some people have been so conditioned that they will never see things differently, as you said, we feel sorry for them too but blessed that we have woken up to it.
Please don't presume to know what others are thinking, that calls for the operation of their mind. There are some ppl who just have a miserable face, but are not miserable, and some with jolly faces who are quite miserable ‼️ Do YOU ever say hello ?? Don't judge just because they don't ... once you engage in conversation you may find they are very friendly 🤔🤔

Folk have got different social battery levels. lot of January blues being felt especially if you back on site over winter gotta pick the grapes before you can drink the wine.
Hi Mark, yeah i think as time goes by we see more and more of the deadpan people, i don't think you see many joyful people out there. Maybe i'm wrong it's probably just Peterborough lol.
Hi Mark, I reckon the people who look at you with sorrow in their eyes are maybe a bit jealous? They may be thinking ‘ I wish I could do that’. You’ve done it, I’ve done it and I know who is the most happiest in this shitty world…..us!
I like the times when someone looks at you (me) sorrowfully, or with bemusement, because they obviously feel you're an oddity in the little world inside their heads. Someone to be pitied because you haven't got what they've got, or you've somehow failed in life. They can only see and judge other people through the narrow window of their own limited experiences. It used to irk me years ago, bringing out my own feelings of inadequacy, shame, low self-esteem... but only because I was living in the 'matrix' of what is considered to be 'success' in life. I know now that's a lot of bollocks. The types you mention can also be seen in the checkout queue at supermarkets... the ones who don't even make eye contact with the cashiers, or they give their false smiles, patronising looks, etc., compared to the real people in life... engaging with others, not looking down on them, but acknowledging our fellow humans and getting the same respect and common decency in return. As usual, Mark, you call it out for what it is in this strange world of ours. 👍
That about sums it up, LOL. I'm not even in a van and I see those types of people in my life all the time, especially when I am sitting on my porch in the summertime. I lived in this house almost 40 years. My mortgage is paid off, car paid off, no debt and yet they still walk by and look at me like I am the poorest person on earth and should have more. I don't want or need more! I live almost free. I still have property taxes, reduced because I am a senior, I have utilities, water and garbage but not much else. I don't spend much money, just when I need something for my pottery. But I won't go in debt for it, if I don't have the extra money to get it then I really don't need it that bad, LOL. I am happy and at peace. I don't socialize any more, getting too old to put up with other people's bullshit, LOL. Happy Days Mark!
I was visiting a National Trust property today. The staff on the gate asked me if I sleep in my motorhome? I said well I do when I"m travelling in it!!!! 😊 going back to my sticks and bricks in a couple of days. So that will be over a month, this time. I love it. But I do get some funny/puzzeled looks. I think due to how I dress while on the road. I am so happy and content being a Roamer!!!
Everyone seems to be so miserable, However, I have had a few people stop and ask about the van, more so when I am parked up where there are a few dog walkers.
Great insights ! When you're trapped in your conditioning/the system, there's only ego and the ego judges everything without awareness. It's completely automatic and reactionary. It's so automatic they are completely oblivious they are doing it. Many are so trapped in their own ignorance they see anyone ' different ' as a threat . That's how much of a control freak the ego is. Simply by wearing ' different ' clothes you have immediately threatened their ego and narrow worldview. Tattoo's, living in a van ? Well, you've completely blown their little minds lol. How dare you !
Because you can never know how ppl are going to react I went 100% stealth, I had a business in a complex of others, when management discovered I was living in it they banned me from parking on the premises even during working hours, I was a criminal/undesireable instantly in their eyes. Since then the ignorance of ignorant ppl has been my bliss, a boring truck is invisible everywhere outside of residential areas and I am careful to share nothing with the government or strangers about how I live my life.
I've noticed that most people who are programmed by the matrix see living in a van as one step away from homelessness/living on the streets, unless it's a van that shows you have loads of money of course. It's a sad realisation how many people respect you based on expressions of wealth, albeit only in monetary terms. But there are those few that appreciate the wisdom in this lifestyle choice and probably long for simpler life too if only they had the courage to break out of their chains, so to speak.
I dunno about always being kind to people you know. People walk all over you if your too kind and dont respect you. Its basically people pleasing....and people pleasing can lead to some extremely dark places unfortunately.
