I already knew to pull off the adhesive cover strips when the piece was positioned. However, it never crossed my mind to tape the piece to the car after positioning it. It’s simple things like that that can have a major impact on installation. It made installation east peasy for me last night. Thumbs up! Thanks for the no-nonsense, get-right-to-it video.
Great content! I just installed the Ikon Motorsports front lip following your tutorial today. Btw, ETS muffled axleback, highly recommended. And just my other 2 cents, the subaru OEM window visor looks awesome.
@@tecnomovil1463 subispeed sells the 6 1/2 inch one, and they have one specifically color coded, granted its 130 bucks more but im waiting for mine, should be here monday and im excited.
almightyaleks if you’re talking about the blue tape, it’s just painter’s tape to hold everything steadily in place. I used electrical tape just as easily. However, if you’re talking about the adhesive on the back of the vortex generator, it’s comes already applied. You just remove the red strips to apply the piece to the car.

hey i have the smaller antenna and i purchased E751SVA000 oem vortex and it has a huge gap? can u tell me which part number is yours?
i guess because my wrx is not from the us, neither one will fit ...my antenna measure is 6 1/2..... long
@@tecnomovil1463 know this is really late, but some manufacturers make ones for jdm, adm, cdm, and usdm. Always ask your dealer if they have any.

Realistically yeah, that 3M absolutely does not come off unless youre trying to get it off. I've never tried personally but I'm sure itd be fine
