Good morning! Since VLOGMAS starts on Friday, I wanted to release a video that wasn't holiday related. But get ready for VLOGMAS because I'm going all in this year!🎄
1. On days you don’t use the purple shampoo what shampoo do you use? 2. Do you use the conditioner you showed in this video on every wash day? 3. Do you have a video for what you do on day 2, 3 etc.. 4. How often do you wash your normally?
That's interesting, I've never seen anyone applying cream over gel. I've been caring for my grey curls for 4 years and all I ever saw on YT curly influencers are all young and do not have grey curls, therefore there's no content on how to care for grey curls, then finally came across your channel. Thank you. I just subscribed to your channel.
Thank you for this tutorial! I picked up a few tips from you on how to manage the lift in the crown and the wonky curls in the front. Your hair is gorgeous!
Thank you thank you! All this time, the tool to solve my flat crown problems has been sitting in my cabinet collecting dust! Tried the trick using it at 10% dry and it works amazing!!!
Loved this video cause I have natural curly hair that has a mind of its own. One side of my hair goes into ringlets while the other side goes into bunch of curls. Then I have some hairs that just want to be wavey, lol it's nice to see that your curls have a mind of their own. I use to get frustrated when some curls looked longer and shorter then others but with your videos I see that is what curls do so thank you for your great tips, advise and your time for helping curly girls like me.
I really admire women who can style their hair well and put on make-up well. I have absolutely no talent for either. When I try to style my hair, it usually looks worse than if I just let it do whatever it wants to do. So I usually just wash it and let it go--it's just frustrating to take the time to fiddle with my hair and do nothing but make it look even worse. I'm an every day hair washer (I used to be a marathon runner when I was younger and just had to wash my hair after a run because my scalp was all sweaty, so I just don't feel right now if I skip a day washing my hair, even though I no longer run due to my age--68). So I wash, use one of the microfiber towels you recommended (I love those!) and let it get as much moisture out as possible. Then I just go on my merry way and let my hair do as it pleases (after I look in the mirror, curse, and roll my eyes). I never blow my hair dry, as heat seems to really make my hair dry and brittle (even when I use a diffuser). My hair is so thick that it takes it several hours to dry naturally and I dare not put it in a pony tail when wet because it will still be wet at night when I take it out of the pony tail. I'd love to be able to do with my hair what you do with yours! Alas, God didn't see fit to make me good at "female things" (like hair and make-up). I've had two "careers" and, thankfully, my hair wasn't important. I was a statistician and psychomatrian for many years and numbers don't care what you look like. Later, I went back to school and started working with animals with behavioral issues (so much happier doing that) and animals don't care what you look like, either.
Just wanted to say how glad I was to read your post and see that I'm not the only one who struggles with these things. I'm just not good at styling my hair nor makeup either and I've made several attempts and have watched tutorials and I just suck at it....I work in a warehouse, so thank God it doesn't matter but it's nice to hear about someone else's struggle as well.
so glad to see youre showing exactly what you do .a lot of curly haired you tubers wont/dont admit they actually use a curling iron to get some good curls . i always have felt sad after watching them cos my curls never turn out perfect and i do need to use an iron , glad to see the truth is other curly girls do too
Oh girl......I love a good curling iron! There are days that my curls look great and I don't need to help them out. Other days they need some direction. There's no shame!
I do almost everything you do, and use most of the same products as well. Only I don't use hairspray. And I apply all of my product while still on the shower. I find it to be easier with long natural curly hair. I do like your curling iron method for the stubborn unruly strays. Gonna give it a try. You're absolutely precious darlin! I've thoroughly come to enjoy your channel!! Much love from Texas. ❤
Applying products in the shower would be much easier if you have really long hair. As you can see in the video, the shoulders of my gown get wet and I even keep the towel wrapped around me. Good tip!
Love this so much!!! Very helpful for our curly hair!!! My twin sister Nd i always struggling to style our hair with the right products! Thank you for sharing!❤😊
I totally love your hair. My hair is naturally curly and extremely frizzy. Thank you 🙏 for showing each and every step. My question is; how is your hair cut. ??? My hair is a little past my shoulders and I have never liked it short before because when it dries it looks extremely short. I’m grey also and I just love love love this video. Thank you 🙏 and God bless you and your family. I pray that you have a safe and blessed Christmas season
So sorry to hear about your mom! I just found out about it on Welcome To My Curls the Inside Scoop, Answer segment. That was on my smart TV that doesn't have room for comments. No need to respond, just sorry for your loss!
My curl pattern is very similar to yours and I use same styling methods. But I have never seen that styling tool for lift at the crown! Definitely need that 😃
My hair is very similar to yours! Appreciate you sharing your routine. Wanted to ask that I haven’t seen you share, do you use anything on your hair overnight? Do you put it in a silk overnight scarf?
You are so welcome! That little tool is really great! I helps with flat spots and I'm able to give my hair direction. Absolutely something every curly girl needs!
Always love your tips. Us curlies know the unruly wonky days!! You are such a joy to tune into each and every week. Blessings always to you Renee. ❤🎄❤️
Thank you so much for showing us how you style your curls. I too have naturally curly hair and it can be a bear to try and tame it. I too 🙋🏼♀️have asked you to show us how you make your hair so beautiful. I’m placing an order from your store so you will get whatever they give you. LOL I’ve learned several things from you and on payday I will place my order. Again thank you so very much my sweet friend and not only are your curls gorgeous but your hair color is beautiful too. 😀
Your hair is gorgeous !!! I’m transitioning to grey and my curls are not as curly in the sections that have old hair color . Hope they come back when I’m done. 🤔
I’ve been letting my grey grow out for a year now but it’s not holding the curl like the rest & it’s frizzier. I use some same products and techniques. Did you have any issues with your greys in the early stages? I am looking forward to when mine is grown out and hopefully looks similar to yours 😍
Funny that this came out today. I was going to go back over your videos to see how you get your hair like you do. What is the tool you use to get lift and where can I get it?
It's this AuBonacci Styler amzn.to/47mfKE1 All of my hair products and styling tools are detailed in the description box below the video if you are interested in anything else 😁
If you ever want to re-thicken up those areas where you're thinning...I use Revela Hair Growth Serum. It's a little pricey but boy does it work! I've hit that age milestone where my hair is beginning to thin a little (I'm 56). Normally my hair is a bit thick with curly waves but the thinning is happening at my crown and temples so this stuff is really helping to get me back to normal. It helps me style my hair so much easier than constantly fighting those thinning areas. It even worked on my thinning brows!
Hi Renee, I somehow missed this video when you posted it a few months ago. What brand of hairdryer did you use? Is it a Laifen dryer? I ask because I need a new one.
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Yes it is! My hairdresser recommended this product but I was wondering what your opinion was before I decided which one to get. Didn’t know if you had ever tried it or even knew about it. Also, FYI, seems Matrix has repackaged all their hair care products and are no longer calling them their Total Results line.
Renee can you please have a video on how your hair dresses cuts your curls. I know she doesn't like to be in camera maybe you can block her out?? I need to have my cut done right. Kim
Wow, you have gorgeous hair, I wish I can just snap my fingers & end up with your hair, TY for the detailed video, It's interesting, that you did not brush your hair out, as soon as you took it out of the micro fiber towel, you started putting the products in, then use your fingers to rake your hair, so interesting, TY so much for your time, I'm 63, just not ready yet, I love looking at these kind of videos!
Both of my daughters have very different curls. Kendel's curls are wavy and soft. Brecken's curls are tight and thick. Mine are corkscrew and fine. So....we each have a different method of styling our hair but we do use some of the same products :)
Morning Sunshine! How are you feeling? I was up at 4:00 this morning making Judy’s vegetable soup, maybe that’s what you need!😊 Question…In your video you put the bacon in just before finishing cooking then eating shortly thereafter. I’m not going to be eating until later this afternoon, should I wait to add the bacon or ok to go ahead and add? Hope you have a good day and continue to feel better!
Hi Susie! Feeling better just left with a stuffy nose and ears. I'm up and moving this morning so that's a good sign. As for the soup, I would hold off on putting in the bacon and add when you warm it up later today. But honestly, either way is fine. I like my bacon to be crispy...and when it's in the soup for a while it gets softer. Just personal preference. Enjoy it!!

