You know Nick is the big dog in Yachtube because when MB&Y tried filming this yacht, they were on board with every other person looking at it and here Nick is on a private tour.
This is a confident builder and very practical. 1. Shoes on. 2. Mention correct all in price. Straight talking no nonsense quality people. Kudos Marex and Nick amazing review as always. Price is good 👍
Marex has raised the bar, yet again. What a well designed, constructed and fitted out boat. Each area feels purpose built, even when sharing space with another area. Looks quite sturdy and able to handle a growing family or a couple who like to party. Thank you Marex and Nick for the tour.
i think for that particular model.. €1,041,000 is a steal, you get everything you saw there, everything is getting more expensive but this is a beauty of a boat, when i win that quadruple rollover on the euro millions im getting one hahahaha@@urosvranic4930
Well, Nick, you've done it. You've found the perfect boat. Manageable size, incredible features, great looks. It's just amazing whast they've managed to fit into a sub 50' boat. An office space! A full kitchen! Four or five fridges! I'd absolutely have the three cabin layout, if only to have a space for the kids to sneak off and play. It's Galeon-level ingenuinty with a simplistic practicality. Props to Marex for the pricing honesty, too. That's very refreshing to hear.
This is one of the nicest boats I’ve ever seen on your channel. The design of this boat is incredible, the attention to detail is incredible. Would love to see the two cabin layout someday.
Brilliant is the word! What a great boat! The woodwork is so warm and luxurious. Everything about it is so well thought out and it has all the bells and whistles, it’s no surprise they sold 3 on the first day! Great tour, thank you Nick!
There are many rich people out there. 450 people had a look at this over 1 million euro yacht in one day. Apparently taxes are not high enough or the loopholes need to be closed.

