Vulnerable. There's the word. The reason why I haven't been in a relationship so far is because I can't bring myself to give someone the power to break me (in case they leave me).
+One Heck Of An Adventure I did watch it after you mentioned it. The talk is pretty much based on my life story with one exception. She talks about people labeling themselves as unworthy (due to shame and fear of rejection). I, on the other hand, have the opposite problem. I find others not worthy enough to reject me. Call it arrogance but that is my situation.
Sunny Singh Kudos for the video content! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (probably on Google)? It is a good exclusive product for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 after many years got cool success with it.
Lovely Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good exclusive product for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend Sam finally got amazing results with it.
@Chan Janie Great Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin at last got amazing success with it.
Great Video! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (do a google search)? It is a good one off product for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy after many years got great results with it.
Kudos for the Video clip! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my old buddy Taylor finally got astronomical results with it.
The mature couple looked so enlightened. Soulmates for sure, I felt perfect understanding flowing through their glances, and I hope every couple takes the effort to understand each other like that, as well as fear loosing each other.
I cried! How lovely these couples are to each other. I will keep that in mind, that passion, intimacy and commitment are aspects of love, and they aren't always present.
Thanks for the Video! Sorry for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Millawdon Varied Nights Trick (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning intimate questions to make your relationship stronger without the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cooworker after a lifetime of fighting got cool success with it.
I have recently learned about SoulPancake, and I have been watching numerous videos a day, and they instantly shift my mindset into one of positivity. I absolutely love these videos. Thank you for creating soulPancake and for putting these videos together.
I first know about soulpancake is through the their video " how to connect with anyone " and then I start to view videos of soulpancake. To be honest, i have tear drops in almost every the science of love series video. Me and my other half were in a long distance relationship, and I am very insecure about our relationship but we both know we deeply fall in love with each other, which is a blessed things. We have been together 20 months now... we only have the chances to see each other when the school is on and we break apart during semester break... we booth cry together when we know we are not able to see each other faces in the next morning, it is a hard time to deal with after graduation which will happen on the coming May and which made it worst is her birthday fall on May 31 and by that time she might be back to her hometown. But now I saw all these videos and it makes me happy and feel positive about our relationship, I can't wait to watch again with her company next time :) thanks soulpancake for these awesome videos, subscribed.
MrRiceball LDR takes a lot of work, time, and understanding. Just make sure to communicate, and everything will be alright. Don't let fear into your relationship, and learn to have the hard conversations while apart, and cherish your time together when you can.
So beautiful and at the same time it makes so sense, everybody who is in a long relationship knows how difficult is not let the relationship to get into a rut! It is so important to always remember that passion and intimacy is not something that you earn and will last forever, it is a day-to-day conquest! To fall in love is to easy, but to keep this feeling over the time, takes a lot of commitment and respect. But in the end, if you have what it takes to live with one special person you will see that it will worth every moment you spent with the one you LOVE!
I looove the fact that when you talk about intimacy you don't mean sexually objectifying. (Im messed up by media). Wow. Thank you. Actual love. Intimacy - [In-to-me-see].
Today I opened up to a new woman in my life, she makes me so happy and actually feel good about life and the future, that I had to let her in. It turns out she feels the same about me as I do for her and I owe it all to opening up and showing vulnerability to someone I barely know. Who knows what would have happened if I hadn't said anything? All I know is I'm with the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and she's all mine :) I love you soulpancake, you make our days better without even knowing how you truly influence our lives. Thank you all involved :)
"One of the most important things to know about love is that it never stays in the same place. Intimacy and passion rise and fall with the stresses of life. So, if you feel the drop now and then, don't freak out. It doesn't mean the relationship is broken, it's just the nature of how love works." Thank you for saying that.
If you are who you are all time, you'll immediately know that the people who enter your life are there because they genuinely like you for you. Pretty simple yet so hard for us to do
Another warm, sweet episode! It's like hot chocolate! I would have liked to see Julian go deeper into the three components of passion, intimacy, and commitment and define each of them more explicitly. Maybe we'll hear more about it another time...
What strenght do I bring into our relationship? When was the time in our lives when our relationship needed more attention? How satisfied are you with the amount of time we spend together? What is one way we could be a better couple? What are you most scared about our future? What is something that we used to do that you miss now?
I find that the book "The Soul Mate Illusion" shows us the deep psychology of how what often seems to be great romantic love turns out to be a bubble that bursts . . . an illusion. It suggests that early patterns of the bondings of infants recreate themselves in adult romance. Thus there is a simplistic projection of a perfect bond (or a deep need for one) with the partner that makes for a misperception of seeing the real, full, complex adult person with whom we are trying to be intimate. If we understand this patterning, we will be able to cope better, and learn much, when the illusions of love reveal themselves.
Thank the heavens for Soulpancake, one of the Internet's few uplifting gems. I highly recommend that anyone that likes this read the Bassoon King, by Rain Wilson, the creator of Soulpancake.
As I watched this I thought about the spark in their eyes: I saw normal people with passion for the people they love. This is truly the meaning of life.
Intimacy is the hardest part. It's like allowing some one to look into a river that is me and not trying to move fast to avoid allowing them to see the bottom of me or further down my path. It's literally being still and saying that another person can look in-to-me-see all of me.
Very Cool!! . One of the biggest obstacles that either breaks down a marriage is lack of any of the three. But, the most important is the ability to communicate openly with each other.
Watched both segments and think they are well done. As an Uber driver, I drive young couples and singles - gay and straight - around for hours on end and and end up talking with them and overhearing a lot of fascinating bits of interactions. I am constantly struck by how most people want the same thing but sometimes are afraid to ask for/expect it. Staying on a superficial level - passion only - won't last.
i came across this randomly It was so beautiful to see the love between two individuals, for me ive never been in love im completely scared of it and closed off from it but i see how beautifully chaotic it seems to be that may it could be in the cards for me one day
The most important thing about a relationship is learning, knowing , showing, and being 100% truthful to the one you love without boundaries and not letting anyone or anything get in your way top mess it up.
My girlfriend, of 5 years, and I are going through a rough time at the moment. I think having one of these Q and As with her would definitely improve our relationship. I'm glad I came upon this video:)
i think we would learn ALOT more from people over 50, 60, 70... married 30, 40, 50 years... people who already got through the "fear" spoken of here...
From 22 till 29, I was in two long term relationships...back to back. From 29 to 31, my present age, I've been willfully single. It's been great....but seeing shit like this makes me miss being in a relationship. This is the good stuff. Of course there is a bad side, but I guess everything has that. I would miss my independence though. Being able to do ANYTHING I want without permission, guilt, or mutual decision making is...nice. :)
You always have to love when sweet videos like these get such negativity. Of course it isn't the whole equation, why do you think this is an ongoing series and not just a single video. There are so many things that go into making a relationship work, but this is sorta the holy trinity of romantic relationships.
I love your videos, they are amazing, really makes me think about the most important things in life. Its so good to see videos such as this. Keep up the great job!
I have cried without fail at every one of your videos, I swear to god my heart is hurting right now Also, it must be said that you look like a beautiful woodland elf :)
Let me start by saying this channel is very interesting. Nice job.. in many ways. I have two main questions about "love" tho but I'll share only one: how about ppl that can love several person at the same time? In order to clarify that, one must think within the paradigm that it actually really is the case for some ppl. But Im pretty sure it'll lead to my other question of 'what love is' which I've seen a video of but is still a lil confused about.
These videos are great, but sometimes relationships are broken. Theres nothing wrong with that and a lot to learn from it. I bet this is going to get people to hold on to something that is potentially toxic.
"And I don't feel bad about that because this is science." Julian you're fantastic. I love this series, this video actually made me tear up a bit.
Vulnerable. There's the word.
The reason why I haven't been in a relationship so far is because I can't bring myself to give someone the power to break me (in case they leave me).
+Sunny Singh Heard of Brené Browns ted talk on the subject? The bomb man.
Projection maybe? There could be something wanting to be seen, hidden in the unconscious. (Outside world often mirrors what we have on the inside).