Curly girls/women are so particular about every curl. We get that detail on point -
Thank you thank you! All this time, the tool to solve my flat crown problems has been sitting in my cabinet collecting dust! Tried the trick using it at 10% dry and it works amazing!!!
Glorious gray curls. Love it!

I’m grateful for your videos, I’ve learned so much even after 55 years of having this curly hair. TY! You’re beautiful 😍
Yay!
Yay, thanks for doing this, girly! I was one of your newbies who requested this! 😘
Glad you requested it. 🙂 I just love her hair!! 🥰

Yay! It's a great product!
Just gorgeous Renee💗 So jelly of your curls 😂 Hope your cold is lifting and you treat yourself to a couple of slow days🌟🧡
Good morning Kerry!! My cold is getting better thankfully....just left with congested ears and a stuffy nose for a while. That's no fun!
You are so wonderful using that small curling iron. Such a great idea to just "help" those wayward curls.
Love your tips! Curious how often you wash your hair and if not every day, do you have a video on how you style second day hair? Thanks!
your hair is so beautiful! I wish I had naturally curly hair!
Thank you! I'm always envious of women with straight beautiful hair 🤩
Love this so much!!! Very helpful for our curly hair!!! My twin sister Nd i always struggling to style our hair with the right products! Thank you for sharing!❤😊
Thank you so much for showing us!! I just LOVE your hair!! ❤ Norwegian subscriber.
Thank you Renee, I always love your pretty curls. Your hair tutorial was just what I needed.
Renee your hair is absolutely beautiful
Oh thank you! 💗
It looks so good! My curls are never the same, something different every time. Also, your skin is flawless. What is your skincare???
THANK YOU FOR SHARING AGAIN, SLIGHT CHANGES AND IT LOOKS SPECTACULAR. MY HAIR ISN'T QUITE AS CURLY AS YOURS BUT I THINK YOUR WAY WILL HELP.

