We did away with U Bolts instead use a 10mm plate top and bottom with four 12mm grade 8.8 bolts with Nyloc nuts
The U Bolts often break on the corners

I went to the tip back in 1984 and the roads were dirt tracks, there were no vans, and believe me it was super remote then, today is like a freeway, and just not the same as I remember it. Also you should name and shame that guy, if its the honest truth, do it, help out future people, this guy seems to take advantage of people and thats not right.... he better not run into me, cause I won't be so nice.
Would have loved to do it back then! And I didn’t want to name the guy because after all it is his livelihood, yes he was a Wanker, completely! But the job he did ended up getting us home.
