Hey man I've watched probably every modlist showcase of yours in the past day or so, finally went with this one. I had two questions if you end up seeing this. First, when you played it and added "Survival Options" was "NPC leveling" part of Magnus? Second did you use an ENB at all? The modlist author says he wont support them they can cause crashes for some, was curious if you did. I've used Survival Options and an ENB before and was happy with both of them.
There’s a New Vegas list that includes New California that you can travel to. But if you’re asking can it be added to a fallout 4 list, unfortunately not as the game engines are too different
@@DroppedIceCreamMods Sorry for the late response, and thank you for you reply. I wasn't asking if NC could be added to FO4, just any of the NV wabbajack builds. I could have chose my words better. I did see the Wabbajack build you were mentioned too, but while it awesome, I chose to go with The Vault Courier. I will be trying the build with NC included in the future though. Also, another dumb question. In this video when you said that you uninstalled the Sanctuary Hills Overhaul, do you have to actually uninstall it, or can you just deactivate just in case you want to use it later? I'm still learning.
@@T0XICMASCULINITY I did deactivate the sanctuary mod, although I’d be careful because I *think* more stuff has been added since I’ve played that would mess up the game if you deactivate it. So I’d just leave it be honestly.

Try this guide: docs.google.com/document/d/1EbZ_DpyhctsrpBlylDYc2TXtm1NAOjkcYjRCNZsC958/edit This 'should' work. Also if you want immersive hud as well, you'll need the TRUBY9 Drf_UI Fix.
I got this & used a different ENB, shadows are pixelated & the draw distance of shadows is low even though everything is set to ultra, I’ve tried redoing the sliders in the steam launcher manually setting everything to ultra but still pixelated and low draw distance, my nvidia control panel for fallout, everything is set either off or application controlled, anisotropic filtering on 16x & have mfaa on. Did I miss something in the install or is it one of my settings? I have an I9900k & 3070 ftw3 ultra with 32GB ram 4000mhz.
Huh, I think I wrongfully overlooked this modlist. So many of the modlist authors' descriptions are so boring and unhelpful that they make me dismiss them right away, but your video here might make me install this modlist in the future. I think it might have just been because of my bias of being extremely disappointed with the base game, even at launch. So I assumed that any modlist that doesn't radically change it up was boring. But I'll give this a try.
Cool Channel full of comparison mod lists. I am taking right now a first Fallout 4 wabbajack mod list after I tried some great Skyrim SE modlists like Aldrnari. So what you would recommend to start with FO 4 modlist? I am aiming for good combat, immersive quest adding and gorgeous graphics as well. Atomic Warfare maybe?
Thank you for this review! How is this list holding up after a year? Is it being updated? This seems similar to A Story Wealth, do you have any opinions on that one? I'm deciding between the two.
Is it safe to add more weapon mods without needing to extensively patch/merge them? And did you sort your mod loader order after installing iHud and Survival Options manually or with LOOT?
Firstly, never use LOOT with modlists, the authors have sorted out the correct order of everything and LOOT will completely ruin it. I just left the added mods at the bottom of the load order and they worked fine. As for adding weapons, there's a long guide of how to add them with no problems, but yeah it's veery long. Honestly if you really dont want to go through that, and dont mind running the risk, you could use your best judgement and add some weapon mods. I would avoid any that add new ammo types or have some complicated level list integration. But if it's a simple 'add this one weapon into the world and that's it' then youll probably be fine. Plus even if it doesnt work, uninstalling a weapon mod usually is fine if its not on your character at the time. Could you please do Tinvaak or Elysium. I currently play opus, Elysium and living skyrim but I've heard tinvaak is closest list to a survival build. I always thought about changing game to survival on opus but was too fearful. I guess I'll try it on my new playthrough and add immersive hud also as it annoys me having screen mess
can someone point me at how to install those two additional mods (fallout four config manager and ultra quality godrays fix) into the mod manager for this pack without breaking it?
Afraid I’m not sure why it’s not working for you. I used an ENB so maybe that had something to do with it? Otherwise it must be some annoying vsync setting somewhere
I got a Magnum Opus modpack, installed latest ENB and Vogue ENB and it doesnt work. No changes in game and Shift+Enter doesnt work. Any help? Its the first ENB doesnt work for me in any game.