This boat is the most amazing cruiser I've seen in years. If I had the money, it probably would be The One !!! Marex hit it out of the ball park with its 440.
Unadorned with extraneous frippery, this boat gives you everything you need and nothing that you don't, whilst exuding a mature sense of style. It deserves to win awards and I am sure it will be showered with them.
Absolutely impressed by Marex yet again showing just how practical their designs are, and useable all year round in northern climates. Great review again Nick.
Love all that seating around the high low (swim) platform. Be wonderful to be at anchor, zitting there, taking the occassional dip, just enjoying a nice summers day. Amazing for a boat of this size.
What an outstanding boat. The stern is one of my favorites for this size range of boats. I don't know why more builders don't adopt similar enclosed systems, it just makes sense. Though the 2 cabin layout would be tempting, I like this 3 cabin design. That port cabin adds so much versatility, laundry/utility room, interior lounge, storage, and, oh yeah, another cabin. Love it. Love this boat.
As you said Nick they are raising the game, it seems really simple to be able to use without much prior boating experience as everything is designed so well. Brilliant tour thanks!
As a complete novice to the world of boating…. Love watching your videos nick no complications straight forwards dialogue. If I could afford such a beautiful boat that would be the one for me and my family. So practical…. Well done to the guys who built it.
Fabulous yacht! Love all the clever features, from the solar panels to the built-in canopies to the front ladder - all exactly what you need. I can definitely justify the price on this boat. Thanks to you and Marex for a wonderful tour!
Wow I have a marex 360 and I thought you couldn’t get any better and they bring out this little beauty absolutely stunning boat that looks even more clever
Thank you Nick! I hope they sell absolutely loads of these, so that in 15+ years time it might be getting closer to being an actual possibility. Marex do a really good job of giving you the things you need without the gimmicks. Going manual on so many of them results in faster operation and I am also confident that they will working in 10 years time too. Nice job.
Great to see you fired up Nick! Thank you for this tour! Awesome boat - Marex is now by far my favorite Scandinavian Manufacturer. I own a Nimbus boat (not at all this big and new) but OMG this is on an other level (if you compare the modern counterparts). I always loved the 320, 330, 360, 370(3) and 375 - but this! Dream on water!
Hey there Jonas, I have a 1992 Nimbus 35DC, and completely agree with your comments. New Nimbus boats have gone in a different direction, but Marex have stayed true and innovated in a more practical way, keeping the quality!
@@danielcookeb90 Daniel, thanks! Yes. This is unfortunately not the way forward for Nimbus boats, at least not for me. But perhaps more slimmer boats that are more fuel efficient is something that sells. Sure valid point if you use your boats as a commuter, or for speed. But for Scandinavians that runs the engine between 50-100 hours a season, the efficiency of the hull is not as important as a more practical and voluminous interior. I know Nimbus still sells the coupé versions, but the are far less innovative than this Marex (all marexes).
What a fantastic boat from Marex, very well thought out with loads of practicality and nice touches. I'm not surprised they sold 3 on the first day. I'd probably go for the two bedroom option so the master has a much bigger more practical en suite. But overall a fantastic boat that also benefits from solar panels. Thanks Nick, really enjoyed that tour...with shoes on to.
i would totally agree!!! you wouldnt want more than 5 people on there tripping over each other and the extra size for a better En-Suite would be amazing, im sure that would be a bit extra but really worth a few grand more :)
I like the fact that the builder wanted the real, as shown, price. I wish all builders did that. Very nice boat, I almost didn't watch this because the boat looked rather boring in the thumbnail. I'm glad I did. Thanks, Nick!
Another great tour and what a lovely yacht. I'm thinking that it's more suited to warm climate boating. Although it has draw curtain style canopy and as lovely as it might be, the main living area is basically outdoors and thinking of our UK climate, it might be a juggling act to manage this area with heating / cooling / fighting condensation etc. with no sound proofing as well. If the neighbours in the marina are in party mood but you want some peace & quiet, there's nowhere to go other than the cabins.
No gimmicks, innovative, practical, quality driven, safety focused (but not obsessed), single handed ability, well done MAREX! Blown it out of the water, again! And those IPS's giving fantastic performance! I have an old, solid, 35ft Nimbus that I'd trade up all day every day, and not feel intimidated! Just to find the million now!
I like how the seating area can be opened or closed so easily depending on the weather. I also think it is clever how the swim platform lowers into the water. They have packed a lot into a 44-foot boat.
Marex! Well what a fab boat....the cruising speed made me exclaim an oath!! That is some serious speed for cruising. The cabin layouts are superb, great helm and spacious excellent cockpit....for me the use of that grey and black wood effect MDF makes the boat below decks look like a VW camper van....I'd have hoped for something higher spec. The golden high gloss of 70s and 80s boats would make this a winner....guessing the buyer could specify that finish for an increase in price. This is a seriously nice boat. I really love it. Excellent tour as always Nick. Wonderful to see this beautiful and desirable boat.
I have to agree with Mr. Monigold. Nick is in a class of his own. Nick it a true boat owner, whom you would love to buy from when he decides to trade up to his next purchase. This Marex 440 reminds me of a 1970's Chris Craft, with modern upgrades.

That ‘Gourmet’ layout would be fine for the Med but I’m not sure about all year round use in the UK. All the social face-to-face seating is outside, albeit capable of being enclosed by a canopy. Looking at this boat on the Marex website I would much prefer the ‘Scandinavia’ layout. I actually had my first opportunity to get on some Marex boats at the Southampton Boat Show earlier this week and I was very impressed with both the 310 and 330.
I thought the standard throughout is superb, it’s not just the well designed layout but the fit and finish too. It might not be the best or biggest boat but there’s something reassuring about the way everything works so well. I think you could have a few variations as was mentioned in the video but the version here is a good one. The decking is super and clearly designed for rugged conditions. There’s no bad thing on the boat, I wonder how many variations there are, it’s going to sell very well and deserves every success.

Intimacy is underrated, that's the real luxury!
I *love* this layout, a fully heated and airconditioned rear cockpit means that area does not go waste during early spring / late autumn no matter if you are in Norway or in the med - if it's cold you're just going to leave the canopy permanently up anyway.