it's very heart-warming, watching people in love.
I was thinking the exact same thing.

they were all mature couples there. Who do you mean?

I cried! How lovely these couples are to each other. I will keep that in mind, that passion, intimacy and commitment are aspects of love, and they aren't always present.
This one actually made me cry, the couples were so in love and positive and romantic each in their own way.... AHHH IM SUCH A SOFTIE
Me too! This is so sweet!

how did it end up turning out?!
"Have the guts to be vulnerable."
Nicely said, Julian. That's a lesson I need to take from this video...
Why is SoulPancake and Julian always so adorable? This series always leaves me with a smile on my face and a bit more hope in humanity.

531 days, that's cute of him :)
Cinnabar fake
I honestly felt like he thought he was going to be asked a question like "how long have we been together? "

I just love watching these cute couples, they look so deeply in love with each other.

You should do one on The Five Languages Of Love. It's a cool love science I reckon.
Your researches are so positive. I love you for helping me understand love more. May God bless you! And you are great at what you do. :D
that was one of the most enlightening videos i have ever seen.
This video gave me so many smiles!!!

God damnit SoulPancake. Make me feel the feelies.
THESE VIDEOS MAN *TEARS*
I love the fact that mostly they're interracial couples featured
Soul Pancake, thank you for being amazing.
These videos are great, but sometimes relationships are broken. Theres nothing wrong with that and a lot to learn from it. I bet this is going to get people to hold on to something that is potentially toxic.
That is a possibility but its better be alone and happy and alone then unhappy with someone
When I want to know the secrets of love and intimacy, the first person I consult is always a man in a lab coat.
keep them coming.... really.. don't stop!!!
"And I don't feel bad about it" Omg yes.
I love this video! We will try this!
THIS IS SOO GOOD!
Absolutely the cutest video ever!
