i always found funny that akuma wear his Gi after he turns to stone, like at one moment during those 500 years of constant fighting he was like "dude hold up we need to get some new clothes man we're gonna end up naked if we keep this up"
You forget that Asura never changed clothes for over 20,000 years
So the only one with some degree of decency is Akuma/Gouki...You know, the guy who threw away his humanity to become a demon.
I don't think the stone statues are actually them. It's more likely that people noticed two godlike beings fighting there and made the statues to honor them when they were gone. They're legends.

Asura way too strong? No doubt about it. Can someone imagine Asura knocking Spiderman to the moon, then destroying the moon with him(like he did with Oni) while only 50% of Spidey's HP would be gone. Honestly Im surprised they put in Dante, or that Marvel let Hulk in. That Shrek on steroids demolishes buildings with one single punch.. If you put Hulk vs that Trained soldier from Capcom(forgot his name), that soldier should be legit dead after one REGULAR attack. But na, only 5% of his HP is gone instead.
The nerf they would have to do on Asura would be ridiculous.
I would love to see some sengoku basara representation in marvel vs capcom. Imagine date masamune interacting with Dante.

Oni had finally found someone who could outmatch him. Before the Oni transformation, Akuma had only sought out power and someone who could finally match his strength. This fight is the closest thing we've seen to Oni having a wet dream
Daniel Reyes and asura was downgraded a shitload. Base asura cracked and broke vlitra, wich was half the size of the moon.

I will never get over how they fully animated a cinematic fight in Asura's Wrath, of all places, of Akuma/Oni
It is re-using a good amount from the fight with Augus in the actual story.
Seing people who still remember asura's wrath makes me soooo happy...now imagine a remastered version of this game, or asura's wrath 2...😱something that everyone would dream
Asura is one of my top 3 favorite video game characters of all time. Shame he wasn't in Marvel vs Capcom infinite. They missed a really good opportunity to replace Mike Hagar.
It's amazing. Every now and then I replay the Gods of Death chapter or re-watch A life well lived. I'll never forget it.

I like the fact that even though you succeed in teh quick time events it still shows Asura getting messed up
Like, You are trying your hardest but even then they still can get the upper hand

It's a joke about the fact that Oni (Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition) was first revealed back in 2012 (I think?), the Dragonball movie "Resurrection of 'F" came out in 2015(?) which means Oni predates SSJB by 2-3 years.

He did not die. He got reincarnated. In the end there was a cliffhanger where an astroid was going to distroy the town and Asura's reincarnated human form was going to challenge it. The story could be that a mafia kidnaps asuras's daughter becouse asura couldn't pay them to keep his famaly alive. Asura uesed to be part of that mafia. The game could be asura geting his daughter back. Calling back to his demigod years.
I remember some else did a video regarding this fight but I could hardly see it great to know someone else did this and I can see.

A lot of people enjoy watching people fight those who are stronger, because it allows the weakee fighter to push past his/her limits and rise to new heights.
Me personally, I enjoy fights like these, where the opponents are evenly matched. The fight could go on forever and you wouldn't be able to tell who will lose. Like with these two. They keep each other even and are locked in an eternal stalemate. This is a true fight.