Apologies for late reply, but I'd say this one once you've added an ENB. Life in the Ruins also looks good, and I imagine Welcome To Paradise is pretty similar
@@DroppedIceCreamMods I want to try them all honestly lol I've only ran WTP. Life in the Ruins definitely looks the most interesting to me. I think I'll try this one before Life in the Ruins though. Great video by the way.
have you ever considered making a modpack? with the concise and high quality videos you make i think you could make some really finely tuned packs for ppl to play :)
As much as I’d like to, I’m honestly not very good at making stable lists. I’d need to look into solving mod conflicts instead of just ignoring them. But I’ll never say never!
I shall do! I’m waiting for Enhanced Editions next big update which is apparently soon, and I checked yesterday and the Paradise was down, but as soon as it’s back up I’ll get to work on it!
It might be worth installing the Welcome to Paradise modlist first then. It focuses mainly on performance and quality of life features, and you can adds some mods of your own on top. If you really want to try Magnum Opus, it might still run fine for you but you may have to turn some settings down or switch off the enb
It's pretty large, coming to about 140gb total. If you optimise the textures it goes to more than that but once you've optimised them you can delete the files and it goes back to 140gb.
@@DroppedIceCreamMods Thanks for the reply. Do you think it’s fine if I install this on a hard drive or should I only try to install this on an SSD since it’s a little faster with the loading times?
@@anaveragecommentator7020 I would recommend installing Fallout 4 on an ssd because with all these mods it really struggles on a hard drive. But you should be able to install the actual modlist onto your hard drive and run fallout 4 on the ssd. This would make load times long but for the most part it’ll be fine.
ive played the game like a 100 times, this will defo make for a new experience...the modlist is at 618 mods rn. My game crashes at 200 mods. Lets see how it goes lmao. downloading all this with a free nexus account, is a pain
Afraid I’ve not come across that one. If you’ve kept all the mods downloaded, it might be worth installing the list through wabbajack again for a clean restart, without having to download it all again.
How did you get this working smoothly with that ENB? I've installed it and now I'm getting 15 max fps even though I have a Ryzen 7 and a 3060 I had to uninstall Fallout 4 and download it again because it was literally unplayable
If you run the fallout 4 config tool from the modlist folder (if it’s not there then install it), I had shadow resolution and draw distance turned quite far down. Also the godray fix mod saved me around 10 FPS. I can get you the exact settings I have when I’m back home in a couple days. Also feel free to let me know your specs of you want. Annoyingly at the end of the day Fallout 4 is difficult to run smoothly but there are things you can do.

It uses ModManager and yeah just add the mod into it like normal. I usually just keep them at the bottom so I don’t mess up the load order. And no I don’t have any creation club stuff but I believe on the lists wabbajack page there’s a section that talks about creation club support
looks great but couldn't figure out how to stop the fps drops and nothing i've tried fixes it...
great vid. just what i needed.
btw does an ultawide fix come with the modpack?
Thank you! The fix came with my version, but I'm not sure it does any more?
This guy seems to have written a guide that sounds right to me: docs.google.com/document/d/1EbZ_DpyhctsrpBlylDYc2TXtm1NAOjkcYjRCNZsC958/edit
@@DroppedIceCreamMods thanks so much!!
This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to successfully add Fallout New California to any of the Wabbajack builds? That would be insane.
Lindrum on Wabbajack for Skyrim SE
As of right now it's down due to recent updates with Wabbajack/Nexus.
I’ll definitely look into it!
Are the new weapons and armors lore friendly? or are they like twenty first century tactical guns and gear?
Hello ! i have a ultrawide monitor just like yours, 21/9 ( 3440x1440 ), i just wanted to know, how do i actually activate 21/9 in the option since its offers only 16/9 and 16/10, and do you have specifics mod to remove certains bug that come with the Magnus Opus modpack ? thanks alot !
Try this guide: docs.google.com/document/d/1EbZ_DpyhctsrpBlylDYc2TXtm1NAOjkcYjRCNZsC958/edit
This 'should' work. Also if you want immersive hud as well, you'll need the TRUBY9 Drf_UI Fix.
@@DroppedIceCreamMods Thanks alot man ! great content btw ! :)
I have an I9900k & 3070 ftw3 ultra with 32GB ram 4000mhz.
wonder how i can get my hands on an RTX 3018
It was a secretive release.
