- Israel has rejected accusations of committing genocide in Gaza, as it wrapped up its defence at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
This comes after South Africa asked the top UN court to order Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah. The hearing is part of a broader case accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, which Israel has repeatedly denied.

Israel is not doing a genocide as it is a war or any war is genocide however you prefer. But regardless of this amount of casualties is low considering the type of war which is urban in HD populated area. If the IDF would be running this war with goal of committing genocide then amount of casualties would be much much higher ...
International law dictates whether actions in war are lawful or not based on a specific set of criteria regardless of the type of warfare. You should get a basic understanding of this before commenting such nonsense

First of all, 7 months is a long time. And we don't know the state the bodies were recovered in. I assume they were quite decomposed if they needed forensic analysts to identify them.
And even if they were all bones, bones can last for a very long time - heck, we find dinosaur bones from literal millions of years ago.
Beyond that:
Bodies don't decompose as fast in air as they do in the ground, it takes the right bacteria to break them down and there isn't as much of them in the air as compared to in the ground.
Most of the tunnels hostages were kept in also have low rate of change or air, which slows down decomposition further.

I don't know enough but other factors might have affected it like lack of nutrition (some barely got any food - hostages that returned talked about it, some maybe were starved to death), maybe other factors.
That's what the forensic analysts are for.

The UN could improve the situation by providing logistics and protection for aid distribution instead of the IDF. But they won’t because they would be involved in the same situation as Israel with the same challenges and disappointment. Easier to blame Israel for everything as H a m as terrorists claim. The very countries demanding Israel to distribute aid could show up in blue helmets and do it themselves. But it would undermine their narrative as they come under fire repeatedly for trying to do the right things.
The UN isn't blockading the border crossings to prevent food comming in and murdering aid workers.

I don't understand South-Africa, all you need to do is bring up the West Bank and tie the ones committing genocide there to the Israeli state (what is happening there can also be considered genocide, forceful relocation, erasure of culture and/or language, genocide can be many things, just look up the definition of genocide if you don't know). That angle would have been far more feasible to prove since there's no active warzone there and I bet there are Israelis living even there who do not agree with what is happening to the Palestinians. Hamas has been stealing a lot of the Humanitarian aid from the civilians and barely gave any to hostages. That's why US built a dock to supply aid directly and why the IDF is securing aid trucks so Hamas can't steal it

I've worked many Festivals and concerts, security is a factor at locations in risky areas usually take precautions or, oh i don't know, AVOID inviting thousands of people to an area where apartheid is highly enforced, because it's risky...because people get angry when you opress them!?

Israel broke the ceasefire last year which was seeing hostages being released, and Israel has been starving Palestinians to death, if Palestinians are starving and being pounded by bombs, wouldn't the hostages go through the same thing? Your buddies in Hamas has on video shown to prevent civilans from leaving buildings and areas which Israel explicitly said they are going to bomb, just to create dead innocent people. So Hamas are killing the Palestinians and then blame Israel. The world has failed to help Israel deal with these terrorists, and now the Palestinian people are taking the hit for it. Not that a large portion of the Palestinian civilians hasn't brought this on themselves by supporting Hamas, giving them shelter and using their "innocent" bodies as shields from retaliation.
