full power, the only Tekken character that would be able to defeat them is if either Jin or Kazuya has the complete Devil Gene within them (gonna say Jin's more likely, as his Devil Gene is already said to be much more powerful than Kazuya's so he has a better chance should he achieve full power.)

I think that they're trying to make Akuma's appearance in T7 seems like it not happened. Like a Genjutsu. No one told a thing about Akuma in T8.

If have to choose to have the Mishima/Hachijos power or Dark Hadou/Akuma aka Gouki power, I will choose the Mishima/Hachijos power because in reality even though it's hard to learn to control both, you still don't want to go into the club looking like Akuma because the Dark Hadou mess your face up.
They fought on an equal footing, perhaps there would have been no winner, but Heihachi lost the match.
Because of the reason? Yes, and not one but two reasons
1) At 1:58, Akuma told Kazumi about the request of Kazumi (the wife of Heihachi) to kill not only him, but Kazuya also brought Heihachi to the shock and perplexity that he thought through the middle of the battle and even after the defeat
2) The fight continued on an equal footing until 8:44 when Akuma unexpectedly and quickly applied his killer technique called "Shun Goku Satsu" which means "release of the demon" from the translation. Hehyachi did not expect this kind of reception from his opponent and was weakened.

By the way, at 12:00 there is a scene where Heihachi knocks out Akuma, as soon as he turned his back to him thinking that he had won, Akuma quickly stood up and barely Heihachi had time to react, Akuma used Shun Goku Satsu against him which only weakened Heihachi (who was still standing on his feet), although most of the others who tested it on themselves died instantly
(for example, Bison and Gouken).
When you play as Akuma at 12:00 this scene only appears when you don't hit Heihachi at the moment of his final powerful attack and let him knock you out.
