hello superstars! we're back with another episode! I have decided to pack up and move to Thailand for a month on the island of Koh Samui. I will be working remotely here in thailand and vlogging my days here! Solo traveling is one of my favorite things and I hope to inspire you to travel and spend time living alone in a foreign country. I've literally grown with your channel. From a stressed college freshman who had dreams of continuing my language learning and travelling to world, to now travelling and living the dream life I've envisioned for myself. I'm currently in Southeast Asia (next door to Thailand) and healing myself before I move to explore and learn new things about myself.
Koh Samui is a stunning place, I went there over 5 years ago but still remember it being a magical, serene island. Enjoy friend!
I've heard that Thailand has so many snakes they can literally fall from the ceiling! So I'm watching your video thinking maybe it's not as bad as I've heard. Then a second later there's a snake in your kitchen. lol I'm so freaked-out over snakes it would completely unravel me, poisonous or not. Kudos to you for not being afraid of snakes because I certainly am. A snake a day? Are you kidding me? You couldn't pay me to hang out in a place with snakes. The place is beautiful and I have heard that the food is cheap, but snakes? No! lol 🧚♀

I'm really struggling with wanting to live in France (have wanted to for over a decade) and yet also living in a dream city of mine (San Francisco) which I love - and finally being stable as an adult with a job vs. Still mourning having my art school journey at SFAI cut off from Covid and your videos give me such an intense longing that is hard for me to process because I want to be grateful for where I am now but I still want what I want
How lovely Shayna deals with a selfled snake residency is utterly respectful. Totally unconscious, but I love it , not being pushed into stress or freight and anxiety.
I used to always forget to check my boots when living in snake and dangerous spider countries and people got mad about it : - ))
Until last travels in Mexico, canyoning on my own thru selva and finding out on my return I had crossed for days, barefeet, the natural habitat of a small spider the poison was lethal of and small lethal poisoneous snakes. Happy to be alive and ignorant, but will do better research next time, promised.
