The new Guerlain is too overpriced for me. I was able to get a bottle in the original packaging of Angelique noir before it disappeared. I’m happy with that.😁

How much did it cost before?
My Angelique Noir arrived this week-such a beautiful, festive scent. For me, angelica note evokes the smell of pine needles, of glittering winter woods, giving the fragrance a dark fairy tale vibe. Perfect for the holidays. And I love their customizable bottles-gorgeous through and through.
Neroli outrenoir is so gorgeous!! On my skin its a masterpiece and leans to feminine side. Love it to the max.
Angelique Noir is always a complimentgetter! I love it😍, especially for the winter time
Those mini bottles are so adorable. I would barely want to use them in order to keep for presentation.

My favorite. Found it years ago in NY Waldorf Astoria and have not looked back.
I love Angelique Noir and Cuir Beluga (vanilla and suede). And I'm obsessed with Sprirituesse Double Vanille. I saw the small bottle set on their site that you got and I really wanted it but it was a little too expensive for me. I am getting a couple small decants of Tonka Imperiale and Bois Armenie for Christmas. Really excited about that as I've never tried those 2 from this collection. I'd also like to try the rose scented ones. Oh and its so nice to hear someone else who doesnt like neroli!!! I thought i was the only one! Every time i get a perfume where neroli was a prominent note I'd dislike it. I also sadly feel the same way about orange blossom (similar) and tuberose. Which sucks because those last 2 notes seem so popular nowadays. Especially orange blossom! I do like Love Dont be Shy, but i was really worried i wouldnt for that reason. But its crazy how I can identify that note. Its so potent and clear to my nose every time.
I received those same 10 ml sample bottles in their beautiful Christmas Advent Calendar. They are so gorgeous, but I wish they were spray bottles instead.
I got my Angelique Noir OG yesterday, after I had a beautiful Dupe from Julianas Perfumes. But I really wanted the old bottle and waited now over a year, till I found a new one! I’m really happy with that. I gifted that one to myself for Christmas. I also have Cuir Beluga and Tonka Impériale in the old design. I love the L‘Art et La Matière Line!
How does the Juliana Perfumes dupe compare to the real deal, scent wise and performance wise? I have the dupe myself and am considering purchasing the real deal.
I sampled & loved Pao Santal Rosa but I wanted to sample more of the collection to vett a scent at this price point.
Cuir Vanille sounds great for a bedtime scent.
Screw-on bottles (dabbers) are a big disappointment. I'd prefer spray. I won't pay $360 for 10ml dabbers. The liquid might evaporate quickly. Is there anyone who actually prefers dabbers?
To be honest I'm disappointed by their rebranding and the subsequent price increase. The jacked up price for the same juice....I have an old bottle of SDV that will be treasured

Guelain private line is a line I have been a little intimidated. I don’t know what it is… jacked up price point or the relaunch… 🤷🏻♀️

Beautiful bottles and the leads can be purchased independently depending on the perfume collector's taste. But unfortunately extremely pricey.
Took a while for the Cuir Beluga to grow on me, it wasn’t a love at first sniff but I love it now. I have purchase full bottle just yesterday, can’t wait to get it. It’s so good. New Guerlain Shalimar Millesime Vanilla Planifolia has similar vibe.
The Spiritueuse Double Vanille reminds me to 99% of Nuit et Confidences (the Guerlain is a bit louder than the Goutal)
I have them both so now I have to go and check!!!

Don’t you think this smells similar to love don’t be shy but better? Maybe my nose is off but I think it has the same vibe but so much better.
I am just literally contemplating these two! They do have some similarities but I think love don’t be shy is more spicy and angelique noire is sweeter. Tbh, I think Angelique Noire is more well put together and more mature and classy while don’t be shy is more girly and summertime-y.

Some say that it smells softer, sweeter and it’s less potent. But I don’t know it it’s true, but I heard that from different people :(
@@novemberrain3380 oh no i was dying to get my hands on the old bottle… but it was all sold out and the ones from ebay was heavily expensive ( may be double or triple the price)…. Bad luck to me😪😪
@@Journalwiths Not everyone smells a difference! I already tested it in the store and can only remember that I liked it a lot, but also, it seemed more sweeter to me. Though I liked it!
The scents smell nearly identical to me. I have the older bottles of Angelique Noir and Tonka Imperiale, and the newly purchased versions are very close (maybe not as deep, but that can be due to the natural aging of the scent).
It’s not reformulated. Smells the same to me
