sadly its not a game for everyone, mostly not for casuals. I'm not trying to be the guro of tryhard meta player shit but here's the thing the appealing part of the game is actually trying to play game better and knowing it. From building teams, to actually mastering the characters and their teams rotation, ofc knowing the boss patterns, etc. If you don't like doing this then sadly you'll probably drop the game on a week or 2 you're going to feel like there's no point of playing cause there's really nothing to do except trying to get better at it since the game selling point is combat. this is my opinion as a 2 year veteran player
I have to disagree about PGR being not casual friendly, compared to other action gacha (Aether gazer, HI3rd) PGR has the most straightforward team composition (DPS, tank and medic) and this doesn't change 4 years later You can defeat any boss with any construct, there is no boss locked behind character specific mechanic Almost every modes has "auto battle" Option and the gacha is fair if you don't mind hard pity
@@Briliantless nah you're just not there yet sure team comp in pgr is straight forward on the surface but their right rotations and competitive gameplay is a different matter. You haven't seen gameplay from exalt top players I can surely say you'll see some mind twisting strat and gameplay you didn't know that can actually be done in the game. While aether gazer for example you don't need to be crazy good to attain its peak or optimal gameplay at all. You control a single character and there's no rng nor switching it's the perfect game for casuals, almost anyone can be good at it.
@@yurika-rie Ok,but... Casuals don't play hardcore modes? And you don't need to beat all of PPC to get rewards. Only 10/15 fights. Same with Warzone, just play, get whatever you can, that's it. Same with Norman. You don't need to play on Ultimate difficulties either... The reward differences aren't that big. Hell, even Babel allows you to adjust difficulty so it is piss easy.
9:09 you will get enough currency between S Rank patches to get all of them as a f2p player. Also next patch gonna be S rank Ayla and they will give her for free and then for the next patch there will be a free S rank selector. F2p eats good here
I consider PGR to be a "Fat Goldfish" gacha. Because f2p eats good here, but light spenders eat WAY BETTER. Monthly Passes and Battle Passes are insanely good value.
I've been playing this game from before it was released on Global and I can confirm that compared to any other gatcha game, this one has the best combat ever and it is quite F2P. What i like about the gatcha system is that the game rewards you for playing the game every day! You play and do all your dailies and weeklies, you will 100% get the next S rank character without feeling like you gambled your time for nothing! The gatcha system and the gameplay literally made me stick with PGR and PGR only! I played GI, HSR and AG and quit them all because of the same one reason - failing the pity. Now, since i know you heard about the eliticism of PGR community, I'm here to represent that too and explain why! You showed gameplay of Bianca Stigmata and well, you've guessed it! You are playing her wrong. She needs her core passive to work well, which is activated by holding down the dodge button when the purple lines are around the dodge button. after that, you have the orbs on the top of the orbs that you can use that are 3 of a color. When you have an orb the same color as the one from the above line, you will get a bar at the bottom that will empower her first ult part. Now to explain about the eliticism above: 1. If you do the thing i said above and also learn how each character works, you will have more fun! Bianca for example in her first ultimate part will be way faster and hit way harder! 2. PGR is not an easy game so playing the way you do when you reach end game will make you quit the game because you will always die and for some modes, you won't have enough damage to finish in time! 3. When you get to play Pain Cage and Warzone, you will compete against other players for rewards, so the higher the score you have, the better the rewards. The better the rewards, the faster you will level up your characters, so the grind will feel more rewarding, which in turn will keep you engaged in the game more. So yeah! I love this game! Who wouldn't love a game that has literaly DMC combat in it, ON A MOBILE! You can watch the famous motivated alpha vs twins and do a reaction video! That is the peak of what PGR has to offer! And that character is coming to global in February!

