I do like the Magellano line, roomy and comfortable. Love the cockpit, and fly bridge, facing couch design. Even more, love it in the salon dining design. After all, it really is about the view. My original thought was turn the day head into a utility room, and I still like the idea. Having said that, the crew cabin design is about useless, and I am a huge fan of crew cabin/overflow/storage space. Maybe have access into there from stern storage locker? Make that your utility area? With the separating wall between head and bunk areas, ruins it all. Love the boat, and your outfit, Nick.
Absolutely agree. Ever seen a crew area where you need to go through the bathroom to get to the bed? And I find the exposed wooden railings outside problematic when it comes to maintenance, just like the wooden lid on the toilet in one of the bathrooms. Also, I find the seat upholstery throughout to be very average. For 1.7 million euros one should expect those things to be adequately designed and of higher quality...
My thoughts on the crew cabin loo is that it becomes a wet room facility for swimmers, particularly when there is no crew on the trip.

I think that is a lovely yacht, like the colours and finishes, the lounge area is really nice and so is the master cabin. Decent sized engine room too. Great tour Nick much appreciated.

Most yacht designers in the smaller class of boats usually takes a cut and paste approach but not Azimut. They concentrate on everything to the smallest of details, and by doing so they create masterpieces. It takes a masterpiece to explain the masterpiece, and it's you Nick!

Thanks Nick. I'm getting used the trick features you get on Galeons and the new Fairline but this has a really nice feel to it without being flash. I particularly like the seating arrangement in the saloon.

Love the styling, especially how they've used the elongated oval shape throughout the boat. The hull windows in the cabins, the mirrors at the bottom of the stairs & in the owner's en-suite and the galley cabinets above the hob/cooker. Really subtle and very nice.

Hi Nick, Hmmmm your entering your Michael Portillo fashion sense period🧐 A great offering boat, Italian styling shines out again 😎 even forgive it for a rear galley layout, which incidentally is generously speced. It's allowed a generous salon area too and a clever multi directional TV. I really liked the semi trawler stance of the boat too, northern waters friendly I would say too. An occasional errant daughters/sons partners dog house crew cabin too. Overall I give it a 10/10 score. Cheers DougT
Nice Tour Nick, thx. The inner Dinette and the Storage behind a bit more aft, so that you have more Spase on the lower Helm. It needs a Sidedoor next to the Helm. And i guess some bigger Tanks would be good too.

The grab bar on the high-low platform is a tripping hazard! I've worked in architecture for nearly 40 years so I can't help but notice such things. The grab bar should be retractable when the ladder is not in use.

That's a lot of boat for sub sub 2 million. Amazing visibility on the main deck. Great top speed, great range at displacement. I liked the many seating areas....great to see seating on what would normally be the tender deck. The 'crew cabin' would be excellent for a teenager who wanted his/her own space. The flying bridge looked very comfortable. Very very nice. Thanks for the tour!

I can never understand why more builders do not have a door near the helm seat so pilots can assist in docking and mooring. It’s one reason why I prefer trawlers to fiberglass fortresses.
The central column for the hardtop is what stood out to me the most; I think that's a great way to do things. Why obstruct the view on both sides with chunky supports when modern materials allow you to support the hardtop in a much more minimalist fashion?

Azimut put out a teaser months ago maybe a year ago now and the anticipation to see you do a tour of that vessel kinda made it disappointing to see you do this one first. This is a lot of boat for well under $2,000,000. Very nice finishes with lots of real estate and good power. Yes Nick your colors are very much in step with the modern Italian style.

I think I would be disappointed if you ever started giving us 'professional' tours Nick. What you give us is much better. Comprehensive, interesting and 'personal' tours.
As for the odd second day heads. It is perfect for the one doubt that always plagues me when you see the day heads ensuite to the second cabin. "What happens if I'm in cabin three, have to get up in the night, and whoever is in cabin two forgot to unlock the hallway door after they used it?" 😄

Thanks as always Nick. After watching these videos forever you’ve finally given me my must have list. If it sleeps 10 it should dine 10. The cockpit seating should always face the water, it should be built to handle rough seas and the crew quarters should be built to guest specifications. Probably should just by a car instead lol

I wondered why the plates were under the helm seats instead of in the kitchen area and why the wine cooler was in wall at the stairs instead of somewhere more practical. That reeks of 'lets stuff it in there' instead of thinking about it logically...
What I really like is the interior design. The Italians have a real knack for that. However, I'm not a fan of these crossover boats. But great tour again Nick. The socks are the hit. ;-)

Was browsing the Offshore Yachts 65 CE online this morning. That's one under 20mtrs I hope you get a chance to tour when it's available.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but it's always good to see a new Azimut with their sprinklings of Italian style,over all a nice 60ft boat but struggling to understand 3 cabins and 3 heads but not all on suite 🤔 Mr Burnham sir just finished watching your colab with Mr Seal,a great upload to watch and I very much enjoyed it,but Nick I would have loved to have seen the actual tour more Aquaholic stylie ,David having a cameraman they seemed to miss the nocks and crannies unlike the master, all the best from Cornwall 🤗👌🖖

That kitchen area is big enough I'd be tempted to put a small dinette and a few chairs there, because I really don't care for the 'dining' area in the saloon. It seems like most people would sit too low with their knees up.
Also, Nick I must disagree about those doorknobs in the lower deck. They're too thick, too stubby-looking, and seriously clash with the decor. It's like Azimut paid a lot of money for them to use on a different project that was cancelled, and decided to use them in Magellanos so their money wasn't wasted.
That's a nice yacht. I'm glad I'm not wealthy, b/c I'd have a hard time finding a 60'er that I could self sail. Thanks for the professional showing Nick !
