    👩🏻‍🍳 Notes from Aeriskitchen
    1. You want a find paste without any bean chunks.
    2. Simply remember 4-3-4-3 minutes for cooking time. :)
    3. Since this recipe makes a lot, you can cut the recipe in half, or you can freeze some for later. Simply wrap them with some plastic wrap and freeze them. Take them out of the freezer for about 3 hours before eating them. They will still be pretty fresh and chewy rice cakes.
    4. Once the cooked rice cake dough cooled down, it will start to become not as soft..and it can be more difficult to stretch the dough, so try to make it quickly before that happens. Sprinkle some corn starch over the 24 rice cake pieces and cover some plastic wraps, so they will not get try while you are making ChapSsalTteok.
    5. All the related links for the products I use or my recipe are in the description box.

    This is hands down the best mochi recipe ever. The japanese version is nowhere near as good as the chewy korean version. Thank you!

    I love this! I have attempted to make this but it didn't work out so well. I thought that I was destined to have store bought forever but I'm going to need to retry it now. Freezing the red bean paste is a great tip, I didn't do that and forming them was a mess. Thanks for showing us how to do it, I really appreciate it!

    • @aeriskitchen
      @aeriskitchen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are 3 parts that make difficult for us to form this is... (in my opinion..) the sticky rice cakes that sticks to your hands.. lol (which the corn starch should help).. the soft red bean paste that easily lose its round shape when you fold the rice cakes with the bean ball in it.. (which the frozen bean balls should help..) ..and.. when the cooked rice cake dough cooled down, it becomes more difficult to stretch out and fold it in shape.. (so you need to do things quickly.. ) Anyway, this is very delicious so please try it at home. :)

      mochi is Japanese word

    • @oh_k8
      @oh_k8 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nahi27That makes a lot of sense because the Korean mochi is better. Japanese mochi is soggy and not chewy. The chewiness adds to it's enjoyment for eating and compliments the red bean so much better.