There is always that one curl that doesn’t like to listen. Kind of like families 🤭. Looks great! Your hair just seems to get better and better.
My curl pattern is very similar to yours and I use same styling methods. But I have never seen that styling tool for lift at the crown! Definitely need that 😃

You are my hair inspiration. I take your photo into m6 stylist every time I go.💕
Thanks so much for sharing! That lifter you use looks like a game changer. Always see something I "need" when I watch your videos!🤣🤣
You are so welcome! That little tool is really great! I helps with flat spots and I'm able to give my hair direction. Absolutely something every curly girl needs!
Your hair curls so well! I'm jealous - looks great.

Ahhhhhh.....I know!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Your hair and colour are just so beautiful 😍
Are your curls natural? I’m thinking of a perm. I have wavy hair but not the curls. I love your hair style and color. So beautiful
Your hair is gorgeous !!! I’m transitioning to grey and my curls are not as curly in the sections that have old hair color . Hope they come back when I’m done. 🤔
They might! My hair got softer and the curls got looser once my grey was completely in.
Beautiful, beautiful curls!
Thank you! 😊
Have you tried the 2 fingers coil around each other? I wish I knew what to call it😆It has been a game changer for my curls
You manage your hair beautifully. My hair is straight and thick. It's awkward to get a good style
thank you 😊
Gorgeous! In addition to frizzy, wavy, cowlicks, and thinning, I have a couple of stick straight pieces on my crown. It’s a nightmare to fix!!
I have a couple of those straight pieces myself :)
Hi, just found your channel and glad I did. Is this blow dryer still your favorite that you recommend, if not please share which one is. Thank you.
Yes it is! Here’s the Amazon link amzn.to/3UngbcB

Good evening. Looking gorgeous! I am wondering what it would look like when air dried 😃 Love your channel!
It looks like an unruly flat mess 🤪

Hi Renee,
I somehow missed this video when you posted it a few months ago. What brand of hairdryer did you use? Is it a Laifen dryer? I ask because I need a new one.
Hi when you do your nails how do you remove the gel do you use acetone? Your nails look so pretty.
I love your curls! Great tips. Looking forward to vlogmas. 🎄. Just don’t wear yourself out please. 😊
Can you share what you do with your hair when you go to bed? Loose pony on top of head?
Thank you! This was very helpful.
You're welcome!
You have beautiful hair! I too have gray curly hair, just not as thick. Mine is not so curly on top though.
The top of my head gets stringy....not such bouncy curls as the rest. Same as you!
Can you show us how long you go before you wash again and how do you sleep with it to maintain the Curia
I was my hair every 2-3 days....just depends on the frizz, what I have going on, and if I got sweaty or not 😆
Am very interested in buying your shampoo and conditioner, but curious first why you don’t use their “A Curl Can Dream” line instead?
Hi! I've never tried it! Is this from the Total Results line?
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Yes it is! My hairdresser recommended this product but I was wondering what your opinion was before I decided which one to get. Do you ever blow-dry your hair smooth And if you do how do you do that?
Good morning beautiful Renee!
Good morning!
I live this video
I’m using blue shampoo.
You have such pretty girls and I loved this video. What hair cut do you ask your stylist for please? Thank you. Blessings from the United Kingdom. X
Could you please explain why you even use a microfiber towel if you are just going to rewet it?
Gorgeous!
I love Ouidad Advanced climate control I think its perfect for my curly hair

What would your hair look like after shampoo and conditioner with no product and air dry?
It would be flat on top and frizzed out all around. My curls would have no shape and everything would be in my face. No bueno!
my hair is exactly like yours but never looks that good!!
Cute style! Would love to see a straight style on your cute face!!
I get asked all the time if I straighten my hair. Randy even said the other day that I should do it for a video!! hmmmm....not so sure about that!
Yes, I don't understand why people suggest that.
do your daughters do this method also?
Both of my daughters have very different curls. Kendel's curls are wavy and soft. Brecken's curls are tight and thick. Mine are corkscrew and fine. So....we each have a different method of styling our hair but we do use some of the same products :)
