Honestly, it's really frustrating to see such obscene prices from Guerlain (and from the perfume industry overall). It just turns me off, because I am sure that those Extraits will not be better than Shalimar or Vol de Nuit Extrait. I am still curious to try Tonka and Iris, but I doubt that I will buy anything from that collection. On the other hand, I have Bois D'Armenie and Tobacco Honey in the mail, which I can't wait to for them to arrive 😁 As always, great video! 👏👌

Smelled them all yesterday in Paris! Iris Palida is my favourite, soo beautiful and potent! Elegant, very easy to wear. After two days of test wearing this scent, I am ready to get my bottle tomorrow:)
Correction: the Gourmand Coquin re-release is called Fève Gourmande (and not Fève Tabou as they changed the name in the end). The re-release of Gourmand Coquin smells different as the dark chocolate note is less prominent than in the Elixir Charnel formulation. I get more spices, smokiness and tonka beans in the re-release. Fève Gourmande has already been released in Bruxelles.
They were pre-sold at the "Salon de Parfums" perfume exhibition and sales event held in Tokyo in October, and I actually tried them. All of the scents definitely had a luxurious feel to them. Bergamot was a new citrus perfume experience for me. It didn't have any of the tartness that citrus notes often have. I was surprised that the vanilla was not overpoweringly sweet, which is often the case with perfumes of this kind, but it still had a rich impression. Tonka had a profound and soothing scent. I liked Tonka and Vanilla, but Rose was also excellent!
Yeah, I've also heard of the relaunch of Gourmand Coquin. But the sales associates at both Bloomingdale's and the Guerlain boutique near me seem clueless. They never know what I'm talking about when I ask them about it.

I sampled new Vanille Panifolia 21. It’s a soft ambery balsamic vanilla scent. I will try layering it with Angelique Noir. Not sure if the new Vanille is a full bottle for me. I am a little underwhelmed
I loved Jasmin Bonheur. It is so lively and green and almost a chypre. I’m thinking of splurging on the large bottle. I’d like to get my nose on the Jasmin Grandiflorum before I decide.

I tested the Extraits in Dubai a few days ago but the Feve G was still not there. Guess it's there now but can't sniff anymore but hopefully it's available at duty free in Dubai.

The prices are insane, but I've never smelled a perfume more perfect than the bergamot 😭 it lasts all day and smells so delightful. I am very sensitive to scents but don't get sick of this. I'm running low on my sample and I might be crazy enough to get the bottle..
Why release gourmand coquin and not IRIS GANACHE !!! That one was my favorite and I still miss it every day 😢 Also I wish Iris + leather of Iris Pallida extrait can replace my discontinued Cuir Cannage 😍

They’re not all masterpieces. Just high concentration perfumes that makes it expensive. The tonka might be worth the price given that no one really does vanilla like guerlain. It’s truly beautiful. For a masterpiece try portrait of a lady by Dominic Rapion. That one is a true work of art
Are all of guerlain L'art & La matière fragrance unisex? ( besides tobacco honey) it seems like every sample fragrance from that line that I've bought just so happens to be unisex. idk what to do
On regard Feve, smell awesome but do not last much on my skin. Anyone else feel it does resemble to Cacao Porcelana from Atelier Materi? Maybe is just me 😂

Compared to the Chanel pure perfumes for 240 EUR/15 ml the Guerlain prices for the extraits seem to be pretty fair. 😅

Iris Pallida blew me away. Iris is front and center backed by a touch of creamy sandalwood and powdery musks. Beautiful scent.

They are available in Singapore! All are very good but the tonka is fantastic and definitely worth getting.

I purchased the Vanille Plantofolia at Saks a few days ago. No other vanilla comes close in my opinion...maybe YSL Babycat.

Tobacco honey is incredible. The sesame and oud make an almost savory buttery counter to the honey. Amazing.

Tonka extrait is my fab, smell delicious and seems last long but not loud. It didn’t blow me away and the price tag is ridiculous. It is a NO for me.
Feve would make sense cause it’s a cacao scent and those also comes from a feve de cacao (probably there are typos 😅)