F2p friendly my ass, sure, wait 3 patches of farming and u can get S rank at full pity essentially able to get every S rank. But the cost is 3 patches of waiting. F2p ain't never gonna get 6 star weapon without significant luck, u wont get 60 + 90 pulls in one patch pfft, best bet around 20~30. That doesn't mean it's super f2p with only 60 pity. And you're basically entitled to play every single day like in honkai. The events, and so on is just similar how honkai works. And it's repetitive. I don't really see what is the gameplay. PGR really is a goated game. Best combat of any action RPG gaccha currently avaliable, and this isn't debatable. One of the best OST ever, I am particulary fond of the Trance/Electro pieces. The story starts slow, but it is still good at early chapters, to become quite good after chapter 8, really Hype after chapter 12 and mindblowingly awesome after chapter 17. the story steps up. i got back to the game after a while this month and about chapter 6 as well damn from it to where i am (13) the monsters got cooler the bosses crazier. PGR is one of the more comprehensive gacha games I've played in a little while because of the recommended gear. Most times I struggle figuring out what to put on someone.
Casual player here 、 the best PGR has to offer is you can basically Get all new Characters incoming in global (including CN server) by just playing daily missions.
All that i needed to hear was "Not Opn World" thanks! (For same boring thing i didn't played hi3!, its the same thing - maybe weathering waves though, seem they doing genshin stuff there!)

Enough basic cards to garrantee an S from the basic banner in 40 pulls ( so u can no the elemental team u want to build first) 2. And then they give u two!!!, i repeat TWO (FREE S rank selector) with one coming in the feb patch to complete ur first meta element team or (u can get ur waifu from there i guess 🤷) NOTE: u can pull on alpha coming in feb and get her meta tank (vera garnet) from the S rank selector and finally get liv lux which is farmable to get ur lightning meta team. Also April we will get an lightning amplifier to get a stronger meta lightning team. Also this song 4:31 is from EX00 found in the side misson section after completing chapter 8 nd the song is definitely a banger 🤝
GOD DAMN THAT MUSIC! Lol, I wish I would actually stick to the game, but my attention span for heavy combat is lacking too much. I like ez mode games with good story nowadays. (Genshin Impact)
Hey man I know Genshin doesn't have fun challenging combat BUT HoYo can do it and have done it in HI3 >:C (Not to sound like a cringe Hoyo defender though, but I love Hi3 too much)
Story gets great after chapter 10 imo 9 and 10 aren't bad it's just i don't like them much But yeah story from 1-8 is boring Also just like any community there are good and bad side to PGR community. If you're bad people will just make fun of you using Skill issue As for Gacha since he has only been playing for a month he wouldn't know but PGR gacha is separated into a saving patch and a pulling patch. A saving patch is normally after an S rank is released (like how Lee was released this month) the next patch will be either an A rank or a Free S rank so you can save up for the next S rank. During the save patch you can get a minimum of 7500 to 10000 gacha currency which is 30-40 pulls and he already said the pity is 60 so with good management you can theoretically get every character as long as you continue playing You have 2 months to save up whenever a new S rank is about to be released so that's an easy 60 pulls And don't make the same mistake as some CN players did. In the future there will be 2 Saving patch don't get greedy and pull because after 2 saving patch is litterally 2 pulling patch

Just remember to do your dailies, warzones, and phantom pain cages every day, I usually finish up an hour on Monday (because that's the busiest day every gacha game in general) and Thursday is usually on 30 minutes or less.
I'm probably one of the few ones who enjoyed even the earlier chapters of the story but I got to day, it'll just get better forward. PGR isn't for people with Yowai personality 😎 Please enjoy PGR however fits you and if you're not a competitive players, just get the character you like to play and enjoy it. My only suggestion is to build same element team to make your gaming experience better 👍👍
The mythical threshold for the story getting good is on average is Chapter 9 but I would say that it in reality Chapter 10 There is no mandatory characters in PGR but the newer character are much stronger and flashers in general newer character require you to have less skill since you just deal much more damage, that said you can beat every boss just using your starters if you are good at the game The gacha is constructed in the way that if you do you weekly and daily every time then you can get new S rand(6 star) characters with every patch and the 60 pity gacha is always there

@@shirouwhitesometime event give you weapon banner selector or non selector banner. I have enough 10 pull on non selector banner. Im f2p. I also have bianca sigs and her pet. Ayla pet too. In 2 pull. Ayla is on the way. 30k more currency.
