What other motor controller could I use? I don't have the bts7960. Is there one for a 5v motor? And how would I connect it in that case?
No, only bts7960 can be used for this.
Have you considered magnetic encoders as a cheaper option ?
Resolution is very high but I'm not sure if output signal is compatible with software......

Bro ,for me with the 775 motor, when I turn the wheel, there is a screeching sound and the torque is very low, and the bts7960 driver gets very hot. I added another motor and tested it with 12V 10A and 20A, but there was no difference, what is the reason?
First, test the motor from direct 12v to make sure it works fine. then check the wiring of the BTS driver. maybe problem with your BTS driver.

That happens rarely. If there is no solution, it will be fixed after resetting the settings

I have a problem that I can't solve I hope you can help me, I'm using a 600ppr encoder but I can't make it work on pins 0 and 1, I tried on other pins with some code I wrote and it works perfectly, but since I try to put it on pin 0 is 1 it doesn't go, regardless if I use my code, etc utility lite or wheel config. Please help me
When connecting to pins 0 and 1, you have to connect through two resistors. It is shown in my (DIY spinning wheel) video.

Hey, it always throw an error when uoloading the hex code to the Leonardo boarx 😢. Whys that?
The hex file should be uploaded after pressing the reset button on the arduino board. This should upload within a few seconds.

Probably not, the PCB in these controllers are cheaply made and I think the simply processor/IC can’t keep up with such precise inputs.
Idk what doubts your having, but if it had to do with the software, anything is possible, my knockoff CH340 Arduino Uno R3 works by using vJoySerialFeeder, the CH340 cannot be used as an HID inputs through UnoJoy. If it’s about pricing, the Uno R3 CH340 only costs $3 minimum and the rotary encoder only around $1
Isn't there a way to connect the encoder and 4 potentiometers? To be able to use the handbrake without the need for the joystick
No, Wheel config software only supports 3 analog axes.

I just cannot figure out how to make a non forcefeedback steering wheel self centering (especially using a rubber band), that’s only my problem lmao
I have tried with rubber bands but after a while everything breaks
@@zudumalli I just figured it out using elastic bands (not rubber bands), simply wrap it like a knot around the steering axle and hot glue it for extra protection for the center point. The elastic band I used is quite thick and provides decent tension/torque, and I’d doubt it’ll break anytime soon even after intense usage. The small issue is the frame, I used a cardboard frame which also where I wrapped the elastic band, the cardboard structure is bending when I wrapped around the cardboard, but thankfully I fixed this issue again by putting some sort of “roll-cage” to strengthen the structure by hot gluing a metal wire on it (in this case it is better to use something like a wooden tube, any some sort of metal stick, or PVC pipes since I don’t have it even something similar to that, atleast that it would fit without cutting it).

I fuck€d up my Thrustmaster TMX wheel, I did the roll barrels mod changing the “crunchy” steering for something more smooth, but on my ignorance I forgot to put some grass to lubricate it, and also the tension was much, so playing one day. The force feedback broke up. Also, on my desesperate and again, ignorance, I thought it would be easier to open it and fixed it, I touch mother board, and having a very nice non-skills on handleling electrónic components, I put much force trying to stick out some cable with de screw driver and I “stab” something on mother board who actually sparked jajajajaa. You can imagine I ensambles it and now don’t even turned on. I thought was something wrong on power supply, so I took it off (after 1-2 months of learning and counsoulting videos) n changed it to a laptop power supply. And guess what? Didn’t turned on JAJAJA. I want my wheeel back, I’m a younger studyhungry boy, no money to another “expensive “ wheel
You can use parts of your wheel and rebuild it. It's a bit difficult but try.

I brought a controller thats pissing me off, I couldn't figure out why Forza Horizon 5 doesn't read the input of the joystick, I wasted a lot of time working on it and no result, plz help if anyone knows
First Install the drivers for the controller. Then go to ''set up USB game contriollers'' in windows and check if it works.
@@zudumalli I actually tried playing rocket league with it and its working just fine, also checked it in the windows usb controller set up, its working, but forza horizon 5 ain't reading input from the controller, btw I playing it on xbox game pass