Great review! Did you use an ENB?
It was Vogue ENB - www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42?tab=files
@@DroppedIceCreamMods Thanks, will give it a try!
Hmm, where did you get that RTX3018? :D ( 3:14 )
Some guy in a dark alley sold it to me
What did you do to get Ultrawide Screen to work? Also, I keep getting the rusty face glitch, and I'm not sure why.
Truby9 ultra wide mod
Thank you for this review! How is this list holding up after a year? Is it being updated?
This seems similar to A Story Wealth, do you have any opinions on that one? I'm deciding between the two.
pretty sure it's an on going project

@@DroppedIceCreamMods Ah, thanks for the tip!
Check back in a few hours for Elysium ;)
can someone point me at how to install those two additional mods (fallout four config manager and ultra quality godrays fix) into the mod manager for this pack without breaking it?
Any good wabbajack list that combines the combat of Enhanced Edition and the gameplay tweak of Magnum opus?
Can you share your setting for the mod survival options ?
Afraid i've had to uninstall the modlist since, but I think i had damage values around 2, and i made hunger/sleep/thirst much less frequent
Can i run this modpack with a 1070 and i5-10500k 32gb RAM ? Can you put Jetpack on normal armor?(no PA)
Afraid I dont know about the jackpacks, but I believe you'll be alright with those specs
i tried to install it but its under maintenance hopefully its updated soon
Yeah that’s the one downside to wabbajack, but Magnum Opus is usually good with updates being quick
looks like the mod list i am gonna use
You sound a lot like Brodual friend
Woah I never noticed that but you're right! I'm like a higher-pitched Brodual
how do you unlock fps? im stuck at 60 and cant unlock it with all the normal steps.
Any help? Its the first ENB doesnt work for me in any game.
enb isn’t supported according to the curator
All that stuff from Magnum opus is also in Enhanced edition ?
What list has the best looks?
Please also do Fallout 4 Enhanced Edition and Welcome to Paradise!
I shall do! I’m waiting for Enhanced Editions next big update which is apparently soon, and I checked yesterday and the Paradise was down, but as soon as it’s back up I’ll get to work on it!
how was you able to remove anoms sanctuary hill overhaul? when i removed the mod it broke concord and everything flickers and disappears
Sorry yeah I think it’s something you can’t remove anymore. I’ll leave a pinned comment left people know for the future
Is there any place to see the full list of mods it has?
It’s a bit awkward to use but here: www.wabbajack.org/#/modlists/search?machineURL=magnum_opus
anyone know overall how stable this mod list is like does it come with a good amount of CTD issues?
I still use it now and I almost never have any issues!
my PC can handle modded skyrim pretty well, but ive never tried modded fallout 4 on my system and this one having over 500 mods worries me
It might be worth installing the Welcome to Paradise modlist first then. It focuses mainly on performance and quality of life features, and you can adds some mods of your own on top.
If you really want to try Magnum Opus, it might still run fine for you but you may have to turn some settings down or switch off the enb
Are you using a mod for 21:9?
Whats the total install size for Fallout 4 and this modlist? Does anyone know?
Yeah this modlist, with a couple of my own addons, is the main way I play Fallout 4 now
Can you do Wasteland of Depravity? Obviously blurring out the sus parts?
I am having an issue uncapping the frame rate with this playlist in particular
best wabbajack modlist reviews still thanks man!
After installing Magnum Opus i have no voices or movement of the lips in the game, someone can help me? T.T
Afraid I’ve not come across that one. If you’ve kept all the mods downloaded, it might be worth installing the list through wabbajack again for a clean restart, without having to download it all again.
@@DroppedIceCreamMods I fixed it already rewriting some lines in the INI edit of MO2 and in the steam options, thanks anywais :)
@@JamaRift how do you do that
Bro you should do a Modlist tier list or something
Do i have to play it on english ? Can i play it on my native language though ?
How did you get this working smoothly with that ENB? I've installed it and now I'm getting 15 max fps even though I have a Ryzen 7 and a 3060
I had to uninstall Fallout 4 and download it again because it was literally unplayable
Do you have Bethini? I run this load order on medium settings+enb on a gtx 970 lol
This modlist doesn't install for me. Keeps telling me Textures 2.ba2 and Textures 1 ba2 are missing or broken and unable to download one or more archives.
