Hello all! Have you ever smelled any fragrances from this line? If so, do you have a favorite?? I’m VERY tempted to grab a bottle of Angelique Noir! 💗
I have only smelled Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Angelique Noire. I chose the former because I was really curious about it. Not disappointed.
What’s a good place to get samples for these? I feel like they’re hard to find.
@@lmpnw2836 I was able to buy mine at Holt Renfrew as well (different location). I emailed the company, and it seems this line is exclusively sold at their counters. Not even online.
I’m not even sure; I haven’t found any until I bought from the store; probably holt renfrew or Guerlain boutiques I think!
Angelique Noir is my absolute favorite fragrance from this line. I love SDV? But omg AN is to die for.
Angelique Noire is the one I want. I like the new packaging so I’ll probably treat myself to this at the end of the year.

I have many of the Arts of Materials line in the older bottle ( AN, SDV, TI, IG, IT, CB and RB) and truly love them all.
I like Tonka Imperiale the most, followed by SDV. There are so many good ones in that collection. Rose Barbare is really special also. I'm glad thay gave you a deluxe sample--especially since you spent almost $1000 on those two bottles. Also I wanted wanted to mention that these wear more of a skin scent on me after 30 mins. I love them so much but wish they were a bit stronger.
I have samples of this line and fell in love with Cuir Beluga. I think I’m going to start saving for it. I love vanilla and expected SDV to be the one but I don’t have the same experience that mist other people have with it. To me, SDV is sharp and sour smelling, it really puts me off. Cuir Beluga is the opposite, so soft and sweet. Love the personalizations too ❤️
Great video! I have TI, IT, CB and NO in the old bottles. I LOVE all four of them. I don't think I will get any others considering the new pricing 😱
Wow, I loved this review. I am waiting for mine. I am not happy with the price increased because the old bottles were absolutely beautiful. Glad I purchased my Angelique noir before all this changes.
I ordered pera granita and received spiritueuse double vanilla and cuir beluga as samples. And you guys…hummm i am fell in love with Cuir beluga. I will buy i big bottle. Its a love love love

I tried Rose Cherie and Angelique Noir. For me Rose Cherie is a soapy clean Rose smell. Not a seductive, deep Rose but a very pretty powdery one. Angelique Noir surprisingly reminded me of VCA Orchidee Vanille, but without the orange note and added angelica.

Pink is my favorite color but I wish they had a darker pink for these bottles because of the dark juice color. I will be getting it in Red. But if I get the rose I will get the pink.

I sampled sdv and angelique noir. I expected to like svd but angelique noir is sooooo much better. I'm glad to have discovered it and will buy a full bottle

this I do not know! I have yet to smell that one, I have only smelled an inspired version which was ok but I am sure it is nothing compared to the real one!

Angelique Noire is hands down the best vanilla perfume on the market! You will not regret purchasing it! Btw could you kindly check whether the miniature bottle has a spray nozzle? I'm thinking of getting the miniature collection of 8, but I hate having to dab perfume out of a tiny hole, so definitely wouldn't buy it if they don't come with a spray head.
The mini does not have a sprayer no. It’s a dabber :/. I too wish it was a spray

do you think angelique noir is a safe blind buy?
I love SDV but have the same problem as others who have commented - the lasting power is terrible. After around 1.5 hours, you cannot smell it on me, it is not even a skin scent, it is nothing, like I am wearing no perfume at all and I have since sold my bottle
wow that is crazy because I smell it for quite a while on me - and where I spray it in my room, that area of floor or fabric etc anything near it smells like SDV all day when I walk back in. I suppose everyone's skin is different - do you ever spray on your clothing as well? I spray all over if I wear a perfume not just one a couple parts of my skin. But even with SDV it is definitely there much longer than 1.5 hours.

I have SDV in the older bottle and it’s my favorite coz it’s simply the best vanilla based fragrance in the planet, my only issue is that it’s weak in projection, i guess SDV is the best fragrance in this line, i didn’t like Angelique Noir despite the hype around it, just smell it and try it many times before you decide for it. By the way, what size is your bottles ?
you can say its name like this: “Speghetoos Doobel Vanee” in the french accent
I don’t see the hype around SDV, my favorite vanilla is Kayali 28. I tried it, all I get was a screechy metallic sickly vanilla. 🤢

Wow Guerlain got greedy and trying to milk this line. Thank goodness for the hype huh? The old bottles looked better IMO. These ones look a little bit like the Tom Ford bottles. And for 300+ bucks the performance SHOULD be there… I don’t care about the brand name the artistry the ingredients the fairy dust. It’s like getting a BMW and they be like hey this car will last you for a week but hey you are getting this for the brand name the prestige! You shouldn’t complain. 🤦🏼♀️
Your fragrance came without cellophane because you had it personalized but when you order the standard color it comes in cellophane 😉 nevertheless beautiful presentation
Oh thank you so much! I heard from Sebastian with Smelling Great that they are not going to be using cellophane anymore:) not sure how true it is!

She will get rid of it if she hasn’t already. She mentioned before she wants the real deal and not dupes
@@alepou200 okay, was just confused because in the Julianas perfume video she said she preferred the red carpet affair over the Angelique noir when she compared them side by side. I was just wandering if that verdict has changed
@@rouzellecoetzee4890 yes I remember too but from this video I would say she changed her mind. She repeated she prefers the real deal than a dupe even if the dupe preforms better!
I would prefer to answer this question rather than have others answer for me - I still have red carpet affair and initially I preferred it to the real thing because it was the first version of this scent I'd smelled. I love it; it's a very light every day version of Angelique Noir. The real Angelique Noir is a bit deeper, a more full bodied version which I think is better for night time. I've decided going forward for my collection I will not be investing in inspired versions anymore.
Not because they don't smell amazing, but because I have sort of developed a new perspective on this topic. I feel that the original perfume is a work of art. The artistry and effort to create the original scent by the original perfumer is very special and I want to support that. I also want high quality. I have decided that I would rather spend more and get the real deal. Quality over quantity :). Red Carpet Affair is still an amazing scent but going forward I will likely only purchase the real version. :)

I own Angelique Noire and love it.. I've smelled and had testers of SDV and Cuir Beluga, and love both. But AN is my favorit of those 3 😊😊😊

The new bottle design is ok, but from the threads and front label sticker, and the plastic cap,we can notice the finishing quality is just medicore.