I’m playing a lot of games but none have the smooth fast gameplay of PGR that’s why I keep coming back to this game it’s a great game.
PGR is one of the more comprehensive gacha games I've played in a little while because of the recommended gear. Most times I struggle figuring out what to put on someone.
Recommended gear is a nice feature. you don't have to stress trying to figure out what works on who.
Casual player here 、 the best PGR has to offer is you can basically Get all new Characters incoming in global (including CN server) by just playing daily missions.
All that i needed to hear was "Not Opn World" thanks!
(For same boring thing i didn't played hi3!, its the same thing - maybe weathering waves though, seem they doing genshin stuff there!)
beginner path is very juicy youll have all the mats you will need, multiple character selectors, oh and if you dont know who Alpha Crimson Weave is....you should, and shes about a month out.
I play this game 3 years ago,i stop playing but return in 2021 with new account cuz of a good story and got motivated by new design and alot f2p events.i still playing till now.
Definitely
F2P player be eating good
As a new player, just by playing and lvl up a little can get
1. Enough basic cards to garrantee an S from the basic banner in 40 pulls ( so u can no the elemental team u want to build first)
2. And then they give u two!!!, i repeat TWO (FREE S rank selector) with one coming in the feb patch to complete ur first meta element team or (u can get ur waifu from there i guess 🤷)
NOTE: u can pull on alpha coming in feb and get her meta tank (vera garnet) from the S rank selector and finally get liv lux which is farmable to get ur lightning meta team. Also April we will get an lightning amplifier to get a stronger meta lightning team.
Also this song 4:31 is from EX00 found in the side misson section after completing chapter 8 nd the song is definitely a banger 🤝
story gets good around after chapter 9 or so
GOD DAMN THAT MUSIC! Lol, I wish I would actually stick to the game, but my attention span for heavy combat is lacking too much. I like ez mode games with good story nowadays. (Genshin Impact)
Hey man I know Genshin doesn't have fun challenging combat
BUT
HoYo can do it and have done it in HI3 >:C
(Not to sound like a cringe Hoyo defender though, but I love Hi3 too much)
4:25 the only reason to play pgr
Wholeheartedly disagree. Maybe the initial reason but not the only reason
Story gets great after chapter 10 imo
9 and 10 aren't bad it's just i don't like them much
But yeah story from 1-8 is boring
Also just like any community there are good and bad side to PGR community. If you're bad people will just make fun of you using Skill issue
As for Gacha since he has only been playing for a month he wouldn't know but PGR gacha is separated into a saving patch and a pulling patch.
A saving patch is normally after an S rank is released (like how Lee was released this month) the next patch will be either an A rank or a Free S rank so you can save up for the next S rank. During the save patch you can get a minimum of 7500 to 10000 gacha currency which is 30-40 pulls and he already said the pity is 60 so with good management you can theoretically get every character as long as you continue playing
You have 2 months to save up whenever a new S rank is about to be released so that's an easy 60 pulls
And don't make the same mistake as some CN players did. In the future there will be 2 Saving patch don't get greedy and pull because after 2 saving patch is litterally 2 pulling patch
good to see more content for PGR
You all must really love powercreep, I guess.
Its a must play game, casuals or tryhands are welcome. Try it out yourself even if you think youll be trash on it or not your cup of tea, leaving is understandable but playing it forward is appreciated. I just really support the devs of this game and I don't gatekeep, just try it out! Absolutely play with curiosity but don't pressure yourself to learn immediately. Feel free to make mistakes, learn your combos, read lores, try out many characters!
hello, planning to play this game but i saw a comment saying it's not for casuals
should i still continue to try out the game?if so any advice you can give me?
@@wonderingarchon4526 I consider myself a casual, as long as you're passionate and dedicated to learn the game you can definitely dodge your way to victory dud, you can avoid the hardcore stuff like Norman or Babel, it's 100% optional.
@@wonderingarchon4526 you can learn about the core passives and team compositions as time goes but if you're willing to watch tutorial then I suggest you watch Rexlent or Spider2B's guides.
@@freykiva3887 oohh thanks a lot ^^
looking forward to learning the game slowly ( tight school schedule t^t)
@@wonderingarchon4526 don't let this game pressure you, if you're from SEA then it refreshes every 3pm. I still haven't done my pgr dailies today because I do digital freelancing but I still own like 80% of the Pgr roster by just managing the time. Just remember to do your dailies, warzones, and phantom pain cages every day, I usually finish up an hour on Monday (because that's the busiest day every gacha game in general) and Thursday is usually on 30 minutes or less.
The only reason I started playing this game because it has some complexity in its gameplay.
I'm probably one of the few ones who enjoyed even the earlier chapters of the story but I got to day, it'll just get better forward.
Also, the amount of end-game in PGR fits my taste, from the weeklies to the rogue lites and the others like border pact, golden vortex, etc.
As for the art direction, I actually prefer them than the generic maximalist and colorful look of literally 99% of gachas. Kuro is brave enough to actually go mininalist a la MGS or Nier.
With that being said, hope you have fun and welcome to the community. This game is my top gacha, not even Genshin or HSR did it for me.
This is literally the only gacha game i play, mainly because the character design is actually good and to my taste. It had great music, art, and not to mention, my wife Bianca.
PGR isn't for people with Yowai personality 😎
Please enjoy PGR however fits you and if you're not a competitive players, just get the character you like to play and enjoy it.
My only suggestion is to build same element team to make your gaming experience better 👍👍
story gets better in chapter 12
Man of Culture using Vera footage
Vera is easily top tier!
story gets better after chapter 10
That's like saying "Starfield gets better after 12 hours"... Not helpful in the least. Try "It's good NOW, just let it cook".
@@atrocious7766 it does get better after chapter 10 i dont know what u want me to say, its really boring before that + no cutscenes
It really does though. Story telling get better in ch9 afterward. @@atrocious7766
sadly many pips out there suffering from a disease called "Skill Issue" so they can't stand playing pgr for long
U kinda must play that game in 2024 lol alpha is comming rl soon
This game, is whay dmc mobile wishes it was
More colours are something I wish PGR has. Some players on the other hand are really against it.
welcome!
it really is pretty good.
The mythical threshold for the story getting good is on average is Chapter 9 but I would say that it in reality Chapter 10
There is no mandatory characters in PGR but the newer character are much stronger and flashers in general newer character require you to have less skill since you just deal much more damage, that said you can beat every boss just using your starters if you are good at the game
The gacha is constructed in the way that if you do you weekly and daily every time then you can get new S rand(6 star) characters with every patch and the 60 pity gacha is always there
Mind sending ya ID. Whats ya server. Wanna coop?
Love the game but the story is so depressing and the bosses hit like a truck 😂
The random skills button put me off playing PGR, though I'll revisit it again someday.
It's not too hard, it's Candy Crush, while dodging and hitting the basic attack button.
the orbs are so fun and unique to play with, it's very different from a standard skill based button, but it's fun once u get use to it
U just need to get used to it
Pgr offers challenging fights so the challenging aspect is to be expected
its definitely more fun than your standard cooldown skill system if you know how to play
@@yurika-rie agreed
Game like PGR feel better than some boring openworld game.
They now to big and to much nonsense side quest 😢.
How to download☠️
I'll wait on wuthering waves
I wanted to get into this game but the combat just felt very weightless and floaty for me, happy for everyone who enjoys playing it, though
If it was on console I would I'm not into the mobile gaming
sadly u wont be able to feel the feeling of nier patch in pgr. it was very hype. sadly i think... the game wont rerun these collabs but they did like a rerun before and thts it
